Every wall (and even right outside the establishment) is lined with TVs all playing different sports and music videos with a huge focus on 80's music (perfect for the Gen X-ers who seem to frequent here). Upon entering, we seated ourselves at a corner booth and a few minutes later did a nice lady provide us with menus. The SO had ran to the restroom and the nice lady asked me at the table if we wanted to order drinks. She upsold a rum and coke (the SO's favorite) not because she had asked the SO on his way to the restroom like I had thought, but because they have a happy hour special on them and a few other drinks. What a coincidence! The special was $5 for certain drinks between 2-7PM. The nice lady also tried upselling me to get a drink for myself. I feel like after saying no the first time, she shouldn't have pushed with an "are you sure?" two times after. We ended up ordering: Onion rings - great fry and crisp batter. One of the reasons I chose to come here. Mac and Smash burger with side salad - uses Kraft mac-n-cheese type noodles that were a little bland. But with everything put together (pepper jack, fried onion strings, and chipotle sauce), the burger was delicious. SO was impressed with the side salad lol It wasn't a basic garden-type, but more spinach, cucumber, cheese, croutons, etc. PB&J Protein Power burger with sidewinder fries - double patty made this reaaaal meaty. There was a subtle pb&j flavor which was nice, but wish it had more. Sidewinder fries were like the jojo's version of curly fries - thick and potato-y. All portions were big and I thought proportional to the price (esp in this economy). What soured our meal was when we received the bill. There were two line items for +$0.75 for cheddar cheese. I spoke with our nice lady server and she said that it was because we got cheese on our burgers... *question marks??* 1. The item description for both our burgers already include cheese 2. We didn't ask to sub any type of, or add more cheese 3. If we were going to be charged for cheese, we weren't prompted about it beforehand. We didn't get the charges taken off until after these 3 statements were made. I get it, $1.50 isn't much but it's the principle of sneaking in $1-2 for something we didn't ask for. It makes me think they do this often at the expense of patrons under the influence. Just a warning for future customers, double check your bill!!

Very scary place where there is only one toilet for the men and only one for the woman. Also the glass on the womans bathroom is door is clear and one can see right in. where urine is on the floor of the men's room and I was invited to leave for complaining about it. With over 100 people in the club folks urinate outside along the wall. Also it seems to be a place where people display nice cars "out the back" such as fine roadsters or other well detailed cars and motor cycles as status symbols. Also a place one can watch women urinate along the wall at the same time they are admiring those fine motor vehicles on the "Party nights" . I am aware that Methamphetamine is easy to obtain at Staley's so you can score there as well "score" Drugs there but you will find the dealers are working from the bar more than out the back.. Those are the suppliers for the most part. Several woman seemed to be working out of there as well I noticed when I was there on one occasion. I have visited4 times in 8 years. This last visit I was too intimidated to finish my beer. I asked for the urine to be cleaned up in the men's room as I worried that I would get it soaked into my pants as I used the toilet and was treated rudely by the staff. When I asked why they didn't have a proper bathroom I was told to mind my own business. It's obvious that profits are being made there. It's obvious also that if one is "Red-neck and threatening that, that is what the bar tender allows as a cultural norm as well. I am leaving this as a warning. A gay man or any one targeted as unacceptable could be attacked there easy. I am not Gay but I consider myself educated and informed of current events. I felt threatened. Again Be warned it is not a place of safety for the average person. read more

Literally the shittiest bar I've ever been to! Upon entering this shit hole, the aroma of stale fromunda cheese and bounce dat ass fills your nose, I instantly started to gag! My sister was harassed by a member of the Aryan Brotherhood for sitting in his assigned seat, and management allowed this to happen. If you like being harassed by the kkk this place is for you! Also, there were people smoking meth in the back booth, real classy!!!! Also saw a roach run across the bar top. Is this place up to par with the health standards? I highly doubt it. Went to donobys in Modesto after and had a great time! They have the most lovely staff and security. I recommend taking the drive to Modesto and checking out their bars, unless you are a member of the aryan brotherhood then Staley's is for you. read more

a single bartender Brandon was a really bubbly and witty young man who was also really nice. When I travel abroad, having such wonderful bartenders makes me feel so welcome. Another thing, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. While I was in Turlock, a staff member treated me rather disrespectfully. When she started serving us, she was quite disrespectful and practically threw the drink at me when I lifted my hand to show her where my table was set up. I'm fairly sure her name was Vanessa, and she could see that I was with my guy partner and I assume didn't like my sexual orientation. read more

Clearly the bartender found it to be a problem that a Mexican was at this bar. Never have I felt so discriminated in my life!
