Affordable great tasting drinks, small place though. I felt out of place however. I walked into country music, which I'm not a fan of. Most people I saw where of one skin color (no offense intended) (light skin). I went on a Saturday. Obviously, it would be crowded on weekends. First off, Staley's club is not a club in the sense of going to a place with disco balls dj's and dancing. Appearance wise it's what you expect from a regular bar. Darkened lighting booths and a bar some tv' s and guys chattering saying things like "...Nul and Void"! People watching and convo listening was fun. But I saw no bartender. Finally a lady came from a back room behind me. She walked behind the bar. I waited 15 min. No one came to take my order. She seemed to be by herself and overwhelmed. I left. Do not Trust!~I was coming from out of town, so I wanted to know if on a weekday if it was going to be busy being that it was my girls birthday on a Tuesday night, wow, I was told it was busy and will be all night, when we get there at 10 pm, no one there literally like one person or so. We end up staying anyways, I asked, hey, I called you told me it was busy what happened? she says ohh they all come later again this is a Tuesday night, well later never happened, we left around 1 am and still no one else came, so moral of the story is you will be LIED to if you come here and you cannot trust anything they say. read more

So, I have a major complaint! I got lied to, when I asked if it was going to be a busy night since it was a weekday, I was told it always is busy and when I showed up, came from out of town that is, there was literally like no one there, when I asked what happened with the busy night like the employee said, she said ohh they come later, we got there about 10:15 pm stayed until 1 am and no one still showed up, so it never got busy like she said, so I do not recommend this place if dishonesty is part of their service!!! I understand it may get busy on weekends, but weekdays deader than a door knob, do not get your hopes up!!! read more

I'm sorry to say this place is a dive. Looks like it was decorated in 1972. The bathroom probably hasn't been cleaned since then either. Strictly for local barflies and underachievers. If you are visiting Turlock from out of town, you'll want to avoid! read more

Always great service even when it's packed. As a traveler we like to go to the local "dive bars" to meet locals and find out what is what in our new town. The bartender Jeniffer is always a favorite when we visit. She makes excellent drinks and even after noticing regulars, she takes care of us all equally and charges us the same appropriate amount that she charges them, no favoritism. It's pretty great to see the bartenders (2) handle a crowd easily on Fridays that in bigger city's we have visited take twice the staff to handle. The bar back/security guy Raymond is friendly and always working hard, handles situations quickly and appropriately. After visiting a few posh bars in town and receiving crappy service despite the nice decor or ambience we have found Staley's to be a place that we will frequent. We even noticed staff from other bars coming here when they are off. Don't expect posh decor but with the touch tunes and great staff, you can be content. read more

i must say Staleys is probably one of the funnest bars i have been to, the drinks are amazing and the crowd is lively and up-beat. Sure the bathrooms are not the cleanest but hey, its a bar, what do you expect?? red carpet and a rich old man to wipe your ass for you? get a grip.. If you go there during the day its probably going to be the regular bar crowd of older men hanging out telling past stoires. During a weekend night its packed in there, and the music is loud, just what most people want in a bar, i have never seen meth being sold in this bar in my life, according to the other post they say this bar is a dirt hole...well i think they are stuck up bitches that expect alot out of a small town that is full of tweakers, and drug dealers.. bar bathrooms are NOT clean and staleys is knon for it, at least its not full of roaches like Al's down the road, Wellington is full of loose wallets, loose women, and your feet stick to the carpet like a dirty hotel room..people need to understand Turlock is NOT Las Vegas or a rich place at all, its a little bar with alot of fun to be had. The bartenders are very nice, except for one or two, but i wasnt there on a weekend night, everytime i go on the weekends they are very nice and make great drinks. Overall Staleys is an amazing place and i love it, pull the stick out of your ass, loosen up and have some fun!!! read more
