I was emotional and thought my tenants had completely ruined the carpet in a 4 berm 2500sq foot home. I have young kids so I was very concerned. Used Stanley Steamer out if Stockton for my kitchen and 2 bathrooms of tile to be cleaned. Also had them attempt to clean 2 10x8 area rugs that I removed from my home, Vacumed and put out in the garage for easy access. I let the friendly employee know what my reasonable expectations were with the tile and he proceeded to tell me "he could only clean, where the cleaning machine could reach. Not corners or up against the tub, etc." I didn't pay for partial areas of the floor to be cleaned. I got down on my hands and knees with cleaner and a brush to finish what he refused to clean. The rugs that were only a year old and lightly soiled, were hardley cleaned. Don't waste your money on Stanley Steamers services, because they will take the path of least resistince and disappoint. I spent $130.00 for them to clean the middle area of my tile in a small kitchen and two small bathrooms. read more

Save your money. We sent in 3 area rugs to be cleaned October 2021. By the time we got them back and had the time to organize them in the house it had been a few weeks and we were shocked with what we saw. Not only had we paid full price in cash, the rugs were as dirty as when we sent them off, one rug still had muddy dog prints across it. I called and talked with the supervisor, Matt, and was assured that they were soo sorry and would issue a rull refund. Here it is the end of February 2022 and I'm still waiting. I called to check on any updates and now the supervisor won't even take my call. I've been soo disappointed by the whole situation I won't EVER use them again. I've been more than patient and polite. I understand things happen, I just want an update. You said you were going to have HR send it out Matt Dunn, when will that happen? Since I can't get you on the phone I guess I'll just leave this here... maybe someone can get back to me? Future customers, immediately check your rugs as soon as you get them back. Had Stanley Steemer come out to clean my air ducts. They had not been cleaned probably for 30 years or more. They did a great job. Were able to tell me my ducts were still in good shape and no leakage. Money was well worth it.. Also had my dryer vent cleaned. That was at least 18 years without any cleaning. Will now have dryer vent cleaned more often. Would use again. Very polite and explained everything to me. read more

If I can give 0 starts I would. This is the second time that I've used this company and should have learned the first time that they would not do a good job. The first time the carpet was in a small bedroom and the carpet was in really bad shape lots of deep stains so when they didn't really come out I was not too surprised. I liked their prices and quick service so I decided to use them again. I ordered a large area of tile to be steam cleaned and grout treated with a protective sealant and a carpet cleaning. One area had a small dark spot and a few high-traffic areas. The young man that that came out was struggling from the beginning.. having only been on the job for 6 months.... note to self....never book a job the day after the holiday.. all the seasoned folks are probably still on vacay. - He claimed he didn't have the sealant for the grout because he didn't double-check the order before he left. He called his supervisor who did not offer to bring the sealant or advise him to drive back to the company to pick it up. My husband said maybe we should just cancel but we literally had all of the furniture in the downstairs area in the garage so I didn't want to wait to reschedule. So we went ahead and the guy had trouble with the truck and the equipment the whole time. If the carpet didn't have markings from the machine on it I would swear to you it hasn't been touched. I have done a better job cleaning a carpet with a rented machine from home depot. My tile looked no better than if I just mopped. $200 and moving furniture for this! rediculous! I also had a small home steamer years ago I would use and it did not leave puddles of water all over the floor or dirt marks that I can wipe up with a wet paper towel. The technician didn't even bother to wipe up the water puddles. The manager came over to seal the grout and told me that the sealer will only be covering dirt and I needed a color sealant... long story short nothing was said about the subpar job but I will be getting a refund for the sealant. The people are nice and the prices are reasonable but their equipment is horrible and does not get the job done. Will use someone else next time. read more

The employee was very nice. The work was not worth $224 bucks. I had grout work done..that video is a lie. This is franchise. Yeah you the name Stanley Steamer but I did not get 5 star service. The hall have areas that don't look touched. The small cabinet was not moved. I asked if I should move it. I used a brillo pad under the front of my sofa. Well somebody made some money off of me. I was helping my husband out but he has the equipment to this and he would have done much better. I gave a young man a chance with not years of experience doing this type of work. We. Just had our carpets cleaned within an hour or so. Joseph and Reina did an outstanding job. Very professional, pleasant, and answered any and all of our questions. We only use Stanley Steemer because you get what you pay for. Trust me if you have ever had carpet cleaning done only to have every spot or traffic area back the way it was within 2 months it wasn't done right. I know i sound like a commercial but it isn't. Yes they may cost more and not everyone can Afford them. I just ask you to try to save a little more and try them. I was always trying to save a buck. I am on a fixed income. We have received the very best customer service from Noah Thompson the technician as well as the Manager, Marco. Not only have they always been on time with their appointments but they follow-through with doing a great job on our carpets. What a joke this company is. They denied causing any damage. The district manager came out and argued against the damages of the marks on the baseboard where they took off the paint. As well, as the door and remind you fresh paint flakes were on the ground. Don't waste your money...the price sounds good but they bait and switch when they get to your house and spend more time being a salesman than cleaning. I was fooled and wrote good job on the slip but I should've walked around with the technician afterwards. Shame on me but NEVER, again! An area rug, laundry room and scotch guard really almost a $200 up charge when we were told $130. Save your money and call someone else. read more

