Wow- Stan & Paul's are geniuses! I appreciate how when I called to request a home visit to fix my dishwasher that they took time to troubleshoot on the phone a helped me fix my dishwasher for free! Then the staff went through troubleshooting and preventative measures to keep it running well. I will definitely call them in the future. Bought a washer and dryer after fourteen months the dryer gave me trouble in October its now December and the dryer isn't fixed and I have water damage because the repair techs from GE came out and disconnect my return hose to the washer so my kitchen floor was flooded, Stan and Paul's didn't try to help, it once was a reputable company, but not any more. they advertise as a sale and service company but they are not. read more

Don't waste your time!! Bought an expensive washing machine...9 months in stopped working..call for service .they don't handle it. Had to call another number.. service man came 4 times before it was fixex..took 2 months before it was fixed...one month later it stopped working again..now out of warranty and have to pay for someone to come fix!! after purchasing a five burner two drawer oven and a fridge as well as a washer and dryer which were I thought quality items have all had to be replaced. being told by the repair man it is not worth investing in a good oven or refrigerator as they are made cheaply and cost more to fix than replace. I thought we would have these pieces for an extended amount of time. i was never going to say anything but recently the refrigerator had the problem and again another replacement. after being installed a brand new refrigerator freezer decided to have all kinds of fris inside as the door was not properly installed. I have recommended this business to others and another well known business purchased from them as well per my recommendation. ot a thank you not anything to try and remedy this issue . two washer and dryers two ovens and two refrigerators in less than ten years. with three adults and one who travels quite a lot so is hardly ever there. beyond disappointing. I needed a refrigerator in an emergency and had to call and order one sight unseen. I choose to go to Stan and Paul's because I had used them before and like the idea of having a knowledgeable person to talk to especially since I didn't have time to go in the showroom. I was very happy with their customer service . I ordered a suite of Whirlpool appliances August 30 2020. I was told they would be in at the beginning of December 2020. The range and electric dryer were the only ones in stock. January 2021 my contractor told me to have the appliances at the house. The fridge, I cancelled the order and got the same make and model at Best Buy. The washer and dryer were switched out for the same make, different model at Stan an Paul's. The range is the only piece that I ordered and received. Oh yes, the dishwasher, I still am waiting....35 weeks after the order was placed. They blame Covid. So if you order from this VENDOR, MAKE sure the items are in stock or go somewhere else. read more

We were concerned about the poor rating on Yelp but decided to give it a try as we had such positive experience last year when we bought the refrigerator. We are so glad we did. The sales guy was super knowledgeable and gave us a price that's lower than Bestbuy and Lowe's. What we are most impressed with was the delivery. They had to take two doors off to move the dryer into the laundry room. With two people carrying the dryer on large belts, the dryer never touched the floor until it got to the laundry room. When it was all set up, they ran the dryer for twenty minutes to get rid off the smell. They put the doors and furniture back as if they were moved. Great experience with Stan & Paul's. I knew the model of dishwasher I wanted, saw it on their website and corresponded with a salesman via email to work out details. Their website is very nice. Had to go into store to finish details and their showroom needs to be updated. Had I been trying to purchase a dishwasher by visiting brick and mortar stores, I might have been offput by the run down sales floor. Install price was much better than the big box stores and the process was handled by the same person instead of different delivery/install people. Overall, good experience. read more

So I bought a top of the line washer/dryer 2 years ago. Well the lint filter snapped in half. Went online to the Electrolux site and they wanted 90.00 for that curved piece of plastic with a screen. Called Stan and Pauls where I bought it and they said they would try to find it cheaper and order it for me. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick it up and they told me NO CHARGE!!! I've been buying from Stan and Paul's for 30 years. They have always been knowledgeable about their appliances, as well courteous. They are outstanding in placing the satisfaction of their customers above all else. You don't need to wait for a "sale" to get the best price because even if you find a lower price they will match it. In searching for a new dishwasher I found their price was the best from the "big box" stores. Their price was actually $200 less than the online price for the same model. They service their appliances themselves and have a large inventory of parts. Buying local is a preference for me, but with them you also get the best price and the best service. The business was founded in 1955 and is still family owned and operated. The building is also original to that time and it could be overlooked from the road. But that would be a mistake. read more

