I could send a real long time here in this thrift shop. They had so many things I wanted to buy or get! I bought Band of Brothers DVD set for $4, old vintage hard cover books from the 1800s for only $1, a marbleized tee, and a red purse for $4. I was very excited to buy the books. Some of them were poems and stories by Edgar Allen Poe or Robert Browning. They are a treasure to me. My friend bought one of the old books there too. She was fascinated by how people wrote and talked back in the 1800s. $1 for antique books - a major steal! So every thrift store I visit, I like to take pictures of angels or signs in the store. Just a little ritual I follow. In this thrift store, I found a black angel. Thrilling! They are rare finds.

Wow! I was so excited to find time while in St Augustine to stop in at this gigantic thrift store. My excitement soon turned to sadness. I am usually not one to leave negative reviews but.. what a terrible attitude the staff had especially the woman at the front door register. The attitude and way she spoke to patrons was unprofessional and frankly just rude. She needs to remember it may be the 1000th time she had answered a question but it is the 1st time that person has asked it. Easy, customer service. I had found a few treasures while shopping but quickly put them down as I did not want to interact with the staff. I will take myself back to Jax Beach where the staff at my local St Vincent Thrift is fun, welcoming and kind.

    Plenty of parking around back!

Dawn M. is right in her review: This place is very organized and that makes for an enjoyable thrifting experience. They have a room full of used furniture and knick knacks to fill your home as well as a separate room for books and clothing. I find more things for my liking up the road at the Alpha-Omega Thrift Store because I'm more into lawn furniture and gardening accessories plus they work better with you on prices. Overall, this is a nice thrift store with ample parking all for a good cause.

Great thrift store! Cheap prices, and a great selection of clothes, furniture, and kitchen things. Would recommend! There is even a section for nicer dresses and clothes that I believe all have tags on, and even wedding dresses. I bought pants for $3 and a sports bra for $3 that are clean and fit well.

Not only do we just love it in general but this place uses their profits to help people in the community that struggle with anything from food to bills to furniture.

I can't wait to go back. I always try to grab what catches my eye, because I made the mistake and second guessed myself. I left the treasure behind, thought about it all night, then went back the next day and it was already gone :(

I had read a lot of negative reviews beforehand but decided to give it a chance anyway. Unfortunately, my experience lived up to those reviews. I encountered multiple rude employees. When I asked a male employee for help, he dismissed me by saying, "I'm busy." At the register, an older white female employee who identified herself as a manager was extremely unprofessional. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it and walked away mid-conversation. She told me that lowering the price would be "taking money away from those who need it," while laughing and chuckling as if this were not a professional work environment. I tried to explain that Goodwill is a nonprofit and that the items are donated to help people in need, but she seemed unwilling or unable to understand that perspective. She refused to adjust the price on donated, used items that were already overpriced. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for someone who genuinely needed affordable household items. I won't be returning, and I hope management takes customer service and professionalism more seriously--especially when serving vulnerable members of the community.

It was my first time going to this new store, but not returning my money because of the girl talking to the other cashier, she rang up items twice, the Manager even said she identifies herself as a male, what in the hell has that do to her mistakes? I will never go there again. Nothing is organized as small, medium, Large or extra large, plus the shoe's are the same way, it takes hours to shop in an unorganized store with stupid rules and managers telling customers about identity like the girl identified as a male, managers should never speak private information about there worker's. Shoes were dirty and expensive, Goodwill was to help poor people, not Rich people. Very disappointed

Staff (the owner & a vendor) were VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. (Be sure to check in to receive 15% off any one item that is not marked "firm.") I purchased mid-century framed art for my home, as well as a stamped, light blue 1960's Santa Anita Ware dish w/ a drip glaze. A friend purchased 1980's framed art as well as gorgeous sterling (925) earrings. Prices were reasonable-- definitely not too high. This appeared to be the case throughout the shoppe even though multiple vendors sell here. A smaller-sized home, it has been converted & wonderfully transformed into a vintage shoppe. Within the six or so rooms, visitors will find vinyl albums; vintage clothing (one full room of it); many jewelry displays for men & woman; dishware & serving pieces; wall art; home decor; lamps; MCM furniture; & much more. Parking spots on busy San Marco Avenue are few & far between, but there is plenty of free parallel parking along the many side streets. (Probably the best parking is directly behind the building.) Best to avoid this area around dinnertime. It took us a great deal of time to leave the crowded area. I suggest visiting @ other times to avoid the heavy traffic. But DO stop in here; it's worth your time! I WILL return the next time I'm in the area.
