We chose Stabella based off of a recommendation from a family friend. Unfortunately our experience wasn't everything we expected it to be. The main issues that we had was that our countertop was cut into two pieces to fit together, which sounded fine. But they cut a straight line instead of the typical angled line that you see. The straight line makes it so much easier to see. AND the worst part is that the color is so off its extremely obvious to see the line. We just feel that an effort to match the colors at the line should have been made. A few minor issues is that the countertops didn't fit the walls because our walls weren't straight. Which of course isn't Stabella's problem, but the sales rep initially told us that if this happened on sight the installers would just cut the wall a little to slide the counter tops in so everything would be flush with the wall. But when the installers got there they said they couldn't do that because the line (where the two pieces were cut and were supposed to meet) wouldn't be flush. We also decided not to get a backsplash because the sales rep talked us into how "new" and "modern" looking it would be. But then when we ran into the problems with the wall not being straight we wish we had just ordered the backsplash to hide the issues in the wall. Once again, that's not Stabella's fault that our wall wasn't straight but we just wish the sales rep had been a little more realistic instead of making everything seem like roses and daisies. In the end this left us feeling dissatisfied because we expected different things based on the initial sales pitch. Going back to the line where the two pieces met and one side was much darker than the other, they told us that the granite cutters were instructed to put the darker piece in be back. So what that told me is that Stabella was 100% aware of the drastic change in color while they were cutting our granite ... And the didn't care or even think that would bother us? They just sent it out to be installed at our house anyways. They offered to have an installer come out and apply a darkening agent to the lighter side..but why wasn't this done when the granite was still in their factory being cut? It would have saved everyone a lot of trouble and things would have been done right in the first place. We declined having them come back out to apply the darkening agent because we were worried it would end up looking worse and then we'd really be screwed. Let me add that after we notified them we were declining their offer to come out and darken the countertops, we NEVER heard from them again. We NEVER at any point in the process heard an apology that we weren't 100% satisfied, they never bothered to reassure us that their work would look great after they applied the darkening agent and they'd really like to make it right...nothing. Long story short, I would never recommend Stabella and we've even gone so far as to give their name to some acquaintances and say they're who we recommend you NOT use. Stabella might get away with taking our money and leaving us dissatisfied, but we'll do our best to keep people we know from using them. read more

DO NOT work with any company that uses Stabella as the supplier for your materials. They DO NOT accept responsibility for their sub-contractors who left our job unfinished. They left deconstruction material all over our kitchen, damaged our window sills, cut the material in the dark so the joints are off.. heights of back splash are off and then they complained they were there too long and had a long drive back. They said we need new back splashes and left WITHOUT attaching the last piece of back splash. Stabella of course that they would take care of it... but we have NEVER heard back from Stabella in any form. This has been over three months. The purchase was through Lowes and Lowes said they have a contract with Stabella so their hands are tied and Lowes has offered us a few dollars to go away so they can close the case. Lowes has been NO better as several corporate personnel at Lowes have promised followup phone calls etc., and NOTHING. The counter top are not joined square... the back splashes are NOT the same height, they recklessly cut our window sills to get a piece to fit and it DID NOT fit anyway. They drilled the hole for the faucet OFF CENTER. The left glue all over our new counter top and back splashes. NEVER and I mean NEVER use a company that uses Stabella to provide the materials. Stabella sub-contracts to the lowest bid for installs... and literally... that is what you receive. We are still waiting since Nov. 1st, 2017 and today is Feb. 13th, 2018 and our job is still NOT finished. read more