Went there on their"BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL " HA!! what a joke! Was looking at the dishwashers for sale and it specifically reads across the full color brochure, basic dishwasher installation free. When I mentioned it to the owner he says" oh no that's a mistake, dishwasher installation is 215$ by our plumber". What?? He then states your the only one to complain this week about that. Stan & Paul's was recommended to me by a co-worker after I expressed how frustrated I was with previous repairs from another location. I couldn't have been more pleased. When I called to describe what my problem was (fridge), the woman on the phone knew exactly what I was talking about and exactly how to fix it. The repair technician who came to repair the fridge was on time and extremely friendly. Most importantly, he was very knowledgeable and took his time to try to figure out what the problem was. I purchased a new GE air conditioner from Stan & Paul's in June of 2012 and used the air condition for three months. A couple of days after the purchase I called Stan and Paul's to report an issue about the air conditioner never turning back on when it was on energy saver. I spoke with different individuals and explained my problem. When an air condition is on cool the condenser turns off when the temperature is set and the fan remains on while in energy saver the fan and condenser turns off. In both modes the air conditioner should turn back on when the temperature is a few degrees outside the set temperature. Apparently no one at Stan and Paul's knew how an air condition operates. I kept telling them my air conditioner was defective but they said that's how the GE air conditioners operate as they never turn back on when the temperature is set when in energy saver mode. I gave up trying to explain my rational since the employees at Stan & Paul's seem incompetent. In May of 2013 I installed the air conditioner and noticed no cold air was blowing from the air condition. I call Stan & Paul's to report the issue along with the other issue I had the previous year since the air conditioner is still under warranty. They stated I had to call the repair shop and provided the phone number. I stated that since the air conditioner was under warranty and had reported an issue the previous year if they could just return the air conditioner back to GE and provide me a new air conditioner since the weather was hot and I needed an air conditioner. They said they could not do that as the warranty was for repairs. Well come to find out the repair shop was another business that does repairs for Stan & Paul's (Note: if you need repairs do not go there since they don't do their own repairs and make a commission off someone else's repairs). When the technician came by my house they determined the cause was the condenser had failed and the air conditioner would have to go back to the shop for repair. The technician advised to call Stan & Paul's to see what they would be able to do; so I did. Well the result of my conversation with the owner/manager/whatever his role is was a waste of my time. He stated there was nothing he could do and he wished they could since they are the best at servicing customers' in southeastern Massachusetts; yada yada yada. He said if they had an air conditioner available he would let me use it until the repairs were completed. Well about half an hour later I had my wife call to see if they had any air conditioners and he provided a list and my wife responded back by saying you told my husband that you have no air conditioners available. If you want to be the best at customer servicing and want repeated business you would have taken a new air conditioner out of the box and set it aside for use when needed by a customer. In my book you are the worst business I have done business with. I should have gone to a major store where they really take care of their customers'. If I had bought my air conditioner from Home Depot or Lowes I would have exchanged it with no questions asked. I was one for shopping at small businesses to keep people and their companies going but the aggravation and frustration is not worth it! My suggestion is do NOT shop at Stan & Paul's so you will not have to go through what I'm going through now. As another note: Stan & Paul's should have referred me to a certified GE repair facility and apparently they did not. I also reported this to GE and hopefully GE will drop them from their list of certified distributors. read more

I know I can go to Stan & Pauls for the quality parts needed to fix my appliances fast and priced right. The big box stores don't have my business when I need a new appliance. I purchased a dryer from Stan and Pauls. When they delivered and installed the dryer, the installer told us he was going to leave the dryer venting we had in place because "our stuff was better than the stuff he had". Six weeks later the dryer was taking two cycles to dry a normal load. We called Stan and Paul's to come and take a look. We were told when we purchased the dryer, that it was covered for one year parts and labor. Stan and Pauls website also says it has in house service on all appliances accept built-in appliances, which are contracted out. The gentleman that arrived at our house was a contract company. He then charged us 83 dollars to replace the vent that was clogged. (The vent that was included at installation but was not used because our stuff was better). The 83 dollars was not for parts or labor, it was for the technician to show up at the house. We called Stan and Paul's, they would not reimburse us the money, but instead extended our warranty from 1 year to 4 years. We went to Stan and Paul's to support local business but it is now obvious we should have gone to a box store (Lowes, Sears, or Home Depot) Very disappointed read more
