In the past week, I have had to take both my children to this emergency room. The doctors at both…read moresides were incredible. The registration process was fairly seamless, and the doctors were kind and focused on my children's experience. When we took my youngest child, it was a little bumpy, or than when we took my oldest last night. However, in both instances, the doctors were beyond excellent. The nurses were kind and responsive as well, but the bedside manner of the doctors was what stood out this trip. One concern I do want to notice is that there seems to be a glitch in their medication ordering system, which did not permit the nurse to get the medication needed within a timely manner. Apparently, this has been going on for days and the health staff have brought this forward for internal review multiple times. I hope this gets fixed as it does. Sit back there a patient's healing process when medical providers have to wait for medication.

She was an CNP- NURSE PRACTITIONER but she kept giving an impression that she was a doctor. a doctorate of nurse practitioner is not a DOCTOR, it's a level of education for nurse practitioner. She was arrogant and dismissive of concerns I had and was RUDE AS HELL. Never again will i be seen by her. The other nurses I encountered were great, Molly was awful.

I read all the negative reviews on this place and went anyway. Let me tell you what my experiences…read moreis, and what my expectations were. I have been treated poorly or dismissed at other clinics for a skin issue that has been plaguing me for 5 years. I was checked in, got registered, sat in a nice clean, well lit waiting room with other people who were all experiencing their own emergencies. I got called on quickly. Saw 3 amazing nurses who treated me with care and kindness. If you value your dignity, this place will take amazing care of you. Saw the doctor who was absolutely a joy to speak to, listened, and offered amazing advice for treatment. Set me up with a referral to a dermatologist and had me out of the ER in a very short amount of time compared to other places I have been to. DR. Schroeder is probably the best doctor I have had the good fortune to have met. He really did an amazing job. My prescriptions were sent over to my pharmacy, and the follow up nurse named Riley made sure that I understood the prescriptions as well as listened to me ramble on about owning a Jeep. The first nurse who took me in was amazing, vegetarian and lovely behind her mask. The second nurse was also really kind but I do not remember his name. When I went to leave, finding my way out was made much easier thanks to a nurse with tattoos up her right arm, I did not get her name. I love this place and anyone who says it is terrible, obviously has never been happy a day in their life. This place did an amazing job.

I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes, and finally went to the desk to inquire. She casually said the doctor was running late. (Like, no big deal.) I asked how much longer and she said, "maybe 15 -20 minutes?" Plus the additional time waiting in the exam room... Sorry, busy women (read: ALL WOMEN) do NOT have time to sit around for an hour+ past scheduled-appointment time. And at least have the courtesy to tell us upon arrival if a provider is running late (or could you call or text if she's an hour behind), and gosh, approach us in the waiting room with an apology and update so we can plan accordingly. I had to abandon my appointment. (Women are managing so much these days and when we FINALLY take time to take care of ourselves, please recognize that and help us!) Will not be returning to this clinic.

I was brought to this ER via ambulance while having an extremely bad reaction to THC. I was treated…read morepromptly, however after seeing the Dr it went downhill fast. First, the information they had in their medical records was connected to a Fairview clinic I went to over a decade ago. I gave them the information for Park Nicollet and my current primary physician, but they never updated that information. When I was discharged they instructed me to follow up with the old Fairview physician I haven't seen in over 10 years. Second, I'm diabetic so I take a lot of medication that's closely monitored and has been updated several times in the last 10 years. They not only didn't have an updated list of medications, they didn't even ASK me what I was currently taking. They didn't even ask if I was taking any insulin! This seemed so dangerous and that alone would stop me from ever stepping foot in this hospital again. Third, the Dr only listened to the beginning of my story, made an assumption about what I had ingested without even looking at the information from the label that was sent with me, then just started talking over me without listening to how I was feeling. It turned out he assumed it was something completely different than what it actually was, (synthetic K2 vs. live rosin). It doesn't matter to me in the end because I'm never touching the stuff again, but it would have been appropriate to at least try to be accurate. Finally, it felt like whenever I had a first encounter with someone they were very kind, but then they'd see in my chart that I was there for a "drug overdose" and immediately shift the way they treated me. Like they couldn't take me as seriously, or I had put myself there so I didn't deserve their top level of care. Ultimately I would never go to this hospital again. I tend to avoid the Fairview system in general, but this was a particularly bad experience.

Because flu and upper respiratory infections are down, there was no line. I was checked in, seen, and out of there in 30 minutes. Because of my health insurance they didn't collect a co-pay at that time. I will pay when the bill comes. The nursing staff who treated me were kind, thorough and friendly. This is a very well run Urgent Care. Keep in mind that this can be a VERY busy place on weekends or when regular doctors offices are closed. Be prepared to wait, or ask what the wait time is ahead of time. Treat the staff with care! They are trying to help you!!
