Came here on our first night in Ouray as the patio looked Pretty full. We were Seated immediately, but inside. Took a while for someone to Take our drink order. They were out of 2 of their beers on tap. Food didn't take terribly long to come out. Wings were pretty good. Very large and meaty. They fill the order by weight, so you may get between 7-11 wings out server said. We got 9. They were alright. We've had better. I had the prime rib sandwich. This is my first visit to Goldbelt. It was a pretty good experience. The food was really good. We got a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños. I just had water. My buddy had a cocktail which he didn't really care for, but that was just personal taste reasons. The service was slow, even though they were running around like crazy. They seemed understaffed, but I'm not really sure it seemed like they were just inefficient. The staff was stressed and not real friendly, but not rude either. I also ordered the zucchini fried strips for an appetizer they were OK. They brought out the smallest little dip of ranch dressing to go with them. I think I've ever seen. I believe for the pizza, the water and the drink and the appetizer it all came out to about $70 with tip. Which is about average in this town, but dang that seems high to me. Now the pizza was really good and for two of us, we couldn't finish at all so that's a good thing. We did take three pieces back to our cabin to finish up the next morning for breakfast. The night we went the restaurant was busy but not full busy. We waited 10 mins for anyone to come over to our table (we actually almost left) and she didn't apologize, just asked if we were ready. I got a drink called Locals Only and it was pretty good, they weren't stingy on the tequila. For food we got a pepperoni pizza and a burger. Both were just okay. Not bad but not great. I asked for onions on the pizza but got none. Now that I'm looking at my online receipt and either they charged me for 2 drinks or one was $17 by itself (the menu didn't have prices and as you can see this is not a large drink). We happened on Goldbelt on Thanksgiving. It happened to be one of the only options open but we really lucked out on the food and service. We sat on their amazing outdoor patio with our dog, offering incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The Mountain Bliss cocktail was perfect with our Meat Special pizza and Caesar salad. The dough is homemade and the sauce is delicious. My husband's family owned an Italian pizzeria when he was young and he LOVED the dough. Highly recommend stop in if you're in the area. read more

I've had some cheap pizzas both at restaurants and from the frozen aisle in the store. However, I have yet to taste something that I could only equate to watered down ketchup.. No basil or oregano or anything else in the sauce to give it a hint of flavor. My server came back. She was wondering why I only took two slices so far. They forgot the olives, so because of that and the fact that they put dressing on a Togo salad, they got a 4 but their service was epic. She said they just raised prices and she didn't know, I said she should have told me that and take the $2 off but she said she couldn't do that, she wasn't management even though come to find out her mommy is the owner. I didn't raise my voice or say anything mean towards her. All around she had a bad attitude. We went to leave and walked outside, we were on the sidewalk not even on their property anymore and she yelled at me saying I was very mean to her and the way I treated her. There was no reason for her to come outside to yell at me and then she yelled that I was a bitch. Then we went back inside to talk to management which was her mommy. Her mom the owner was just as rude, very unprofessional, said I need to grow up because I didn't want to pay for their high drinks, which we did pay for their drinks. Yelled at my husband saying how dare he let me talk to her daughter like that. I never raised my voice when we were eating and drinking. She then became very rude and defensive about that. Very bad customer service, horrible management/owner. Instead of apologizing for her daughter giving me the wrong price of a drink and didn't even attempt to take off $2 for it she got just as defensive and yelling at me and my husband. This is a well traveled town and destination for so many people. The food was okay and offered a range of bar-style food options. We had the chicken avocado wrap and the chicken bacon wrap. Both go for $17 each. You are paying for the location and the popularity of the town/restaurant. Was not of the fan of the chicken bacon but it was filling and fast for lunch time. They offered pizzas which is probably the way to go in the future. Amazing beer selection which included a bunch of Colorado craft beers. They offer a full bar and have a handful of signature cocktails.
