So you can imagine the state I was in when it actually happened. I've never dealt with death on this level before, more less have it be my spouse and very best friend. My sister did a lot of googling and researching to help me find a place to make arrangements. She called Diablo Valley Cremation and told me she had a really good feeling about them. We made an appt, but were actually able to come down anytime. We sat down and spoke to Bari, who was above and beyond compassionate and professional. She explained everything so gently, and it was almost as if there was nothing I had to worry about or do outside of grieving my dear husband. I knew she was the perfect fit to care for my husbands passing. She handled everything, and I mean everything. Her communication was top notch and extremely easy to get ahold of in case I had any questions or needing to talk about something. We set up a viewing before cremation, and she was at my and my families side as support throughout the entire experience. My husband looked wonderful. Although it was heartbreaking, Bari made it less horrible. We all hugged her, she made us feel comforted and safe in what we were going through. Bari has turned out to be such an invaluable and amazing partner in this tragic journey of mine. I've had to stop at the business several times to drop off cremation necklaces, my husband's urn, and pick things up. Each time I hugged and thanked her. She even got full handprints of my husband for me, not just the complimentary fingerprints. She genuinely has put so much love, care and concern into my husband, myself and our kids. The entire experience. Bari, I know I thank you so often. But I need to reiterate that I couldn't have gotten through these horrific first steps of my husbands death without your kind and gentle soul. We hope you're able to make it to the service, we'd be honored to have you. With endless gratitude and love, The Lindborg Family

They keep their grounds clean and attended all the time. The staff here is very nice and easy to work with as well, and because its a faith based cemetery, they are more spiritually minded with their processes and procedures. . Fact: There is a veteran's portion of the cemetery by the flag poles...veteran's and their spouses can be buried here. There is a children's cemetery behind the administration building. My mom recently passed away and all of her services were prepaid. At first, I originally contacted…read moreAll Souls Cemetery after hours, who directed me to Twin Chapels Mortuary (TCM). I spoke to Vincent and explained that my mother had just passed and made arrangements to have her body removed. I vividly remembered that my contract had a Sacramento funeral home, so when I found the contract, I politely called Vincent back to cancel. I was unaware at that time that Covid created a partnership between All Souls Cemetery and Twin Chapels Mortuary, so Vincent assured me that I was not breaching any contract and scheduled an appointment with the Funeral Director. I was happy Vincent called the other Funeral home and explained the situation in my behalf; besides it made sense to keep things local. This is the first time I have been to TCM and was very curious how it was laid out. We met with Greg Silva, and since Mom's services were prepaid, everything was seamless. He answered every question we had, even gave me his cell phone # for any questions after our meeting, of which Greg always responded in a timely manner. Greg was coordinating with our church in real time for available dates. We left knowing the exact dates of the vigil and funeral mass. After we picked a Memorial book, Greg gave us a tour of the chapel where the service will be held and the dining area where guests can have light refreshments. Greg also informed us that TCM will print us a poster of Mom for the viewing at no cost. The layout of the chapel where my mom's services would be was a good size, it can accommodate up to 300 people, even extend to 400 if needed by removing the partitions. There is a 2nd exact chapel on the opposite side, hence they were called Twin Chapels. There is ample parking on the side and at the back, also plenty of street parking if the lot is full. The size was perfect for our service, not too big, not too small. During the week, I finished Mom's obituary and emailed it to Greg. It was uploaded within minutes of receipt! We then dropped off Mom's attire and met Tracy that day. She was very helpful with the additional service questions I had; she even informed me that she would be the one assisting on the day of the service. I also had the opportunity to talk to Jessica on a few things and she too was very helpful. Day of the Visitation started at 4, however TCM allowed us to be there an hour early to set-up. Everything was set-up and saw that TCM made 2 posters of my mom! For the dining area, TCM provided complimentary Coffee and tea; and had 2 dispensers for hot and cold water. We anticipated a good turn out so we brought extra 8 oz water bottles and extra coffee makers. Except for a few minor electrical shorts, everything was well organized. Trudy was always readily available to help. Day of the Funeral Mass - the mass was at noon, however since TCM was opened at 9am, they allowed us to be there early to pay final respects before they closed the casket. Around 11am, Dave Reeder, Funeral Director in Charge, summoned the pall bearers and explained their roles, gave us funeral stickers for our cars, and also informed us the time we were leaving so we could say our final goodbyes to Mom. TCM brought the 2 posters and 2 floral wreaths for the church. Again, another well organized event to the church and after the Mass. Since Mom was going to be cremated, we did not go to the cemetery. TCM staff collected all the flowers and posters who brought it back to TCM for us to collect later that afternoon. TCM has a crematory onsite and will be handling Mom's cremains. Our overall experience with TCM was a positive one from start to finish! They treated us with empathy, compassion and respect. One of the few (if not the only) locally own funeral homes in Vallejo, I highly recommend their services for your loved ones. Thank you TCM for a beautiful, well executed service for mom.

My dad lost his battle with cancer, and saying goodbye to him was the hardest experience I have ever faced. Priscilla handled all of the cemetery arrangements, while George managed the funeral, church, and burial services with incredible compassion and professionalism. During a time filled with grief, stress, and uncertainty, George and Priscilla were a source of comfort and guidance. They made a very difficult process feel seamless and treated our family with kindness, dignity, and genuine care every step of the way. They far exceeded our expectations, and I truly don't know what we would have done without them. Queen of Heaven is a beautiful and peaceful cemetery nestled in the foothills of Lafayette. The grounds are serene and impeccably maintained, and the chapel is one of the most beautiful cemetery churches I have ever seen. Knowing my dad rests in such a special place brings our family comfort. I was also told they offer a monthly Saturday memorial service to honor and remember loved ones who have recently passed. As Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on my dad's life and the impact cancer has on so many families. This month, I completed a cycling fundraiser to help raise awareness and support the fight against cancer in memory of my dad and for all those who have passed away or continue to battle this disease. It reminded me how precious life truly is. What I've learned through this journey is simple: if there are things you've always wanted to do, places you've wanted to see, or people you've wanted to spend time with, do it now. Don't wait. Life is precious, and it passes by far too quickly. Thank you, George, Priscilla, and the entire team at Queen of Heaven. This review may be long overdue, but our gratitude remains just as strong today as it was a year ago. We will never forget your kindness, compassion, and the comfort you brought our family during our darkest days. In loving memory of my dad.
