    Let's Go Buffalo Pizza
    Emma P.

The first time eating here we ordered the "Let's Go Buffalo Pizza" and it was so, so good! Definitely would order that pizza again... Unfortunately, the same can not be said for "The Hawaiian." It was very gloopy and the flavors didn't mix well.

Good food and nice folks! Can take a little while if the restaurant is busy, but it's certainly worth the wait. The location is rather cool too, mixing classic pizzeria vibes with cool posters. The portions are extremely generous, especially for the price. Convenient location near the courthouse and other downtown businesses. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

I was in Rochester with some friends and we came here for lunch. We got a TON of food, and it was really cool that it was all vegan. Everything tasted exactly how it was supposed to - the pizza especially blew me away. It tastes exactly like NY style pizza, The only thing that gives away that it's not real cheese is that the texture of the cheese is different (nice and creamy but not chewy). Otherwise, you would never know that everything is vegan. The trip itself was great, and starting off with lunch here was a great idea.

This is my go to vegan pizza place located on main st in rochester ny. They only make vegan foods here so there are no cross contamination of other foods. My favorite pizza is the buffalo chicken. If your vegan you know how hard it is to find cheese that actually melts, we'll search no more the cheese on their pizza is like the real deal and the blue cheese is the tastiest and the chicken is perfect! But the crust is awesome and the toppings don't fall off and the crust is not flimsy!! Off st parking only... come eat here you won't be disappointed!!

I'm always looking for something good for lunch downtown, and was so bummed when Hot Rosita's closed. Squatcho's has taken its place as a vegan pizza/sub/garbage plate place which is a welcome addition to this area. I had the Buffalo chicken salad recently, and it was a great portion for $12. Filled with cheddar cheese, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, and breaded Buffalo "chicken". I am not vegan and as a blue cheese connoisseur I couldn't tell that the blue cheese wasn't "regular". There are quite a few tables to eat in, but you can definitely take it to go. Service was fast and friendly. I am pumped to return and try the pizza and subs!

Whenever I visit my best friend in Rochester, I can count on her to point me towards the best food the area has to offer. And Squatcho's is one of the best vegan (and, frankly, pizza) places I've had in the 585. Squatcho's is located downtown among the high rise office buildings in the city. They recently opened on Saturdays, I assume they try to cater to all the office workers during the week. They have a sizable menu of pizzas, subs, sandwiches, and wings -- all vegan, of course. I opted for the Let's Go Buffalo pizza and my friend and I shared an order of garlic parmesan wings. The pizza was absolutely divine. It had a garlic butter base, blue cheese crumbles, and chicken finger bits. All the flavors went perfectly together and I didn't find it to be too spicy. The crust was super fluffy while not being too bread-like, which I love. The garlic parmesan wing I had was delicious too -- be careful not to bite too directly into these as they feature small skewers that act as "bones!" I'm not vegetarian nor vegan, but if I lived in the area, I'd absolutely be ordering Squatcho's regularly. The food was just so good and it perfectly satisfied my pizza and wings craving.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! We were visiting our son at RIT from San Diego and decided to get some dinner before a hockey game. Just wow!!! The food was incredible (we got buffalo chicken pizza and a meatball sub) and the 2 people working there were SO nice! Thank you! Please move to SD so we can eat there all the time! Delicious!

I ordered a pizza for take out but when I walked in I was greeted so friendly. My pizza was still cooking but when it came out I'm in awe! It's gorgeous and super flavorful. I got the Madonn and added some extras. You will not be disappointed with this quaint little pizza shop.

