I should have believed the terrible reviews I read before coming here but I still had an online order shipped here. They called and let me know my item was here and it was no where to be found when I got there. The male employee wasn't incredibly helpful but he did put his phone down long enough to awkwardly try. Went here last weekend to get a filing cabinet and some other supplies. Bryan went over and above to help us and make sure everything was exactly what we wanted! This review is about the store's hours. I've been trying to buy ink pad ink and every time I'm near this Staples, it is outside of their ridiculous store hours. Apparently they open at noon on Sundays, close at 7 (!) on weekdays, it's kind of stupid. As I'm writing this, I'm thinking: I've got an Amazon prime account... I'm going to buy my ink pad ink for cheaper and more conveniently from Amazon. Thanks Staples for saving me time and money! read more

Every time I come to this Staples they never have in stock what I need. I called this location a week ago and asked to speak to the printing department I spoke with a person in the printing department and told them I needed to make signature stamps. I asked the gentleman who was working what I would need in order to have stamps made he explained to me I would just need to bring in a piece of paper with a signature on it. Today I come into the location am told that they haven't made signature stamps in over a year. When I attempted to speak with the manager about their employees who are giving out in anger information she so rudely brush me off and walked away. My business is located in walking distance of the store unfortunately I have to drive 5 miles out of my way to go to Office Depot because that's the only office store that seems to have supplies staples no matter which tables I go to always seems to disappoint. read more

No stars from me. Young black manager would not let me use a $30 off coupon my purchase was over $300 so I had the cashier remove a video camera. It was weird all the other managers at staples are coupon friendly. Not this store. She looks like a newbie. Then the register locked up And I waited 20 minutes while the cashier was in the phone getting help the system was locked up. He was very user friendly and kept apologizing. Nice young man. You would think after that long wait she would have honored the staples coupon since it was good on anything in the store but said phone order only. I don't believe she cared if I ever came back. I will go back to my favorite in Town Square. No more Green Valley location. One star for the cashier. read more

I went to Staples and didn't quite know what I wanted for my daughters college signing day at her high school, limited time only had 2 hours before signing. I just had my daughter's college logo on my iPhone and went to Staples. I was helped by Scott when I got there and told him my idea and he helped me completed and did it all for me within 30-45 minutes. read more

I was searching for an out-of-date binder to store my DVD movies in, to save space. After I was shown binder inserts by another person, and practically gave up, a salesman Enrique Escaluda (sp?) rescued me. He took me over to a side of the store and climbed up on a ladder and retrieved the exact binder I had described from the top shelf. He said he'd remembered seeing it, and it was the last one. I bought a new printer, and at the time also purchased an extra box of ink. The sales associate assured me that the ink was compatible with my new printer. Fast forward few months later, I go to put the replacement ink in the printer and it's the wrong sized ink cartridge. Not only does this inconvenience me to complete my project, but when I called the store to see about exchanging the wrong ink for the right ink, the associate said that the manger said they won't do it. Their excuse was that the ink had an expiration date. I got off the phone and checked the box. The exp date was Jan. 2018! Now I'm stuck with a box of computer ink which is of no use to me! $60 waisted! I'm not shopping there again. read more

Walked in to buy a printer. Walked out pissed off. I walked in and went to the printers, I stood there for about 10 minutes before I got a older gentlemen to help me for a second or two. He walked away and I started walking around. When I started walking I saw a worker or manager (she had a grey shirt) and I said "Hey" to kinda get her to help me some more. She ignored me and kept walking. She did this twice to me. She just looks at you and acknowledges you said something but she doesn't say anything or try to help. Then when I got the other gentleman's attention I simply asked "Do you have this printer I want to buy it?" His response was "If we don't have it under, then we don't have it." Like as if I knew that, as if I knew how everything worked there. If I knew that I wouldn't ask that question. Customer service is not key to this store at all. The kid at the front just smirked and laughed when I said "The customer service here sucks." Never shopping at a staples. They didn't even have the product I wanted. Was looking for a6 envelopes that I found on the Staples website . Once I got to the store they did not have them and there was no one around the store to ask about inventory except the cashiers . The restrooms were beyond dirty, trash overflowing , floors not mopped , and sink basin was dirty . Not what I expected for a Green Valley store. read more

Shittiest service here! No joke. I had one employee very helpfully tell me that they sell individual cardstock at the copy counter. When I got there, another employee came by and said, flatly, "We don't do that." I replied that the employee in the back clearly told me he did. With an attitude he responded, "Trust me, I've done this for 11 years (you must be very proud that you've managed to work there for 11 years with that shitty attitude of yours) and I know we don't do it. There's no way. We'd have to charge you for a copy." We finally got to the bottom of it that it was a miscommunication from the gentleman I initially spoke to... they don't sell the cardstock individually, but they will sell it to you by charging you for a black and white copy (12 cents, I think). I gladly bought the cardstock for the price of black and white copies so as not to buy 250 sheets for 21 bucks. But the employee could have handled the situation much more professionally. If you would have asked me yesterday what I would rate this staples, I would have said a 3star, but today I am rating them 5 stars and here's why. Two weeks ago I ordered some brochures online for my business, to hand out at a huge event. The staples website was a mess and when I went to pick up the brochures, the format was so off that it made the folds awkward and sloppy. They also didn't have any glossy paper so it looked like I made them myself at home. I received a survey email and told them what happened and the manager contacted me today and apologized for everything. We made arrangements for me to come in and talk to Scott(in the copy and print department). Not only did they give me a full refund but they also fixed the format, printed new brochures out in glossy paper and didn't charge me anything!!! Their customer service is incredible! They w went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be using their services again. read more

Horrible customer service......been standing in the electronics section for 15-20 minutes looking to buy a computer and all the employees are just standing up front talking to eachother. No effort to help with any questions or try and sell me the laptop. read more

Went into store #1491 on 8/10/13. No greeting from employee who walked right in front of me. Same employee met me again 3 aisles over & he pointed & mumbled something when I asked where the e-readers were. I was holding a fabric e-reader cover in my hand in plain sight; made it for someone & wanted to make sure it would fit. I had a tape measure which I used to measure the different e-readers. The manager or asst. manager behind me called over the intercom & the SAME employee I'd already seen twice galloped around the corner & confronted me. I was being falsely accused of shoplifting. ALL the e-readers are on security tethers & if someone tries to remove one, an alarm will go off (I know this from 30+ years retail experience). I emailed the company the same day to tell them of the treatment I received...anyone who can't tell the difference between a tape measure & any type of cutting instrument shouldn't be in retail! NO ONE from the company has responded back. Disgraceful!! read more

I ordered online 500 custom business cards. A week later, they were finally ready, I went to Staples to pick them up - my cards were trashed. There was white splotches all over them (they were supposed to be black cards), and most of them were off center by half an inch. I was told they would reprint them. Another week passes and I get a phonecall they were ready. Drive back down, the reprinted batch was only 250 cards and they were equally as messed up. I asked to speak to a manager, and I got an older blonde lady with the biggest attitude. I told her these were reprinted cards and they were still wrong, she told me that I just didn't like them. I was given a refund of $20, ALL IN ONES. Apparently Staples doesn't carry cash in 5, 10, or 20 denominations. Then I wasn't given a receipt, I had to ask for it. This store and it's employees couldn't be anymore low class. They couldn't get the simplest of business needs right, and it took TWO WEEKS of waiting for business cards. I can go to Vistaprint with no hassle and have it delivered to my door in 3 days. What's funny is that Staples will go out of business scratching their heads at wondering where they went wrong. Walk into a Staples store sometime and it's real easy to see why no one shops here. read more
