This park is awesome. They have an open field, a huge train structure, rock climbing, and even a water area the kids can splash around in. Before the entrance of the park there is a detached skatepark. The thirty minute drive is well worth it. read more

I Love this park, it's so clean and there is so much to do here for kids and adults- playground, water play area (in the summer), rope climbing, tennis, baseball, skatepark, fitness equipment and trails. And the City always puts on great free events here for the holidays and other things like movies under the stars, etc. Great job Stanton! read more

It is pretty busy there for my young toddler but this is angteat park. It seems pretty new and we'll kept. The splash pad is the best!

Super clean park. It's big and open and the train playground is so cool! They also have a splash pad that my son enjoyed. Overall this is one of the better parks that my family and I have been to. It'll keep the kids entertained. There is also basketball courts and tennis courts. Restrooms are also nice. read more

Such a fun, clean park... Very busy but if you don't mind, it's worth it. My kids had a blast, there was so much for them to do. Water play, giant play ground, mini play ground, swings, basketball court, skate park, baseball field, 2 workout stations, rock/rope climbing, I think I've covered it. There is a lot of shade and benches everywhere. AND BETTER YET!!! IT'S FREE!!! Only complaint is there were a lot of people packed for the day... It stayed busy the entire time we were there. I got lucky and found a bench in the shade but pure luck. read more

This is the place to take your kids , huge park , they have a water sections for smaller kids upo to 12 years of age, huge playground for the kids as well. Also they have a couple grass fields for sports, come racquetball courts ,skate park , basketball court, work out area and walking path . Will also say go into he butterfly season with the kids and they even have a section where you will see alot of them (only when they are in season hatching ) read more

This place is beautiful and my kids had a great time. It's so clean. Well lit, with enough seating for parents while the kids play. They have this awesome water section so make sure to bring extra clothes for the little one as it is very easy to access. We landed on a day with free concert and decided to stay longer. Still newish park so still clean. I hope they can keep up with maintenance. The play area is beautiful!. The seating area for parents is well situated. Almost where ever a parent sits, they can still watch their child. I like most is there's no wood chips landing in most of part of the play area. Can't stand wood chips in playgrounds. My kids had so much fun here. Everything is fairly new. The playground area is partly shaded. There's a basketball court, skate park, splash pad, lots of seating areas for parents, and there was also a farmers market on the weekends I believe. Yesterday I took my kids here in their swim suits to play in the splash pad area. My eldest made a few friends and looked like she was having the best time of her life. All the kids that were there were friendly and respectful. I was walking my 2 year old around and was splashed every once in a while, so be prepared. Also the water would sometimes shut off on certain parts of the splash pad. It turned back on after a few minutes though. And I couldn't find a place to rinse my kids afterwords.. read more

Love this park. First time visiting. Arrived at 12:00, parking was already filling up, but found a spot close to the Community Center which is the main entrance area. There's a skate park, walking/jogging path, work out station, bathrooms, grass area, covered table areas, water splash pad area, toddler playground, and big kid play area. It's fantastic. Stayed for a few hours. Not a lot of covered benches so bring an umbrella if you plan on hanging around long. Sunscreen! Hydrate! And play shoes! We will be back. read more

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. There are some huge benefits to this park. Mostly for me, that there is an adequate little kid structure. There is also lots of grass as well as many other activities that we have yet to try. We've been a few times since it opened, and I've already noticed it getting quite dirty. Lots of trash left around. I like that there is lots of seating options, but I fear that it can lead to children not being watched as closely. I'm interested to try going other times of day to see what the crowd is like. read more

This park is great for all ages of kids. My 14 month old loves the smaller jungle gym. The equipment is all in excellent condition, bathrooms are nice and clean, and there is a large field behind the park that you can play a number of activities. read more

This park has a little bit of everything. There is a a huge structure shaped like a train with standard playground equipment. Adjacent is a mini splash pad and rock and rope structures perfect for future Ninja Warriors. Also across the parking lot are basketball and tennis courts next to a mini skate park. A huge baseball field is located next to workout stations. Stanton has done it right! Stanton Central is a must see. read more

The park needs some kind of Park Staff Supervision. I witnessed puppies being drug around the play area allowing the puppies to pee on the play surfaces. Older children rough housing on the splash pad, pushing younger kids around and what seem to be very little parent supervision. read more

Great new park. The city of Stanton converted a run-down golf range that used to look into a mobile home complex into this beautiful park. So the mobile home complex is still there of course, but now our focus is on this big spacious park. Several tennis courts, modern equipments for kids to play on, an urban skate park, nice landscaping, clean bathrooms and plenty of parking ... Love this park... but had a bad experience with the staffs giving away my reservation to others. I had originally went in to book my reservation, but their system was down. They had me fill out paperwork and said once system was back up I'll be the first one they notify. I called a week later and was told it's already booked. I told them on the day I called prior to their system going down, Jessica had checked and said that date was open and that I would have to go in to reserve it. Which I did go in. They tried telling me it was booked before I even called. When asked for the dates of the other reservation it was made after I went in. I had asked to speak to the manager and was told he'll call me back, but never did. Followed up 3 times after that and still nothing. Staff was very unorganized and made empty promises. Jessica, Wendy, Annabelle I believe were their names. And the manager is terrible for not responding. read more

Wow, what a gorgeous park. Can't say enough about this pen and it's features. Parking is good, but it can become over flowed on the weekends and or special events. I'm a 5 min walk away, so no vehicle needed. It's crazy seeing something built on land that I use to play on 25 years ago. I remember it as the Orange County Christian School, which moved up the street on Western. After sitting for a while, it became the golf range and Korean church. Place was looking run down. Glad the city bought the land and invested tax money accordingly. I'll be going here with my son for years on end. read more

Just WOW!!! What a great job this city did with this park! There are play structures that are great for all ages. The splash pad will only hold the interest of smaller children but it's clean and a nice bonus on a hot day! The facilities are are super clean because they are brand new... hope they stay that way because right now this place is great!There is limited seating in the shade so if you come at a busy time be prepared for direct sun. read more

Do not try to go here on a weekend. We drove around for 30 minutes on a Saturday at noon trying to find parking with no luck. Probably 50 cars all circling around trying to find a spot. All with no where to go, because the neighborhood across the street is permit only. Looks like a great park, but they need to figure out a better parking solution. read more
