The most spectacular engagement ring I have ever seen!!! I found this place while doing a google search for places around the Burlington area that did custom jewelry. I wasn't particularly impressed with the website but since the reviews were good I thought I'd give them a chance. This place exceeded my wildest expectations! First of all, I love that it is a family owned business. There are two brothers that own and operate the place. I worked with Brahim on the design of my custom engagement ring. I had been shopping with my girlfriend a few places but she could never seem to find a ring that she totally loved. I went to Brahim with a number of ideas for what I wanted to include in a ring. Brahim was completely professional as he worked with the ideas that I wanted creating sketches and even offering a few ideas for stuff that I hadn't even thought of. He also wasn't pushy about me getting anything too expensive and even suggested that if I wanted to buy the diamond from someone else and bring it to him that would be fine. He's not in the diamond business but did a search for me and in the end actually found a perfect diamond at a great price from someone he knew in the industry. Not to mention the fact that his prices are extremely fair! Having looked at plenty of ring settings and prices his quote was almost equivalent to those at other places that aren't custom made! Once we had agreed on a design in just 3 weeks he was done! The ring came out absolutely perfect and exactly as he had described it would. He actually ended up adding 4 extra diamonds in the band and he didn't even charge me extra for them! Not to mention, every time I went back to him he would even remember my name. Needless to say my fiancé completely loved the ring! She said it was the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. I have already recommended Brahim to a friend who's getting engaged soon and would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the market for custom jewelry. Brahim was an absolute pleasure to work for, guarantees all his work at no extra charge and delivers nothing but quality product. 5 Stars! UPDATE: I can't say enough good things about this company. They do things the old fashioned way, completely by hand, and they stand by their work. The best customer service I have ever seen. I bought my wife's custom engagement ring from Brahim back in 2012. Fast forward a few years, my wife found that the ring just didn't fit as well as it used to (she lost some weight). I dropped by Brahim's shop and he bent over backwards to make it right. First he added a couple gold beads inside the band (per our our request) to try and make it smaller without a full resize. Unfortunately that didn't quite do it for my wife so we went back. Brahim offered to do a full resize...no questions asked! Now the ring fits beautifully! We went in the weekend before Thanksgiving and he had it ready 4 days later! Awesome service! just now New Recently, I lost my wedding ring which had never come off my finger since the day I was married In June of 1989. All I can say is that I was pretty distraught at the time because I never thought that I would be able to replace it exactly. Then I remembered great experience I had A few years ago when I had to resize some jewelry at this jewelry store. Luckily, my wife's rang was the same as mine so we took a few pictures And sent them to this jeweler and magically they were able to replace the ring with an even better model. All I can say is there is one word that tells all about this jeweler and that word is quality. I have had continuing issues with poor communication - calls and texts not being returned, prices not being provided, etc. It hasn't been just once or twice and it's unprofessional and uncomfortable to have multiple pieces of jewelry there and no one replying. Over a week ago I received apologies but it is still happening. It only takes a few minutes to reply - saying you are busy is not an acceptable excuse. Additionally, one item was not completely repaired the first time. Frustrating. It's disappointing to read good reviews and have this kind of experience. With a combination of his expert advice and my drawings, we came up with a totally new setting that enhances the ruby beautifully. I brought in an antique family ring i wanted repaired and resized. I had brought it to several jewlers all over the Boston area, who did not want to work on it (one even tried to tell me it was not gold, but was junk). I normally only leave reviews if I either had a really bad experience or if I had an extraordinary experience. In this case, it was an absolutely extraordinary experience. I was originally recommended by my brother who previously went to Brahim's Jewelry to get his wife's engagement ring and was very impressed by the work they did so I wanted to see what they can do for me. Brahim was friendly with all our questions and has some beautifully designed jewelry. My wife and I paid for three rings to be resized. Brahim's Jewelry is a little more expensive than the jeweler in our town, but he doesn't "nickel and dime" with extra charges. For example, he removed a guard from a fourth ring for free and then it for fine. He cleaned