The girls all had a blast and they all left with two slimes they made themselves. There are so many themed kids and adult parties you can choose from. The studio is tucked near the older part of Del Amo Mall near Burlington Coat Factory. I had no idea it was here but now I really hope more people discover this gem.

What we didn't appreciate was how poor their attitude was with the children. There were two separate tables for a party with younger kids and parents. The staff scolded the kids multiple times for going back and forth between their tables. The kids weren't even rowdy or running. I understand there's a lot of delicate pottery around, but there are nicer ways to say it. I definitely wouldn't bother coming to this location if I had kids. I'm going to assume both employees are owners here as there's no way a store would keep employing people with such sour attitudes at a place like this.

This is the most complete and wonderful art studio I've been to. They have pottery making, pottery…read morepainting, glass and fabric art to do. The teachers are very friendly. The owner's dog is also super sweet. I painted a pottery, didn't make it from scratch but picked the unpainted one from the shelf and paint it. They have special colors that can make very pretty texture and requires no skill whatsoever. It's very relaxing and fun. They'll fire it for you in 1-2 weeks, then send a text for pick-up. It's a long drive from me but the pottery I got is really worth it!

They were really kind and explained everything without making me feel dumb or rushed. There are so many pieces to choose from and once I started painting I honestly got so into it. ARTime BARRO is part pottery studio, part community space, and is a relaxing, chill place where you can unleash the creativity you thought was dead, where your artistic spirit gets to come out to play, if only for just a little bit of time in this crazy world. On a recent weekend, I had the opportunity to take the One-Time Class, which is a one-hour course designed for complete beginners. You get to make two pieces, one by hand at the table and one on the pottery wheel. The class size was small (just 5 people) and we got great 1:1 instruction and guidance from our knowledgeable instructor Max. I've always wanted to try the wheel and was surprised how hard it was to use it but it was such a great experience that I think everyone should try at least once. After you sculpt your pieces, you are invited to come back to hand paint (glaze) your work at no additional cost. You can also have them do a one-color glaze for you, but after I saw all the multi-colored pieces of other folks previous to me, it was no contest to decide that I wanted to color my pieces myself. You have up to 3 months to come back to glaze so it's very doable in anyone's busy LA (corporate) lifestyle. Pricing was very reasonable for such a cool bespoke experience. There are a lot of pottery painting studios (e.g. Color Me Mine) but this is awesome bc you get to make the pottery AND color it later! I've already recommended this place to countless people!

He seemed extremely passionate in what he does! Giving a low rating just because of our experience with front desk staff. We come in super cordial just to be met with stank attitudes. A few weeks after our session, we called the place to follow up on our pieces and the woman on the phone sounded rude about us asking about it. We went to pick up our pieces recently and the woman at the front desk definitely sounded like the one we talked to on the phone, same voice and same unwelcoming attitude. As if our presence ruined her day or us picking up our pieces was such a drastic request for her to do.