I bought my counter tops through Lowe's and they contract with Stabella. The customer service has been a night mare with lack of response from the scheduler named Andrea to the very rude customer service person named Rodney. The came the do the install and then refused because they said the framing was not good enough and the materials were not right. Their contract says nothing about materials. It was my job to give them a frame for the granite. Since I was removing old counter tops the materials were already there. They stated there was a spot from one direction that was not level. I told them I could fix it within 15 minutes, but they wanted me to change all the materials and then lied to Lowe's about what they said. In addition Lowe's was not supportive and took their word over mine as their paying customer. So you might want to reconsider doing business with Lowe's customer service , also. Now I have kitchen that has no counters or plumbing and have to wait a week for them to return. They really do not care about having satisfied customers and don't really deserve any ones business in my opinion. I certainly will not recommend them and I fear for what my counters are going to look like once they do install them after reading so many of the other reviews. What a horrible way to do business? These are not people who are interested in treating people they way they would like to be treated. Think twice before contracting with them. read more

Home Depot contracts with Stabella Inc. to measure, cut and install your purchase granite counter tops. Our dealings with Stabella have been extremely bad because of the lack of communication, customer service and professionalism. Everything has to be scheduled upfront based on Stabella's 2 hour arrival time to install the granite counter tops. Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 was our first scheduled window. The plumber arrived a few hours prior to the granite install to disconnect our kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal and dishwasher. The next day the plumber came to reconnect everything. We called Stabella around 4:15 to see if we were still on schedule for the granite install. Remember our arrival time for Stabella was from 3:00 till 5:00. We found out that one of our granite counter tops had been dropped and broken sometime during the week. We were not notified by anyone at Stabella that a problem had occurred. We asked Stabella why we had not been contacted. The project manager at Stabella answered in a rude tone, "Lady, we've been busy trying to figure out what we're going to do to correct the problem!" A simple phone call from Stabella when the problem occurred would have been the professional way to do business. One and a half days wasted of our time just because Stabella's lack of communication. Two trips by the plumber to disconnect and reconnect our kitchen stuff could have been avoided if Stabella had called us when the problem had occurred. Stabella's manager indicated that the long piece of granite should be seamed. However, the Stabella's employee that did the final measurements for our granite counter tops stated that seaming the granite counter tops would not be necessary. We did not like the idea of our granite being seamed, but had no choice. A recommendation how to fix our problem with the broken granite counter top was made by Stabella. Stabella's recommended they could cut another piece of granite from the remainder piece of granite slab to replace the broken one. Stabella's manager assured us there would be no problem cutting another piece of granite from the original slab that my wife and I had approved prior. Our next scheduled window for the granite install was the following Monday from 12:00 and 2:00. Just like the prior granite install, everything had to be rescheduled with the plumber. My wife called Stabella around 11:00 to see if we were still on schedule for our granite install. Our Stabella's contact asked if anyone had called us about another problem had occurred with our scheduled granite install. No one had called. We found out that there had been a problem during the prior week that the original granite slap was not wide enough to cut an extra granite counter top. A new granite slab was ordered and could be installed the following Monday between 10:00 and 12:00. Please note that Stabella knew about this current problem during the prior week. No communication from Stabella to us, or to Home Depot, that a problem existed affecting our 2nd scheduled granite install. I called our Stabella's contact to find out why we were not contacted about this latest problem. Stabella had no answer. My wife and I did not get a chance to see the new granite slab prior to being cut. Our Stabella's contact said they would email us a photo of the new granite slab on Friday before the scheduled install on Monday. No picture was received by email from Stabella. Not surprised! Don't believe anything Stabella tells you on the phone. The plumber came the next day to reconnect all kitchen plumbing and sink. Finally, the third time our kitchen granite counter tops were installed. Please note three weeks have passed since the initial granite install was scheduled. The plumber arrived prior to the install to disconnect the kitchen sink, and returned the next day to reconnect everything. A total of six plumber visits were required, and four of those were unnecessary because of no communication from Stabella. My wife and I are not happy with the granite counter top seam. The seam on top is rough and very noticeable. The granite installers indicated that Stabella's warranty would not cover any scratches if any attempts to smooth the rough edges were made. No other options were given by Stabella granite installers to fix the rough edges. Please, be very cautious using Stabella to install your granite counter tops. I would not recommend using Stabella to anyone. read more