all four rings for free, including polishing as appropriate. His resizing work was so good that the gap cannot be seen and the rings ended up round. He could tell that one ring had been resized, even though that had been done years ago by the manufacturer. I had a random arrowhead stone from a trip to Mongolia, and thought that it would make a good pendant for my girlfriend if it could be set well. I went in with no real ideas on how it should go, they drew out a few options on the counter right there. Then picking a basic design, I let them have some leeway and they came up with an extremely original piece that she loves, improving on the sketch we worked out originally. Couldn't be happier with it. The people are friendly and straight forward, though I did need to bargain a little up front on the chain (which is the only reason they are not a 5 on my review). That said, the end price was perfectly reasonable. Not cheap, but right where I would expect to pay for custom jewelry. They didn't add any costs to the agreement even with the additions (including a small diamond), so take them at their word. read more

My fiance and I have worked with Brahim on several rings for our wedding, including my engagement ring, both our wedding bands, re-sizing a ring, and setting a new stone, which Brahim found for us, into an old setting. When we received our wedding bands, he even already had the appraisal documents written up for us, which was helpful. An update from 2 years ago...I now have a new Tag men's diamond 200-meter water resistant watch that needed a battery and have the links taken out. Without hesitation, I drove 1hr from my workplace so that Brahim can work on my precious watch. I recently received an engagement ring that came from Brahim's Jewelers. It is gorgeous - most of their jewelry is custom made, and you won't find anyone else that has your ring. What beautiful craftsmanship. It is a truly unique ring and was a very thoughtful gift. Brahim's was very helpful when I needed it re-sized and it was ready for pick up in only a few hours. They also helped me pick out a chain to wear it on (I wear gloves a lot at work...) and reminded me that any time I wanted I could bring it to them and they would professionally clean it for me. They are very friendly and their service is great. Due to the custom nature of their work, they told us that when we were ready for wedding rings, we could go to them and they would sketch up several bands that would match my custom engagement ring and we could discuss how we wanted it made. Brahim has just updated his website, and it's a huge improvement. However, you will still need to visit the shop in Burlington to really get a sense for Brahim and his brother Salah. Make sure to check the hours - they are sometimes closed for an hour at lunchtime. They put their time and talents into their jewelry, and that's a good thing. When I walked in last year looking for an engagement ring, I think it may have been their first same-sex couple. They were welcoming, kind and courteous, asking all the standard questions about the engagement - does she know, will it be a surprise, etc. They accommodated my request to make the ring from palladium, even though that is not one of their typical metals. Brahim made a custom ring for my wife, which allows her to wear gloves for work and not rip them or have to take off her ring. He talked with me a long time about design ideas, and had me draw pictures when I couldn't express myself clearly - much easier! My timeframe for talking to them was between the Christmas holidays and Valentine's day, so they had tons of work. They didn't meet all the deadlines, but they knew that I had a particular date in mind, and made sure to have the ring done in time. Brahim prefers phone calls to email, like many vendors for our wedding. If you send him an email, he will most likely call you back. Once I got used to this, it was nice to be able to get my thoughts down on paper, and then talk it over with him on the phone. It was very easy to talk to him about the pricing - he charged a more than fair price for the custom work, and was open about what I could & couldn't do at my range. We went back to Brahim and had him create both of our wedding rings. Our engagement rings are quite different (mine is custom-made by a different jeweler), and Brahim helped us design rings that matched their engagement rings, but also tied in with each other. Brahim made my engagement ring and it's absolutely stunning. I wanted a ring that was simple but not plain, and that was also unique. I had looked online at many rings, as well as in jewelry stores, and I saw many rings that were beautiful but not quite me. I brought my engagement ring and anniversary band in to Brahim to have it reset with some other stones I had in other pieces of jewelry. I had a general idea of what I liked, but after carefully listening to my thoughts and history of the pieces I had brought, Brahim quickly sketched out an idea he thought might appeal to me and would work with what I had. I am SO happy with the finished ring!! It is absolutely gorgeous and well crafted. It is incredibly special to have a ring with so much family history crafted into it.
