It has been a while since I made an appointment for a new prescription. I was searching for a place and saw the reviews for this location. I'm glad I chose to go here. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The people here enjoy their jobs and treat you like a human. They're not trying to make money off of you, they just want to make sure you can see. The dog ate my glasses so i was recommended to go here. Did not disappoint, they listened to what i said i would be doing and made adjustments to lenses to compensate. I had a very very bad experience with this optical store today. On 3/3/2025 they examined my eyes, gave me a prescription. I ordered my glasses from them . 3 weeks later I received my glasses and I was wearing them for 25 days but my eyes were still blurry so I came back to their store and they gave me another eyes exam. They told me something terrible wrong with my eyes and referred me to another eyes doctor ( specialist) and they also asked me to pay for the eyes exam. I asked them why they charged me again so they gave me a discount only charged me $25 . To me they should not but I paid them any way. And today I went to see a eyes doctor who they referred me to and this doctor said the prescription at the Stanton Optical was wrong so I came back the the store and they found out they was wrong and saying sorry and wanted to make another lenses for me but I have to pay more money. I wasn't happy about it so I returned my glasses to them. But they haven't refund my money and kicked me out calling the police if I don't leave their store. This is what happened to me today. Please tell me how to get my money back. They took my glasses they should refund my money. read more

This place is not good. I went to get an eye exam and it was virtual which was interesting in itself. During my exam, the eye doctor I guess is what he was on the screen froze, so I'm basically sitting there with this thing on my eyes, waiting for the next instruction, and there is silence, so that was different to say the least. I wasn't able to ask any questions or discuss my vision at the time with him. I was prescribed two pairs of glasses both being extremely strong to wear. My head hurts my eyes feel like they're being pulled out of my sockets. One pair was to be for reading and the other for driving. They gave me a pair for reading and a pair for distance and I said I didn't need glasses for distance, but they didn't really have anything else to say about it and sent me on my way. Just kept telling me my eyes will adjust. so I gave it a good amount of time and there was no change. I could never drive with the glasses they gave me. I could barely read with the glasses they gave me. I took them back in to tell them they're way too strong. I cannot see with these glasses. I'm still having to keep things very close to my face to be able to read and they basically told me they're fine and did nothing to help me with them. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to get new glasses so I am stuck with these glasses and they've actually made my life extremely miserable because I can't see without them and I can't really see very good with them and I do feel like they've just made my eyes worse now because my eyes are trying to adjust to them.....people tell me that's not true that doesn't happen and I think otherwise because I literally can't see like I used to after wearing these glasses. I don't recommend going to this place to get glasses, my personal opinion. read more

I was told to expect my glasses in a week or two. Long story short, it took 5 weeks. Was wondering how this happened since Stanton fills the orders through its Texas headquarters. They did call to inform me when my glasses would arrive, but it ultimately took an additional week past their own revised ETA. Explanations focused mainly around shipping delays due to weather and a restructuring of distribution centers. I don't have any proof that these claims were false but when the story is explained in a circle, it makes me wonder. Also, they just gave me the glasses without even checking how the earpieces fit on my head. read more

If you have any significant eye issues, this is not the place, at all. If you call to inquire, the owner will lie and say whatever he can to get you in. Even going as far as lying multiple times claiming they have lenses that are at a -3.00 in stock. Abby and Yulissa will lie lie lie as well, claiming they have it, then once you have the eye exam the story slowly changes. Abby said, "at most it'll take two days" Then they traded off and Yulissa told me, "oh, well, we have to them made, it will by Monday, at the latest" during the sale to finalize it. Then Abby calls after I've paid and I'm driving down the road to tell me it'll be at least 10 days... The owner then proceeds to continue his string of lies, placating me by offering a refund and to do the glasses (I record my phone conversations for this reason). Fast forward to today, I call to inquire about said refund as I haven't seen the reversal charge and he proceeds to take an attitude and say, "my mem-memory must be hazy, I thought you wanted to proceed with the purchase" playing dumb and trying escalate matters yet again. I didn't continue the conversation any further and hung up. You are better off going to America's Best or Eyeglass World if you have significant eye issues. read more
