Hired them to clean my couch before a move, they showed up on time called ahead and everything and were very professional . They took about an hour to clean and did a good job .... However, top pictures show the areas I had to go over after I paid $155 and the bottom is what It looked like after I spot cleaned it with my upholstery cleaner since I was cleaning my rug I figured I would try to get the spots out too. Per my request Katrina did agree to have the cleaners come back out to go back over those spots if once dry my spot cleaning didn't do the trick. She was really nice on phone and was willing to accommodate which I was grateful. They Would of got more stars had I not had to go back and spot clean the dirt residue left behind. Overall they did a good job and I didn't have to fix much but I shouldn't of had to go behind and do anything at all for as much as I paid. read more

Just Moved into a new house. I love dogs and cats, but I'm highly alergic to the little darlings. The prior owners had two dogs. I literally couldn't breath in some rooms. The house has over 1,600 sq. ft. of wall-to-wall rugs. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Stanley Steemer in Kingston. Results: Easy to Schedule - Very flexible. The cleaners called ahead of time: Arrived exactly on time. Brayden Leany (Crew Chief) looked a little young, but he and his partner did a WONDERFUL job. Everything was cleaned to perfection with an additive (I'd never heard of) that removes dog dander. Plastic coasters under the legs of all furniture. Cleaned in hard-to-reach areas. Finished in less than two hours. The carpets look like new, and best of all, no allergic reactions ANYWHERE in the house. Most HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. NOTE: We did not use the Stanley Steemer in Lynnwood. I Don't know anything about their performance. read more

Very disappointed. It was a simple job of one large area rug, stairs, landing and one bedroom/office. The guy arrived in a timely manner, early actually, he announced that he was going to use the bathroom and stayed in there for 13 min. My husband asked about the pet odor removal, he said oh, yes and got some more stuff out of his truck. He cleaned for 40 minutes. The price was $42. higher than quoted. A stain was pointed out and he said that he could come back for that. Very poor customer service. No response from Randall. read more

I used to LOVE Stanley Steemer but my last experience was horrific. It started with me asking the tech to please do the small downstairs TV room first so it would be useable first. Was told NO. He had to follow a their procedure of starting in the farthest room. All other rooms were upstairs. I called the management and was told that was how they work. Later I asked if he could pay special attention to and do what he could with the edges of the carpeing by the baseboard. I got a long technical explanation for why it wont do any good. Finally, tried to be nice by noting how carefully he was spraying some little spots. Got another long, technical explanation which I tried to cut short by saying it's ok, I really don't need to know all the details but again was overruled by the tech saying something to the effect of 'I am required to tell you what I am doing and how'. At that point I mentally shut down and let my husband deal with him. Aaaaarghh! read more

We had 2 women out to shoreline to clean our carpet. They ran their hose out our deck and right over a planter of flowers. It would have taken them 2 seconds to kick the planter out of the way. They cleaned the carpet when I moved out of my rental. They did a fabulous job! We just tried scheduling cleaning service with this company, we were informed it would cost us $299 for 3 bedrooms, stairs, a living-room, and a very short and small hallway. We initially were told its $30/room, $30 for the living-room, $30 for the stairs, and $30 for the hallway. We scheduled a cleaning but called back for clarification because $30x6 areas in the house is $180. The guy who picked up gave us a major attitude about it. You are charging us an extra $119 from what we were told, so it is our right to inquire what we are paying for! WE DECIDED TO CANCEL BECAUSE YOU HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! What more once you come into our home? Rude people don't deserve customers. read more

I just had the most pleasant conversation with the owner of this franchise, Randy. I said I needed my carpets cleaned before guests this weekend, and could he come by on Thursday or Friday? He said he was booked, but he, in good conscience, wouldn't do it as the cleaning process would cause the area to smell through my guests' visit. He said if I couldn't get someone out by today (Tuesday) or tomorrow morning (Wednesday), then to do a spot cleaning method he described to me to tide us over until he could come out and see us. Never have I been so impressed by a level of customer service he showed me. Easy job of it from start to finish. Randy the owner called to confirm my appoint that I booked on line. Patrick and Jeremy were right on time in their appointment and even gave me a courteous call that they were on the way. Upon arrival we discussed what was to be steam cleaned and they went right to work. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable about carpet care and what I should and should not be doing as a home owner to get the most wear out of the carpet. The guys worked amazingly fast and left me a happy camper with my carpets looking refreshed and new after their great steam cleaning. if you have a need to have your carpets cleaned give these guys a call- they are reasonable on price and do great work. I spoke with a very kind man who runs this Stanley Steemer business and to my amazement, he touched my heart with his kindness and generosity - he didn't make me wrong but took the situation in stride. DONT USE KINGSTON STANLEY STEEMER! Call Rug Doctor! Employee showed up to my house at 8:45, I was spot painting a room, he told me he could not clean the room with wet paint because it would make the paint run. I told him that I did not know that and that nobody told me. His reply " why would we tell you that? I have been doing this for a long time and have never encountered this! Just so you know". He said they could come back another day for the one room with no additional fee, great? No, he called in and rescheduled the whole house for the next day, after I had told him I had a move out inspection that day! So we worked through that. He got started at 9:40 am. At 10:18 came out to report he was done! $300 for 38 minutes of work! For 7 rooms a hallway and stairs?My living room looked horrible! I called the Rug Doctor, he came out immediately and did an amazing job! One pass and you could see the stains come out! read more
