Cute and not busy for a Stan location
N S.

Stans was great when it arrived from Los Angles and now too big. Donuts are not fresh. $7 for two below average donuts. ?? Also this location. Two of the three napkin holders :empty. When u op shop in am ! Please refill the basics. That is how customers return ! And the place was not busy for early am. So this prompted a call to the store and I informed them that it's rare for us to never finish a donuts that felt like it was stale. The person that answered indicates they are baked @ the factory over night in Alsip. Well this Deliverly felt like it was Monday or Sunday's donuts. Just saying.

Ordered 2 dozen for work on a Wednesday and shout out to Mary - she was super professional and friendly - she just gave the positive vibes. Delicious donuts conveniently located at Mariano's without you having to go all through the market to get to Stan's. The team there kept things in the seating area tidy and bright!

Each doughnut that we tried. The Pistachio/Lemon is missing because I ate it. The Biscoff was already discarded to the trash.

The fat boy is back with another review. This morning I had a craving for some good donuts. My usual spot is closed on Sunday so I figured I try Stan's out. The donuts look really good in the pictures. I went early 6:48 am. It's a nice small place that smells absolutely amazing. Nice display of the fresh donuts. They sell 3 different varieties. The standard, specialties( old fashioned ) & the Dough-Boys. I got a half dozen. ( strawberry glazed, chocolate & vanilla glazed, pistachio/lemon old fashioned, blueberry old fashioned, Biscoff pocket & a blueberry pocket) all the donuts were a bit denser than donuts I'm used to. The two glazed were just ok maybe 5/10 maybe, the blueberry old fashioned taste like a sweeter version of a blueberry muffin not bad but not mind blowing either 5/10. Both pocket donuts were also meh both 4/10 My favorite was the pistachio/lemon old fashioned donut!! 7/10 flavor was packed with Lemon and pistachio. Nice crunchy edges. The service was also meh. 4/10. But when you get mediocre service then it saves you money from not tipping. Meh service =$0 tip. All in All this was enough for me NOT to return. 5/10 overall. absolutely delicious visited during my chicago trip and it was so delicious! the donuts were beyond delicious don't know if i can settle with dunkin' anymore!

Stan is the man. I believe this is a Chicago born and bred place and for classic style donuts, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better place. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 7/10 Fairly typical appearance that you'd expect from a donut shop when you walk in. There's a counter top that separates you from shelves and shelves of that delectable sweet and fried tasty treat. SERVICE: 7/10 As expected. Staff had some good recommendations and were friendly. FOOD: 9/10 Nutella Banana Pocket - 9/10 - Concentrated goodness. This thing is DENSE, HEAVY, but most of all, it is delicious. Bananas and Nutella, already a match made in heaven wrapped up in nice donut with chocolate glaze. Win win. VALUE: 6/10 Their donuts are on the slightly expensive size compared to similar offerings, but the quality is made for here. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 10/10 I probably eat here more than I should. TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Eat the donuts! OVERALL: 8/10

Amazing Place With Chris being the GM (General manager) and today was a free cruffin with a purchase. Chris was wonderful! His concoction of cold brew was yummy with Soy milk and sugar. I'll definitely come back for the cruffins and cronuts and mini donuts. This location is right across from Peoria butchers and there is free parking right next to Stans donuts. We loved the vanilla (smooth and creamy) and raspberry (has real raspberry seeds outside of the jelly like filling) Crafton because there were so much filling and this is such a treat because most places have very little filling and I never ever go to them again after realizing they put a tiny of cream. But this is our style of eating with lots of stuff. You definitely feel like you get your money worth, and the taste of the filling was great. There is outdoor seating and no indoor seating and it's nice and air-conditioned inside the store.

This Stan's Donuts & Coffee sits on my run route headed downtown Chicago. Every time I run past it, I am always tempted to say the hell with the run and just go and have a donut instead. If I ended up doing that then I would have had to walk back towards the starting point of my run as a result of the indulgence. I knew that at some point I would give in and visit this location whether it be during or post completion of a run because it always catches my eye. While looking at their menu via Yelp, I noted that they had a plant-based sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich which built that interest to visit post completion of my run. So, via Yelp, I ordered their Plant-Based Sausage, Egg & Cheese Stanwich w/ a Iced Tea (Black Tea). I smirked prior to picking my order up while looking at the donuts because I knew that I was not leaving without purchasing one. If I were an emoji, I would have definitely been the emoji with hearts in replace of my eyes because those donuts had my interest. I ended up getting the Vegan Chocolate Donut because it is vegan, and the fact that I couldn't recall ever having vegan chocolate. The Plant-Based Sausage, Egg & Cheese Stanwich was sloppy! Or at least the egg portion of it, but overall, it was delicious! Now that I have discovered that Stan's has a plant-based sandwich option I am quite positive I will visit either of its locations in the city of Chicago for it again. And as for the Vegan Chocolate Donut, I had the biggest smirk on my face after taking each enjoyable bite of it. I had a pleasant ordering experience at this Stan's Donuts & Coffee location. And as stated in this review, I enjoyed my meal and would surely order from again whenever in the area or at any other Stan's location throughout the city of Chicago. ~Blessings~ Thomas G

Hands down the worst donut/dessert place I have ever been to. As a donut lover, I am easily pleased by most donuts. I have never had a donut I did not like...until today. I ordered my favorite, Boston creme, and it was disgusting. The custard in the middle was sour, the donut tasted stale, and the chocolate on top was dark chocolate but also tasted stale. I had a few bites and threw it away. I probably got food poisoning...TBD. I also ordered the mango dragonfruit sipper and it looked aesthetically pleasing. The looks were the only thing it had going for it, as it was also disgusting- it tasted extremely artificial and the syrup was too strong. I had one sip and almost threw up. Overall horrible experience. Maybe I ordered the wrong items off of the menu or it's just this location, but I will definitely not be back. The staff member was friendly which is why i gave 1 star. The food deserved 0.

Many thanks to the Stan's Donut team. I appreciate the prompt response as well as listening to me as I expounded on my experience.

My princess enjoying her drink

The service was amazing, the person who was at the place was very polite, friendly and attentive towards us..

When I arrived in the West Loop of Chicago and saw a donut shop on the map called "Stan's Donuts" I knew I HAD to go because Stan is the name of my favorite dog! Stan's did not disappoint! I ordered breakfast sandwiches and an assorted dozen. The bill was somewhat expensive, but we enjoyed every bit of it! I have to say, I enjoyed the sandwiches more that the donuts, but why not get both?! I say, go here for the sandwiches and donuts, but skip the coffee.

Love their donuts, hate their service. I live next door and every time I go in they seem genuinely annoyed that a customer walked in. Donuts are great though and they have some really yummy fall drinks.

Lots of options, but I am here for their gluten-less donuts. They have the best fresh blueberry and pistachio glutenless donuts in the city!

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.

Food Quality Issues:The food and cleanliness were equally disappointing. I requested extra crispy bacon in my omelet, but the bacon was undercooked and appeared raw. Both coffee cups also arrived dirty, with dried coffee residue inside, raising concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail.