We used these guys in Stockton for the past 1.5 years at our business, approximately 3-4 cleanings per year. Always did a decent job (not great). This last time I asked them if they could also do 150 sf of Vinyl Floor covering in our break area. They did not quote a price, and It took them maybe 20 minutes to complete. When I got the billing, they charged me $300 (!!) for this work = ripoff. Called and talked to the Manager (owner?) who was aware that I was not happy, but did not bother to call me back. When I did talk with him he refused to budge, even when I told him our janitorial company (CINTAS) told me they would do it for $75. Crappy attitude, could care less about losing a 3-4x per year customer. Lesson learned and easy decision - last time we ever use this outfit. read more

These people are total crooks. I was just advised to do what I have to do...and the only recourse I have for $350.50 is to let future customers know not to use them EVER. My brother just passed away, I asked a friend to call someone to clean the rugs. When I arrived 2 weeks later, I found the dirtiest carpets I have ever seen. Huge spots everywhere. The traffic areas were filthy. Wonder if they even hooked up their machines. I hired another company to clean the carpets. They did an excellent job in 2 hours, entire house was clean & they only charged me $250. I don't know about you...but I DO NOT like being ripped off. And there were two black spots in my daughters room that they swore they couldn't get rid of (they didn't even TRY to get rid of the spots). My b/f is sometimes too nice and didn't want to argue. They are lucky that I was at work cuz I would have been pissed. So when I got home, I got out the Resolve and they came right out!! I'm sure they could have gotten rid of the spot. Unfortunately for me, they did such a horrible job that the landlord had to have them redone on a rush basis for the new tenants to be able to move in. UPDATE -- I just spoke with the manager who decided to blame my landlord and say that he must have just wanted the carpets to be cleaned again to charge me for it. We had our carpets cleaned about 3 weeks ago. The guy did a great job cleaning the carpets. After he left, my wife and I saw that he damaged a piece of furniture. Without going into detail, I called right away to report it. The lady I spoke with passed the information onto the manager Marco. This was on a Saturday afternoon. He called me on Monday and set up a time to come out and see what happened. When he came out, he checked the damaged piece and said no problem. He got the information on the style number and where we purchased it. He went down and ordered a new one right away. We had it in about a week and a half. He took the damaged piece and left with it. Well i tried Stanley Steamer out of Stockton because it was a well know Company and because of they had a special going 40 dollars off 3 rooms so i booked online for 3 rooms and a hallway. Michael and Greg showed up on time and did a good job cleaning the carpets talked my wife into deodorizer 2 rooms and the hallway a extra 58 dollars so when i got home after they left i looked at the bill and no 40 dollar discount was given full price was paid. called the corporate phone number and figured it was just a mistake they would get it corrected well no they told me the online price is just a estimate that they charged me right. DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE! THEY SEARCH THROUGH YOUR THINGS WHEN YOUR NOT LOOKING!!! We just bought a house and of course we wanted our carpets cleaned before we moved in. It was only a few days before Christmas when we had them clean my house so we could move in that weekend. The people that we bought the house from had a lot of red throw rugs throughout the house. The workers did worn me that they might not be able to get the stain out from the carpet. When they finished there was red everywhere. It was like their vacuum dragged the red stains throughout the whole house. Even the stairs.(there were no throw rugs on the stairs) My carpet is now pink with a lot of stains that they claim they could not get out. (I could get them out though.) THE WORST PART was that I left while they were cleaning and when I came back one of the guys was looking through all of my cupboards. Luckily, I did not have my stuff in the house yet. When he saw me he said, "I'm sorry. I just like to look through people's things." I was stunned. I later called his manager to tell him what happened. He told me, "I asked my guys if they did that and they said "no". He has been here for 10 years and I have never had a complaint." He told me I needed to call the cops if I wanted anything done.
