Egg and cheddar sandwich with mayo
    Holly K.

I had the egg and cheese sandwich. Hot, fresh, tasty... though flavor-wise it was giving "Midwestern safe choice." I stared at the spicy jalapeño version for a solid minute before deciding I enjoy my digestive system too much. Then came the gluten-free cinnamon donut covered in chocolate. Made with potato flour and apparently forged in the depths of pure butter and chaos. Heavy as hell. Delicious as hell. Roughly all the calories I'm allowed for the month. My husband inhaled his like a man seeing civilization after weeks at sea. I also had the old-fashioned buttermilk donut dipped in what I think was vanilla glaze, and honestly? That donut knew exactly what it was doing. Service was ridiculously fast, friendly, and funny. They have this little pickup window where your sandwich appears from the void, handed to you by an adorable cheerful human like some kind of magical egg sandwich fairy-poof-it appears! Go, have fun with the choices, don't even think about the calories. One lady told me people come at the holiday and get boxes and boxes! What a great idea! Now just build one in Florida! Cuz, there are enough hot air politicians to help bake these bad boys! Cannot wait to come back ;)

Walked in and immediately greeted with the smell of donuts, yum! We asked for donut recs and got one of each of their most famous flavors: vanilla bean glazed and old fashioned. Both were delish! The glazed donut was fluffy, sweet and my fave. My husband loved his old fashioned donut! He said it was crunchy yet moist. We also both got the Hot N' Spicy chicken sandwich which was so good!! Flavorful and spicy, with toppings that helped add some freshness to it. Pair it with a soft brioche bun, and this sandwich was heavenly! Def check this spot out for breakfast! One of the best places we tried while in Chicago!

When you walk into the store, the first thing you see is this wall of awards and recognitions for basically everything they sell. After seeing that I figured I might as well try a bit of everything. Safe to say that those awards were right, pretty much everything that had here tasted great. The egg sandwich with bacon was a hit, the coffee was on the sweeter side, but I do like that in coffee, and the donuts were also hefty. In particular, the apple fritter and old fashioned stood out to me. The apple fritter was nice and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. It also had little apple bits on the inside that really added to the sweet taste. The old fashioned was really the highlight, just a great balance of soft interior, and hard glazed exterior. The donut was actually so soft that when I picked it up, half of it broke off and fell on the floor. I was definitely the most upset abut losing that donut cause it also tasted the best out of the 3 that I got.

Get the donuts! Got the buttermilk old fashioned, yummy! We also got the fried chicken sandwich. My friend got the spicy one and she loved it, I got the original chicken sandwich and thought it was okay. Preferred the donut over the chicken sandwich. There's some seating inside and outside.

My brother is an engineer at a Fortune 100. I'm a director at a non-profit. Let's just say our paths have diverged financially lmao. That said, I earn my keep when I'm out visiting him and never show up empty-handed. Last week on my way to his place I stopped by Do-Rite to grab a half dozen. Oh my was I delighted!! Raspberry filled, Apple fritters, blueberry crumb. The maple bacon!! They were pricey I won't lie but so so good. I also grabbed a lemonade while I waited for my Uber. I did not try the chicken so I can't speak on that but the donuts sure did me right!

If I could give this 3.5 stars, I would. The service is great: friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Egg sandwich was tasty - the egg custardy and cheese was melting in your mouth. Donuts were all very good, and there was a nice variety, which I enjoyed picking different flavors. There's also a good variety of vegan and gluten-free flavors. My biggest downside was the chicken sandwich. The chicken was so dry. The flavor was just kinda meh, even though it was a spicy sandwich. We did go there at 1:30pm on a Saturday, so it might have been just an older piece of chicken, as it wasn't super busy. Overall, pretty good option for donuts and cheaper egg sandwiches. Find somewhere else for chicken sandwiches.

This shop is situated at a food court in sky deck building. Service was great and friendly; had a long line but it went through quickly. Donuts: 5/5 Pistachio and baked orange were delicious to each their own but pistachio one was our fav! The texture was dense and packed but my, flavors were so delicious and weren't too sweet. Oat-milk latte - Yum! Should've asked for less ice because the flavor got diluted but it was the perfect balance between sweet and bitter. Would recommend and will be back.

Fun signage in the restroom to help you wash your hands for 20 seconds.