From the start Stabella has been a joke. We purchased countertops over a month ago and have already paid for them through Home Depot. When they initially came out to measure, the worker was giving us a laundry list of things we needed to do (remove the countertops ourselves, remove the sink, make sure everything is even, install braces for overhang --- wondering why if we were paying all this money, why was it our responsiblity???). They called us to install and were set to come out on a Tuesday. My husband took off the day of work without pay for them to come. They called an hour before they were supposed to be here saying there was a chip or scratch in the granite and they needed to reschedule. After my husband took the day off without work!!!!!! The manager Britt called my husband and made a "special" consideration for the countertop to be installed on Saturday morning at 10:00 am since they do not generally work on Saturdays. It is now Saturday morning and we had not heard a word from Stabella. My husband ripped out the countertops (as it was "our responsiblity to do so or get charged extra") and sink and we do not have a working kitchen. We were not notified at all to let us know that they were not going to show. My husband finally got ahold of Britt who said that the worker "had a family emergency" (we believe this person just did not want to work on a Saturday morning). She said that there is only one worker in Tennessee and they have no one else to do the install. All we heard were excuses and no apologies. Now we sit with no countertops in a kitchen that is nonworking with ZERO customer service from Stabella. This is hands down the WORST customer service we have ever experienced. EVER. Do yourselves a favor and take it from me and the other reviewers who gave them a ONE STAR. Do not use this company, I want to warn others so they don't have to go through what we went through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Our granite tops look great. My only concern is there seems to be a lack of communication between the guys who come out to the house and the ladies I spoke with on the phones. 4 different times we had guys come out to our house (1st: template the counter tops, 2nd: to install tops, 3rd to template our backsplash, 4th: to install the backsplash) each time the guy or group of guys was later than we were told they would be. Once I had to call Stabella because the installer was 1 1/2 hours past our installation window time and they had no idea where the installer was. The only problem we ran into with the tops is that our backsplash is lighter than our countertops. The installers showed us this before putting it in and offered to take the backsplash back and put in a new order, but we looked at it for awhile and thought about it and decided we were ok with the slight color variation. We realize this is granite and there is no guarantee that any backsplash is going to match it 100%. We were worried this would be an issue because when the backsplash template guy came out he asked us if we had a color swatch of the countertop to take back to the shop. I, ofcourse, did not. He said the first group of guys who brought our tops out and put them in were supposed to leave a tiny piece or chip of the slab so the template guy could take it back with him to match. Well-we were not told anything about that. Turns out, the installer guys were not told anything about that either. So we did not have a color swatch for them. But he took a bunch of pictures with his phone in all kinds of lighting to try to capture the color. And I will say, the guy who came out to do our backsplash template was the best. He took so much time making sure the drawing and measurements were right, he was very thorough, and explained everything to me-which was good because we had a tricky set up and a potentially problematic backsplash. And he was very friendly and professional. Also, our seams look AMAZING. You can hardly tell where the seams are. We had to closely inspect it in one area to even see the seams! We were expecting them to be more visible, due to other reviews we have read, but these were STELLAR!!!! read more

Quality of services should matter, but it looks like is does NOT with Stabella = the ONLY designated fabricator/installer for the Silestone of NC quartz countertop products. After, Lowe's signs a contract with you to have someone contact you within 48 hours to measure your countertops - they don't. They just continue to give you the run around, lie about the commitment to get Stabella to contact you and can't even get Stabella to contact them, then you just need to give it up and cancel your order. I suggest, don't get your countertops at Lowe's or Home Depot, as Stabella does ALL the work for both of them in the Charlotte area. Bigger corporate companies does not equate to better service, in fact it equals worse as they are too busy to keep their promises, guarantees or commitments as they state in writing. Suggest MCI products and stay away from the two biggest corporations (Lowe's and Home Depot) for countertops that have the industry locked up tight to run their BIG and already too busy schedule to meet your needs to purchase AND install even a small job. read more
