This was the most horrible buffet/restaurant we have ever been to. We went on a Saturday evening for the "seafood buffet ". Let's just say we were not impressed with how the food looked. So 1 of us got the buffet and 2 of us ordered off the menu. Well, we thought we were ordering off the menu. The waitress informed us that there were only 3 items available to order off the menu. Steak, hamburger steak and chicken tenders because they were short staffed. We ordered our meals and when they came out the waitress only brought each of us 1 of our supposed to be 2 sides. So that was a negative. Now to the buffet. We were informed that there was a limit of 4 oysters per person for the buffet. And, they serve you the food. Don't know if that's a covid thing but it's weird. You walk up to the buffet and they give you what you pick in a styrofoam plate. That's classy. Then when you go up for another plate, they give you your food in a little styrofoam bowl instead of another plate. Like they are limiting you. Then on to the actual food. This was seriously the worst food I have ever put in my mouth. The collards had a taste like they were boiled in bad seafood water, the hush puppies were so greasy they were dripping, the fried shrimp crust was falling off of it and none of it had any seasoning whatsoever. Then to top it off you only get 1 little cup of dessert per person for an all you can eat buffet. The waitress asked us how everything was and if every was good. We said it wasn't and she basically just ignored the fact that we told her it wasn't that good. We will definitely not be going back there ever again. False Advertisement!! Once arriving at restaurant the hostess asked if we would like to eat from the buffett or order from the menu. We advised we would like to order from the buffett. We were served on a paper plate and given old food. Once we noticed the buffett had been replenished with new food we asked the waiter about a new plate. She was advised by the owner only additional vegetables were allowed because a new menu had been added. I opted to speak with the owner on the way out and was advised the cost of food was high and only a limited amount of meat was available. We were never advised that the buffett was being switched over or given the option to wait for fresh food although the owner actually fixed the plate. Instead we were given scraps and then offered the option to pay additional money to order from the menu. I will never patronize this restaurant again. I would also advise anyone else to take your business elsewhere!! read more

I came with a group on our way to a winery. The food here is really good, especially the peach cobbler. It was so warm and good. The rice was a little cold but they had fried and baked chicken along with fried porkchops which were pretty thick. You do have the option to either a buffet or from their menu. The price is very decent which are about $10 or less. The service was just great. The ladies there are just so friendly and to your service whenever you need them. They are just the best. It's a cute quiet little area with an old country kind of feel. Very historical with all pictures and art. Very homey and kid friendly too. read more

Ah, what more could I say about this place. My friend recommended us coming here to eat for Sunday brunch, man was I glad we did. Before you even walk in you can tell you're in for a treat. The building made me feel like I was thrown head first into a bad John Wayne movie. The photo op outside the door was a cool touch. I appreciate a restaurant that serves homemade food and still keeps their humility. They really do a good job making you feel right at home. It wasnt too packed you feel uncomfortable but enough of a crowd to where you feel you are included in something special. Never in my life have I been to a restaurant where they bring in a piano player, aces! Now for the food, my God the food, delicious. Roast beef fit into a buffet style meal? Hell yeah! Im always a sucker for tasty ham so I pounced on it first chance. My only regret was not trying the cream corn since I have a special place for it. The chicken was wonderful and crispy just to my liking. And for the dessert, whoa! The apple cobbler made me believe nothing else at that point in time mattered, it definately caught me off guard in the most pleasant way possible. Their strawberry cake was pretty nice too with the perfect icing to top it off. If I could think of a place to drive out of my way for Stagecoach Cafe would be first on my list for good reason. read more

We never have a clue how we stumble upon places like this. There's nothing like good ole southern cuisine. We discovered this place while looking for breakfast on our way back from Mobile and I must say they didn't disappoint. The food was amazing. I had an egg, grits, & made from scratch biscuits. These were nothing like your store bought biscuits, they were almost cornbread texture. They were amazing & then I tried my coworkers pancakes & they were the way my good ole aunt cooked them in skillet of crisco. It had that crispy feel on the outside and warm soft feel in the inside! The first time a restaurant has made those type of pancakes like that from my experiences. An extremely delicious place. We'll be back next year & the prices are low! read more

Parking lot was full - always a good sign! I try to eat at establishments that locals frequent. Sunday buffet was plentiful, well presented and tasted good. Home style country cooking - roast, rice & gravy, fried potatoes, Mac n cheese, green beans and purple hull peas. Fried chicken, broccoli n cheese, shrimp n grits. Desserts like peach cobbler w vanilla ice cream, buttermilk pie, cakes, and banana pudding (not as good as mine frankly but that's a personal opinion!) You won't be hungry when you leave! $12.50 per person all you can eat. Good service and a sweet little older lady played hymns on the keyboard.
