I wasn't particularly impressed with the website but since the reviews were good I thought I'd give them a chance. This place exceeded my wildest expectations! First of all, I love that it is a family owned business. There are two brothers that own and operate the place. I worked with Brahim on the design of my custom engagement ring. I had been shopping with my girlfriend a few places but she could never seem to find a ring that she totally loved. I went to Brahim with a number of ideas for what I wanted to include in a ring. Brahim was completely professional as he worked with the ideas that I wanted creating sketches and even offering a few ideas for stuff that I hadn't even thought of. He also wasn't pushy about me getting anything too expensive and even suggested that if I wanted to buy the diamond from someone else and bring it to him that would be fine. He's not in the diamond business but did a search for me and in the end actually found a perfect diamond at a great price from someone he knew in the industry. Not to mention the fact that his prices are extremely fair! Having looked at plenty of ring settings and prices his quote was almost equivalent to those at other places that aren't custom made! Once we had agreed on a design in just 3 weeks he was done! The ring came out absolutely perfect and exactly as he had described it would. He actually ended up adding 4 extra diamonds in the band and he didn't even charge me extra for them! Not to mention, every time I went back to him he would even remember my name. Needless to say my fiancé completely loved the ring! She said it was the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. I have already recommended Brahim to a friend who's getting engaged soon and would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the market for custom jewelry. Brahim was an absolute pleasure to work for, guarantees all his work at no extra charge and delivers nothing but quality product. 5 Stars! UPDATE: I can't say enough good things about this company. They do things the old fashioned way, completely by hand, and they stand by their work. The best customer service I have ever seen. I bought my wife's custom engagement ring from Brahim back in 2012. Fast forward a few years, my wife found that the ring just didn't fit as well as it used to (she lost some weight). I dropped by Brahim's shop and he bent over backwards to make it right. First he added a couple gold beads inside the band (per our our request) to try and make it smaller without a full resize. Unfortunately that didn't quite do it for my wife so we went back. Brahim offered to do a full resize...no questions asked! Now the ring fits beautifully! We went in the weekend before Thanksgiving and he had it ready 4 days later! Awesome service! All I can say is that I was pretty distraught at the time because I never thought that I would be able to replace it exactly. Then I remembered great experience I had A few years ago when I had to resize some jewelry at this jewelry store. Luckily, my wife's rang was the same as mine so we took a few pictures And sent them to this jeweler and magically they were able to replace the ring with an even better model. All I can say is there is one word that tells all about this jeweler and that word is quality. All I can say is the ring that they made for me is better than the original and when they say they make custom jewelry, they don't just make regular custom jewelry. I felt like I got a great deal. The one star is for the absolutely horrendous customer service from the owner, Donna DePrisco. After purchasing the ring and taking all of the paperwork with me, DePrisco's then mailed a second copy of my receipt to my home in an envelope labeled with their name and logo. My fiancé just so happened to retrieve the mail that day, and instantly knew what was up, spoiling the surprise and the biggest moment of my life. When I called the store to ask why on earth they would mail something to my home, knowing I lived with my fiancé, I was told "you forgot your receipt," which was not the case. Even if it were, they had my cell phone & email AND knew I was coming back a week later to pick it up. I spoke to Donna on the phone, who was very apologetic at the time and promised me she would take a good amount of money off the sale price and give me an additional gift to make up for the mistake. When I returned to pick up the ring, Donna conveniently had to "take a phone call" and avoided me the entire time. I was given no discount and no gift to make up for the mishap, despite being promised both by Donna. When I brought this up to other employees, they said there was nothing they could do unless Donna approved it herself. But she never got off the phone. I was in the store for close to an hour and she was in a back room taking a fake phone call the entire time. I returned a few weeks later with my fiancé to get the ring re-sized. The second I walked in I made eye contact with Donna, who once again took out her phone and pretended to be on a call the entire time we were there. We again brought up the mishap and asked for a gift or some kind of compensation in return. The employee said the best she could do was offer a pair of fake pearl earrings (valued at $40) to make up for everything. We reluctantly accepted, despite the fact that my fiancé does not wear pearls and did not want the earrings. We are still very happy with the ring itself, but will never ever be returning to DePriscos for anything simply because of Donna. Im still upset that they ruined the biggest moment of my life and did not do anything to make up for it, despite promising me they would. Be careful with this place -- Donna is a snake and will do anything for a dollar.

We had Skylight Jewelers recommended by a local Facebook group when we asked around about a local…read morejeweler for an engagement ring, and we are thrilled with how everything went. My fiancé proposed without a long-term ring, since I wasn't sure exactly what style I wanted. We gathered a few pictures for inspiration and met with Spencer at Skylight Jewelers to create a custom design. We iterated a bit with him on the CAD model before finalizing everything and having it cast. We had Spencer purchase a lab diamond for the gemstone, and he helped us through the process on deciding between natural vs lab and the criteria for stone quality (which neither I nor my fiancé were familiar with). Everything turned out better than we could have hoped! My fiancé and I still think the ring is so pretty and is exactly what I wanted. Spencer and Eugene also worked with us on a couple follow up visits to resize the engagement ring so that it fit just right. As our wedding date got closer, we went back for wedding bands and the process was just as easy. We chose very plain band styles that Spencer cast in the correct size for both of us.