    Garlic Knots

This is a brand new vegan pizza joint next door to Peach Blossom. The interior is spacious with at least a dozen tables, and the decor leans into the Sasquatch theme. In particular there is a large Sasquatch mural on the wall that gives a cool vibe, and makes the place look pretty polished for such a new spot. Two 12" pizzas, 5 wings and 2 garlic knots ordered at the counter took about 15 minutes, which is a reasonable amount of time. There were no issues with the order at all. The first pizza was the Madonn - with marinara, spinach, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella and "tofu ricotta". Dough and doneness is always a preferential thing. This dough has some nice subtle sweetness to it and though I didn't scrape a fork against the bottom, it seemed to have a medium char on it without becoming brittle. The cheese they use is among the better I've had on vegan pizzas in recent years, and it tastes great in combination with a very solid marinara. The ricotta was creamy and had just a bit of savoriness, while also adding a nice texture. If I had any criticism it is that the tomatoes were a little underwhelming - they lacked a bit of punch - though I appreciate that they didn't skimp on them. Overall, very good. The second pizza was the Satriale's - with marinara, mozzarella, parmesan, sausage, ham, pepperoni and meatballs. All the same things about the dough and cheese remain true here. The meats (being vegan) had a variety of textures that emulated a real Meat Lovers pizza, just without that extra grease puddle that often comes from piling this much meat on a pizza. You might miss a little of the low level heat that spicy Italian sausage and pepperoni might add, but otherwise this comes pretty close. The addition of Parm on this pizza also blended well with the mozzarella and marinara, even better than on the other pizza. Again, this was very good. The garlic knots were fairly basic, with a crunchy exterior and fluffy guts. The bread itself tasted good, but I could use a little more garlic or herbiness. It dipped nicely into the large cup of piping hot marinara. Finally the wings with Boss Sauce. This is my second time eating this style of vegan wings, and I have to say it's a winning product. It doesn't necessarily resemble chicken wings in terms of texture, but it delivers sauced up protein in a drumstick that will leave your fingers coated in sauce. Don't try to bite the whole thing at once because there's a wooden skewer acting as the bone in each wing. The tangy vegan blue cheese was also excellent and had a texture resembling the real deal. Overall, I really enjoyed Squatcho's and will definitely be back to try other pizzas and their buffalo wings. They also have some hot subs, garbage plates and burgers which I'm interested in trying. Check this place out.

I was looking for more plant-based proteins and foods that would fill me up so I'm not quite as hungry when fasting. I really do enjoy this service. The quality of the food is very good. I love that there is a variety of meal options, and these are rotated in and out at a good rate. I think I've only had one or two repeat meals in the month I've been purchasing. I am not a vegan, but I do like to eat primarily plant-based and the recipes the chef comes up with are quite ingenious. They sound very interesting and have a lot of cultural influences. I particularly like the asian inspired meals, noodle bowls, Indian... last week there was a Moroccan Bean stew, and it looked so good, I let my dad have it because he wanted to try out a meal. I prefer to pick up my order each week. They have a nice curbside pickup system working right now. You can get food delivered for a fee to the Rochester and Buffalo areas. I prefer to save a few dollars and I have made it a part of my Sunday routine that's focused on me. There is only one drawback. Meals come to you in plastic take out containers. They are very durable and great for taking to work. But I wish these could somehow be more environmentally friendly. I do recycle, but I worry it's not enough. If you feel pressed for time in your week and would like to have really tasty, healthy, flavorful meals this is a great option. At $12.00 per meal, it is somewhat expensive, but at the same time maybe it's not given that food prices at grocery stores have gone up. It isn't a frozen Healthy Choice bowl, and you are getting your money's worth in terms of portion size, food quality and nutritional value.

I am an infantile vegan (only 5 months) and lasagna was a meal I was going to miss. Also I have found myself eating a lot of processed vegan foods due to convenience and sweet pea offered a solution to my *problems*. I ordered lasagna, butternut squash soup, muffins, and tikka masala. The muffins were amazing and moist and not chewy like a lot of vegan baked goods. The cauliflower bechamel in the lasagna was also noteworthy. But fast forward to the tikka masala- Wow! The price was right as the portions lasted me all week and saved me so much time. Also the nutrition information is provided and you can pronounce all the ingredients and the calories are reasonable. Also happy with the protein content of all these items! One recommendation would be- I personally added salt to the dishes. I find this common with vegan food though and appreciate that people can salt to taste. All of this, and the meals were dropped off at my door ready to be microwaved. I highly recommend even if not a vegan just a healthy option for those nights you can't or don't want to cook. Also to the other review that this place was pricey and packaging was not eco friendly- do you know that offering eco friendly packaging would subsequently increase costs even more? Unfortunately you can't have it all, at least without paying for it.

Recently having gone back to a Plant-Based lifestyle, I was craving a good pizza yesterday. I placed my order online for future pickup, then arrived a few minutes early to pick it up. I received my order, which was still piping hot when I arrived home. The Snapcase Pizza was great, a sauce base of Buffalo and Boss sauce mixed, topped with Chick'n and Vegan Cheese. Perfectly cooked crust, and just the right amount of topping. The House-Made Vegan Mozzarella Stix were surprisingly good! Cheezy with a stretch, and a nice crispy breading. The May-Wah wings I ordered with the same sauce blend as the pizza, Buffalo and Boss sauce mixed. They were good, but slightly mushy. I also wish they came with more than two celery sticks!
