This is a great alternative to going through a complicated DIY repair or to just buying a new phone due to a cracked screen. Super convenient, pleasant, quick, expert, thorough, and seamless interaction from beginning to end, which was all in all less than 24 hours! OK I haven't upgraded my phone in awhile (iPhone 4s), so when I finally got a large spiderweb crack in the corner, the financially rational option would've been to upgrade the phone. But my hardy phone was actually still fully functional, so my practical side said to look into doing a repair instead. Apple would only do a replacement phone, but DIY online repair kits were enticingly inexpensive. I stumbled upon iCracked as I was searching for DIY instructions, and submitted my request for a quote through their website just to price compare. Within minutes (and this was evening), I had a text message price quote from Geoff. He actually tried to talk me out of the repair due to the age of the phone, but his quoted price (parts, labor & travel all inclusive) was only marginally more than the DIY kits, plus he had the part on hand, so I decided to move forward. Coordination was convenient and easy -- Via text, we scheduled a location and time of my choice for the next day (coffee shop, evening after work). Brand new screen in less than an hour while I waited -- As I enjoyed a drink, Geoff meticulously and expertly went through the 96 steps to disassemble / reassemble the entire phone for the repair. There is something to be said for having someone who's done this a thousand times, as opposed to myself negotiating minuscule screws, stickers, bolts, and connectors! They also do a comprehensive before and after functions check of the phone (microphone, headset, camera etc.). As for the parts, the quality looks fine. I understand they source their own made to Apple standards, and they come with screen protector. My phone has gotten a second life, and if you're satisfied with a functional 3-year old phone as I am and see no need to contribute more e-waste, this is an easy, convenient, & cost effective option. read more

Got a crack in my screen the day before a trip and scheduled an appointment that day. They canceled without a reason, and let me reschedule for later. I called in to make sure it wouldn't get cancelled again, and they let me know that they didn't have my parts. I asked why they would even allow someone to schedule and wait thinking they had help coming if they knew they couldn't honor the appointment, I didn't get a good reason. Just kept saying they are sorry. Now I have burned most of my day and still need to go fight the masses at the Apple store to see if they can fix my screen. read more

We've used iCracked in the past in another city & just recently this past Friday requested service for a repair for 2 phones once we got settled here in Sammamish. The site allowed us to put in our zip code & said someone would get back to us within an hour. Fast forward 2 days later & my husband received an email saying that they don't service our area. Just a tip to the owners.. If you don't service a specific area, it might be nice to let your potential customers know that from the get go & not have an auto reply that suggests there is service in that specific area. We would've just gotten our phones fixed using a diff service but instead spent our weekend waiting for a reply from a company that doesn't even service our area. Amazing! Just blown away by iCracked. My iphone was beyond disfigured.. Front screen smashed to fine shrapnel but luckily both cameras were intact. Scheduled a repair at home with Katherine from iCracked. Prompt and bang on time. Finished the whole business within 1 hour. Couldnt receive warranty because the frame of my iphone was disfigured so that does suck a bit. However Katherine was amazing. Absolute best customer service I have received in years! I had my daughter's iPhone 4s and an iPad fixed by iCracked in July, the screen supposedly went bad on the iPhone (per apple) about Nov 1st. Brian did did an excellent and efficient job fixing my iPhone (it was cracked and half of the screen wasn't working, but now it's in good shape!). It only took him about 40 minutes to get it all done, and on top of that, he was willing to drive to the south side to be of service when he is from the north. Geoff was amazing. I have dropped my iphone 5 about six million times (no exaggeration). The glass on both front and back was cracked badly, the home button wasn't working well, and the frame damage was scary. Geoff worked with me to find a time and location to meet up, came out much farther than I thought anyone would (I live in the boonies) and took the necessary time to fully fix my phone. It was a tough repair, but Geoff stuck with it, used some elbow grease and tenacity, and now I have what looks and works like a brand new iphone 5 (minus the cracks on the back... not much you can do about those). Read the great reviews and decided to contact iCracked for LCD replacement on a Samsung Galaxy S5. Once you request a quote, you get "automated" responses via email and text that someone will contact you soon. I waited for 3 days with no response. I came to find out the person (Timothy) had claimed my ticket, but never tried contacting me. That was when I found out that they rely on contractors to do work for them. Most do little or no business with iCracked, but could "claim" you ticket. I finally got Timothy's # from the iCracked customer service and called him for a quote. He answered the phone in a less than professional manner and seemed obviously to my request. People here on Yelp mentioned they worked with Katherine and she was great, so I contacted iCracked for her contact info. When I contacted her, the voicemail said she was stuck in Mexico due to dental surgery complications and unavailable for work. Overall, I was not impressed with their "random contractor" business model and lack of screening of the people they employ. I also called Samsung and found their quote for LCD replacement is over 25% cheaper and at least I know it would be done by qualified professionals, instead of people that watched someone do it on Youtube. read more

Great company, until there's a problem. I've been trying to get my phone fixed for two months! I called back in September to get my screen fixed and the girl at customer service told me I should call the warranty dept if they'd fixed the phone before. It took three weeks to get though to an actual human. Now, I've been e-mailing back and forth for a month. It took over 20 days to actually get someone with the right part to come to my office, but it wasn't the right part. Now it seems like I'm not covered by the warranty after all. Suffice it to say, I was devastated when I cracked my iPhone 5 screen to bits, and so relieved when she could come to my work the next day to repair it. The first time you told me there was not able tech in my area , but I did not find that out until I contacted you as to why I have not received verification email. The second time I went to the area that you said a tech was available, then again I had to contact you to find out why I did not get a verification email. You then proceeded to tell me that evidently your third-party independent either did not have the parts or were not available.
