The review Makena A. posted about an assembly being too invested in JROTC and Sports really stung because those classes are really fun and support new learners. Just because we focus more on sports and less on arts doesn't mean we don't care about arts, period. We used to be well known in the state for our athletic teams being very good for many years in a row, and i think we're just craving some of that lost glory back. Also, if you don't like rednecks, DON'T HANG WITH REDNECKS. Honestly, you're acting like being a redneck is bad. Our community is diverse and welcoming of all races, and there has been no bullying or racism that i can see, and certainly none from our more conservative-minded faction of our school. People regularly receive gifts of healing, words of knowledge, and partake in the moving worship services. I remember one time Pastor Russell picked me out of the crowd and read my mail. The Holy Spirit revealed to him a timely, prophetic word that was spot on. I was happy to see Pastor Russell, standing for truth and righteousness in light of the conflicted, damaging, destructive agendas coming against God's people. The P5 teacher Jennifer is exactly the same but hides behind the director. Encouraged my family to seek an IEP solely as a means to kick my kindergarten age daughters out. Tried to circumvent the IEP process by trying to reach out to the care team to gain a recommendation that supported their goal of kicking my kid out. When that failed the principal lied about what the care team recommended. Bullied, harassed, and finally attempted to blackmail my family into voluntarily pulling my kid out in the last few months of the school year. This behavior started escalating the day of our IEP assessment and ended in a forced reduction of service before any accommodation request was made. This was after a glowing assessment of my daughter's growth. When I made a complaint about discrimination against the Preschool Director they declined to investigate without so much as a call to discuss my concerns.
