I would give them negative if I had that option. We had engaged them to do our appliance installation - Sub Zero/Wolf/Cove. The reason why we engaged them is they are supposed to be "certified". They send us bills for installing the washer dryer that were not in the contract. And that too more than 300% above the normal charges from other installers. $125 for a hose which is less than $10 at Home Depot and many more...I paid them more than the normal rates. They made excuses to leave the site and sent us bill for that too. Within a month, we noticed that our Cove dishwasher moved back and the racks were sliding out. When asked they said they cannot come unless we pay as per their rates for the washer dryer. We noticed that they had not screwed the dishwasher to the cabinets. Their quality of work is sub par. Not sure how they are certified. They did not even register our products. Finally our dealer agreed to register them. Stay away from them. Their work is a piece of crap. Not recommended at all !! read more

We worked with several contractors over the course of our remodeling, and this company was an absolute nightmare. Don't expect Matt to be responsive, or respect your time. He came over after a long long time only to tell us that he doesn't have the right tool to install our hood, and he would come back in few weeks! and yet he asked for $2500 for hooking up a fridge and a dishwasher. They installed a new oven where the old one was completely out of code and they brought it up to code quickly. The installation went very fast and very well. Matt and his crew were fantastic. Our fridge was behind construction top (crown molding) and bottom (new flooring over the old). They were innovative in getting the old one out and managed to get the new one in unscathed. They were fast, affordable but most of all very careful and competent. I highly recommend them! read more

Joe and AJ of Stalie Construction did an amazing job installing the cooktop that I purchased from University Electric. They were experienced, knowledgeable, careful, and respectful. I really appreciated how they cleaned the grime on the counter from under the old cooktop before dropping in the new one; many installers would have just covered up the old dirt. Every installation is different with its own minor or major challenges, and mine was no exception. They worked around the slightly smaller new cooktop by using the chrome ring from the original cooktop; showing me how it would look and confirming that the look was okay with me. The new cooktop looks and works great and is well-secured. They left my kitchen clean. I would definitely recommend Stalie Construction for appliance installation. read more

Had a dishwasher installed today which I bought at Lowe's. These guys are the company that installs for Lowe's. I had the worst experience ever! And would not wish the same experience on anyone. They gave themselves a 2 1/2 hour time window to arrive. They came late and did not call about it beforehand. The installer was rude and nasty, apparently simply because I called/texted them to ask where they were. One of the two installers was so nasty I told him to get out! The other guy, his junior, was very professional. The job was simple and otherwise done quickly. read more

They came out to install a dishwasher. They didn't level it. The top protruded and inch past the insert and 1 1/2 inches at the bottom instead of being flush. I told them i wanted to be able to pull the dishwasher out far enough to get behind it if necessary - the install does not let me get behind the dishwasher. They said I needed an airgap hose, installed it and charged me $50. The cost of the hose is about $5 and takes a couple of minutes to install. When I called the owner he justified the cost because it would have cost me more if I called in a plumber to install the hose. DUH! - his crew was already there, and I'd saved them a lot of time by uninstalling my old dishwasher. He did offer to send his crew back to fix the problems but I told him I didn't want his amateurs back in my house. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Technicians who came out were very rude and unprofessional. They complained that our old unit was "too bulky" for removal. They complained when they had to do a little extra work to make the new unit compatible (which we were charged $165 more for). They even had the audacity to call Sears on speakerphone in the middle of the installation, and complete the customer service evaluation survey THEMSELVES...they of course gave themselves 5 out of 5 scores in every possible category. We have never experienced a grown man complaining about having to install an appliance, WHEN HIS JOB IS TO INSTALL APPLIANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was terrible. I was so worried after reading 3 bad reviews out of 5. I am so glad that they all turned out wrong. Jeff called us a day before the installation and patiently answered all our queries. He called in within 4 hour window, reached in time, performed microwave installation in an hour, cleaned up all the area. He was very polite and very professional. Stalie was recommended to us by Pacific Sales for appliance installation. They not only charged us a few hundred dollars just to take things out of boxes and plug them in, but they charged us a $50 cancellation fee because they claimed our cabinet did not allow installation of our microwave and oven, which I later found out not to be true. Additionally they did not complete the hook ups for the dishwasher (and punted it to my GC who charged me a change order) or reinstall the brackets around my wine fridge for support (which also cost me more). All they wanted to do was plug in appliances for hundreds of dollars and move on without any effort. Horrible service. read more

Cody, their tech, came and did a super job installing our Wolf range. He was very polite and tidy. He cautioned me to remove some of the counter top jars in case the debris from his sawing would fly onto them. He stepped back and allowed me to look at what he was doing and to allow me to clean/remove any oil buildup in the back of the cabinets before he installed the new range. At the end, he carefully vacuumed up all the debris from his sawing, drilling, and cutting. He was professional as well as patient throughout the whole installation. I will definitely go with Stalie Construction again the next time I need to install an appliance in my home. read more
