    Burrata salad

The view was spectacular from my table on the patio. Cascade Falls! The beer was cold and my Burrata salad was spot on. The pumpkin seed bread that they served was delicious. I could sit on this patio all night what a fun time. Also had the Wagyu burger which was melt in your mouth good. I will be back. Thank you St Elmo!

Charming 2 story historic hotel, under new ownership. NOTE: NO ELEVATOR. Breakfast included with puffy pancakes and eggs to order. Supposed to be haunted, but we didn't see or feel anything odd. The new owners are planning some great upgrades. The restaurant next door, Bon Ton, is now their property and will be an awesome addition!

Beautiful hotel and a very knowledgeable woman at the front desk! And the restaurant is so good, I had a side salad, beet risotto and a chocolate cake for Valentine's Day and it was all very delicious!

The St Elmo hotel and Tavern were PHENOMENAL. I had the pleasure of meeting the two new owners were fantastic. They just hired a new chef, and the food was absolutely to die for. I posted the Blueberry Ravioli which was my third favorite dish after the chicken parm and Nutmeg fettuccine. The owners said new menu items would drop soon. The views were fabulous and the hotel was straight from a movie. 10/10 recommend! Already planning my trip back

Went for a long weekend in Ouray, and picked this gem of a historical hotel. It's like walking back in time when you enter. Aurora, the lady that helps with the kitchen, is a great cook and fun personality. David, the keeper, is informative and kind, offering input on places to visit and sightsee. If we go back Ouray, St. Elmo will be our go to hotel.

    Our cute/maybe haunted room :)

It's a 140-year place with history and charm and creaks in the floor and a dead bear on the wall and preserved painting of a woman on the bar floor... that kinda spot. And we wouldn't change a thing. The views are spectacular all around, the drive into Ouray is beautiful and The Western puts you in great position to walk Main Street or hike up to Cascade Falls. The bar and bartenders are cocktails are all super cool, including a single large branded ice cube in the glass. Let's talk about the restaurant, though. I didn't want to venture and we gave it a shot. Nothing on the menu really even looked appetizing to me or the kids but we put on a good face anyway for mom. We ate all the food and our words--it was all delicious! By the way: I've spoken to locals and frequenters of Ouray who say that The Western was once considered kinda dumpy before a renovation in the past few years. I can't speak for how it was then, but I can tell you how it is now is just where I want to be.