You really can't go wrong with Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken! No matter what location I visit the donuts are always consistently delicious. This was my first time visiting this location and the service at this location is top tier. During my visit The manager was actively training someone on the cash register so service was a little slow but both of the women were very friendly. I loved that they took a few minutes to chat with everyone and make us all smile. During this visit I decided the try the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was much larger than I expected. I ordered the turkey sausage and egg sandwich. Overall, the sandwich was tasty and I easily got two meals from the sandwich. The inside of the donut shop is a little tight. They have a ton of seating inside but they have a row of stools right next to the cash register. When the line got long there wasn't a lot of space to move away from the cash register without feeling like you had to push into the people sitting down eating their food. They do have a lot of space outside so I highly recommend dining outside or taking your food to go!

Top left to right: blueberry, pistachio lemon, maple bacon, cinnamon old fashion, buttermilk old fashion, maple bacon

Stopped here and grabbed a half dozen for breakfast this morning. It smelled of freshly made donuts and sweet sugar air filled the building. I was salivating just walking through the door. We had to try the cake like and old fashioned donuts since the yeast style are our least favorite. We got 2 different old fashioned donuts (cinnamon of and buttermilk of) and 4 cake like (pistachio lemon, blueberry, 2 maple bacon). Favorite to least: maple bacon, buttermilk of, cinnamon of, blueberry, pistachio lemon. We would definitely be back. Jake n kev

The service here was so nice which is the main reason this place gets 4 stars. I got their Boston cream (3/5), apple fritter (3/5), old fashioned (4/5), and the sweet & spicy crispy chicken sandwich (2.5/5). The Boston cream wasn't sweet at all. The chocolate glaze on top was good but I couldn't really taste the custard. The old fashioned was solid but didn't really stand out to me. The chicken sandwich wasn't crispy unfortunately and was probably just sitting out for a while getting soggy. The flavor was fine but I wouldn't consider this to be sweet or spicy. Overall donuts and food were fine but imo there's better donut places elsewhere.

First time visiting Do-Rite Donuts and they have some great donuts. I visited later in the day so they didn't have a full selection but there were quite a few donuts to choose. I ordered a chocolate covered sour cream donut, a plain one and a cinnamon one and loved them all. One of them we saved for two days and it was still nice and soft inside. The location I went to, I passed it while looking for it but found it when I turned around and walked back. This location is small with counter seating and just a couple of indoor tables. There were several covered outdoor tables though. I will visit Do-Rite again for sure.

Anybody know if they still have vegan donuts?

Hi Stacy, we sure do have our vegan donuts available! There are three flavors: Maple Chai, Double Chocolate, and Orange Olive Oil.

Does this place get very crowded on weekends? Is it hard to get a spot to sit?

Not too sure. The place itself is quite compact. So if there is a decent amount of customers, it can be seem as crowded.

Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

The outside had a light coating of sugar that gave it just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Once I bit into it, the inside was soft, airy, and slightly chewy from the sourdough, which made it different from a regular donut. There was a subtle tang from the sourdough that balanced the sweetness really well, so it never felt overly sugary. It had a light crispness on the outside, then a warm, pillowy center that practically melted away with each bite. I finished it way faster than I expected. I know it sounded silly, but I enjoyed chewing these coconut flakes and they were good palate cleansers! The presentation was da bomb as well. The only reason that I couldn't give five stars to "Stockyard" was limited seating. The place was super cute, but there were only 3 tables and less than 4 high chair seating against the windows, plus some outdoor seating on the pedestrian walkway. The laptop users were respectfully directed to sit at the windows and outlets were available. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable. Our family and extended family often ordered birthday cakes from them, and their mango cake was our favorite. When mangoes were in season, they used plenty of fresh mango in the cakes. Their pineapple buns and egg tarts are her favorites as well. Saint Anna has also been part of our daughter's childhood. When she was little, my husband used to bring her here before or after Chinese school in Chinatown on Sundays. Her go-to breakfast items were the Butter Bun, Ham and Macaroni in Soup, and Diced Ham and Corn in Cream Rice. As she got older, Curry Chicken with Potato became her favorite. She especially loved the potato cubes soaked in the delicious, mild curry sauce. She would always ask for more potatoes and less chicken, haha! Saint Anna is a family-run business, and Sara and Irene, the daughters-in-law, used to take care of the front of house. They were always so friendly and accommodating.
