All I can say is that I was pretty distraught at the time because I never thought that I would be able to replace it exactly. Luckily, my wife's rang was the same as mine so we took a few pictures And sent them to this jeweler and magically they were able to replace the ring with an even better model. Knocked the row 70% or so back into place and then proceeded to shave off so much gold that the edges on my finger are not longer sharp and defined. The band is considerably thinner.
