Standard Kitchen and Bath do excellent work...However if you have them do anything for you, you better put a time limit on it or they will forget they have a project with you. LEGALLY, unless it is in their contract, they can take a simple one wall project like mine and turn it into a year long project leaving your household in a mess until it is complete so be careful and have a time limit! They had a tendency to forget about my project often. They didn't forget when it was time to get paid. If only they were that eager through-out the whole project. read more

Interesting...You are a liar. When you say your designer are you referring to the designer that we hired or your employee? Your employee took the measurements from our interior designer and ignored what she was told by my wife, assuming the measurements would be the same. Then you shifted the blame to us. We gave you 2 weeks to contact us and you didn't respond until we contacted the Better Business Bureau and posted a negative review here. You could have easily rectified the situation but instead cancelled our delivery and attempted to bully my wife into a meeting with you and your staff. THEN, when you agreed to refund our money, you were rude, aggressive with my wife, refused to give her a copy of the release documents that she signed and told her to "get out". I am posting this to hopefully spare others from the frustration and issues we have encountered in dealing with Standard Kitchen & Bath. We ordered cabinets from them approximately 14 weeks ago. During the construction phase of our kitchen remodel our contractor was verifying spacing when he found that the measurements for the cabinets were between 11 and 14 inches off. We contacted Standard Kitchen and Bath immediately. We were then informed that the only employee that had access to our design (Jaz) was on vacation for several more days. Incidentally, she is also the person who rook the initial measurements. We were then sent a text message that due to Covid she would need to delay the remeasuring of our cabinet space an additional week. We requested another person come measure. They sent out Bob, who came to the same conclusion that our contractors did. The initial measurements were incorrect. SK&B denied any responsibility for the incorrect measurements and instead suggested that we, (A.) Modify our existing plan to accomodate the oversized cabinet or (B.) purchase a smaller replacement cabinet from them for approximately $2000 and refused to give us a refund for the incorrect cabinet. These options were presented by our interior designer Katie Pipkin. We have yet to speak with Jaz since the initial measurements. Since we never heard back from SK&B directly, I reached out to the President and Owner Scott Fendley and explained the situation. He said he needed to look at the plans and look at some options. He said that he could probably split the cost with me to bring the cabinet price down to $1000 but that he would need to check some things and get back to me. We were not comfortable with resolution because we were not responsible for the inaccurate measurements of the cabinets. That was July 6th, 2022. Today is July 22, 2022 and we have not heard anything from Standard Kitchen & Bath. They maintain that we failed to communicate the removal of a wall and that is the reason for the faulty measurement. This is of course their attempt to skirt responsibility. We are scheduled to have our kitchen cabinets installed on Tuesday July 26th/27th and we have no idea how that is going to turn out. Update: Standard Kitchen & Bath has decided they are not delivering our kitchen cabinets tomorrow and have refused to give us a refund without a meeting. Update 2: Their employee took the measurements from our interior designer and ignored what she was told by my wife, probably assuming the measurements would be the same. Went in to custom order some cabinets and a countertop for our dressing room. Maybe 6K total, so I realize that I am not a big customer to them, but when I'm told I will have a quote by Thursday (this was a Saturday visit) and then 2 weeks later they are still 'working on it' I have to call BS and say that they simply have no interest in our business. I had high hopes, but very disappointed that because I'm a mid-4 figure client I don't rate enough time for a quote. :( read more

I would not recommend this company. It took an entire year to complete my kitchen. I had broken cabinets and cabinets put into my kitchen that I did not approve. My interior decorator made my choice to add a larger cabinet in my kitchen without even asking me. This changed my kitchen plan and added filler to my kitchen. I had cabinets delivered that didn't fit and had to wait to get the correct ones made. This postponed my kitchen for weeks! I had touch up paint that didn't match my cabinets. If you order cabinets from this company I would make sure they have a touch up paint that matches the cabinets My cabinets did not have the matching paint. The owner of the store did compensate me for the broken cabinets but not for all the headache and time it took to get this kitchen completed! read more

Completely professional staff and talented designers. There is cabinetry for every price range and they will help you find something you like and still work with your budget. The showroom offers so many options that you will want to plan time to look so you can start making decisions. They've been in business for a long time because they are excellent. Just left Standard Kitchen and Bath. A nice lady met us at front of store ( the one star is for her). She told us someone would be over to help us. We waited 20 min as various people walked past us without asking , if we needed help. Business must be great when you can ignore customers ready to buy. read more

Nice people who just don't follow up. Too busy for modest spenders(20 grand or less). But it worked out for me because I found WoodHollow cabinet makers in Dalton Ga. Custom cabinets, delivered, installed and beautiful. PLUS ... I have cherry wood for less, a lot less. read more
