Junk removal took care of that job & removed the rat poop. Then I called A2Z to clean everything assuming that's all I'd have to do. Last night I saw a giant rat run across my garage so now I've paid $3500 to hazmat clean the 1/2 my garage but still have a rat infestation. I'm now working with a rat removal service but before A2Z allowed me to hire them & get in contract they should have advised me to be sure to complete the proper step beforehand of ensuring the rat infestation was resolved. Now i'm out $3500 for an unnecessary garage cleaning and still have a rat infestation. As a new homeowner (or any homeowner) I'd assume a good business would make sure I've done the pre work (in this case rat infestation elimination) before accepting the job. That's in my view a shitty thing to have done to me as the client. Really disappointed because they seemed professional throughout the process. So for this reason of not holistically proactively making sure the proper prep was done I cannot rate this business any higher than a 2 star. I'm not angry I am however very disappointed and feel that I've been tricked. I cannot recommend this business.

Drew offered the lowest bid and a confidence that he and his team could get the job done to our satisfaction. Their work was outstanding! When we informed him that our travel schedule would delay their start until June, he was flexible. His team's thorough mold/ moisture remediation (removing the old moldy vanity, damaged moldy wallboard, and floor tiles) was completed in a week The remediation quickly received Satisfactory test results from SAFE, the environmental testing agency we independently hired. The restoration work then moved well with the replacing of sheet rock on the wall (where mold/moisture had been) but the laying of the replacement floor tiles was stalled when the team discovered that those tiles were slightly too short of matching the original 24"x12" floor tiles. To stick to our budget, we had opted to get the tiles on our own, not realizing that brands can differ in their tile sizing. This resulted in an unexpected interruption of the project for the PPR team while we found another tile brand true to size. Drew remained patient and flexible with us. The tile team did a beautiful job laying the new replacement tiles. After that, the last step was installing replacement vanity which was also done perfectly. UPDATE 8/14 I…read morereceived the statement of work Wednesday AM (8/12) right before the project manager Gomer shows up. He comes by, expects me to have signed the SOW looks at the jobsite and doesn't say much. I told him I am going to need to wait until I can check on my computer and since PGE is cutting power I will have it tomorrow. I let him know I am not happy with how he is conducting business and I get the "I hear you" and "Trust me". I review the SOW and ask a number of questions. Some are basic, like when will the project start, when will the project complete, who is responsible for ordering and buying appliances, who is responsible for any damage to the items that have been left outside for months. A couple hours later Gomer calls me. I asked him if he reviewed by questions and he says no. He is busy driving around. I tell him to talk to his people and then we can talk. He takes offense to that and starts arguing with me I am being unreasonable and he calls all his customers. I said I didn't have time to shoot the shit and he needs to be prepared and review the questions. He says he is not calling to shoot the shit but he is also not calling to discuss the SOW since he hasn't reviewed it. Given on August 5th I made it clear I wanted all correspondence written since I didn't want a my word against his. He gets very argumentative and the call deteriorates into both of us yelling at each other. I made it clear to the office coordinator I did not walk to work with Gomer and whether they had anyone else. So right now the project is over a week late starting and waiting to hear their solution. These guys have all my furniture and belongings and have my life on hold but it obviously is of no concern. To be continued I figure.

Last Thursday we discovered that our water heater was leaking, and the water had gotten into nearby…read morewalls and caused mold to grow. I called Reactic Restoration on Friday, and Daniel Garza was able to inspect the damage that same day. Our house is older, so testing for asbestos was a standard part of the process; Daniel was able to get us in touch with an asbestos testing company that provides quick test results. That company got a tester to our house the next day (Saturday), and results were available Monday before noon. Fortunately, the tests showed that no asbestos was present. Daniel was able to assign someone to come to our house that same day, and set up dehumidifiers and plastic containment sheets with zipper doors, to seal the work zone, and to put down plastic to protect the carpet. On Tuesday, another team was able to remove the mold-affected wall materials, and wipe down the area with an excellent non-hazardous but effective disinfectant. They knew our preferred plumber was arriving at 1pm, and they were done with all work, including HEPA vacuuming and cleanup, before that time. The dehumidifiers are still set up, and will run for at least 48 hours. Daniel checked the area and the machines today (Wednesday), to make sure everything had been done correctly and that the dehumidifiers were working as intended. I am very happy with the service provided by Reactic Restoration. As Daniel kindly acknowledged on Friday, it's a shock to find mold in your house unexpectedly. It's been less than a week, and the mold is gone, and everything smells normal again! Everyone I encountered from Reactic was professional and kind. I hope we won't need their services again; but if we do, they will be our first call.

He even got the door to move further left so I didn't need to hold the door while opening the detergent drawer. This was done at no charge to rectify the previous issues noted. I agreed not to pursue the issue with the paint color as part of the agreement. Lisa was great in handling this job and ensuring the work was completed quickly. I appreciate her professionalism. I am very happy with the completed project.
