I wish I could give them negative stars; St Croix Cleaners are scam artists. I brought in drapes to be dry cleaned and it was obvious the woman behind the counter did not want to assist me. I was told I would be called with the price, before the drapes were sent out. I did not receive a call, therefore I called requesting pricing and leaving my mobile number. A return call was never received. I went to pick up the draperies today, and the price was $419.44. I was told it was going to be expensive, but this is outrageous. Do NOT go to this store, unless you want to be ripped off. read more

We just bought a house in WBL, and were looking for a nearby dry cleaner. We decided on St Croix since it's conveniently located off 61, right next to Kowalski's, so it's super easy to do some quick shopping while dropping off clothes. I've used them for some of my husband's work clothes and some more delicate items and they've done a fantastic job! The WORST customer service experience I've ever had. My husband brought some curtains in to be hemmed in early February and was told by the person at the front desk that he had "no idea" how much it would cost and he would follow up with an estimate before the company started work. I called the company after I didn't hear back after a week and was told that the alterations had been done and the cost was more than 1.5 times what I would have paid at my usual tailor (Tom's - awesome tailor, by the way). The store manager told me this was a "really good price" and insisted I pay it - when I said I'd paid far less for similar curtains at Tom's a month or two before, she proceeded to barter with me. I did not want to deal with it, so we agreed to pay what they were asking for - less than originally charged, but still more than Tom's. We picked up to find out that the seamstress had not followed instructions and hemmed them waaay too short. I had to contact the company several times before getting a call back, manager Erica told me that if I wanted a refund, I'd have to bring in receipts and the original curtains back to them (umm, tacky much?). I told Erica St. Croix could pick them up because of the hassle they'd caused, which it did. Erica told me it would take "several weeks" - it's now March 22, and I have yet to receive this check. I followed up today, and Erica stated she sent it to the wrong address, then sent me a follow up email essentially stating whoops, we did send it to the correct address on March 15. Not sure why it would take more than a week for the check to arrive, but I can honestly say I've NEVER had such horrible customer service in my adult life. Stay away! read more

If you say you're going to be open at 9:00 on Saturday morning, then be open at 9:00 on Saturday morning. I waited until 9:15 this morning at the White Bear location and then had to leave. They do a good job cleaning but we have had some trouble with lost and misplaced items as well. They could definitely use some improvement in organization and customer service. read more

Awesome job on my thoroughly covered with cat hair coats! After going through a whole lint roller, I gave up and decided to have them cleaned. Not only were they completely cat hair free when I picked them up but they smelled clean. The price was a little high but since I could not handle any more lint rolling, I was glad to pay the price to have someone else do it. read more

One item: a comforter. It took a week and cost $33. No explanation. Would have been easier to go to the laundromat. Cost and the fact that ONE ITEM TOOK A WEEK- I won't be back. Only gave it one star, because they gave it to me in a nice bag with a handle. read more

Just picked up 3 winter coats and I can honestly say that it was the best job done on my winter coats. There wasn't a speck of anything left on them - I've had this happen at too many other cleaners. I was a consistent customer of this location for years and was generally very satisfied. Over the last several months the customer service has declined significantly. Items are not returned on time requiring multiple trips to retrieve them, a staff that makes no effort to show appreciation for loyal customers. Attitudes are reflective of management and the staff at this location takes no accountability for the errors they make. Instead, they make it the customers problem and the customers responsibility to solve. The antithesis of customer service!!!! How can a customer actually make a mistake at a dry cleaner? We bring items, we leave items, we want to pick up the same items. Simple right??? Not here. The location manager even suggested in a voice mail that my business is no longer welcome...no worries there as I will happily take my business elsewhere and I highly recommend all others do the same. read more
