Three clerks working the counters today and was busy but literally took less than two minutes to scan my return package and obtain a receipt. The store was obviously managed well and was clean. The plaza parking lot was being resurfaced so customers were forced to parallel park along the curb causing traffic congestion. read more

In general I prefer UPS Stores to the more complex diversified services offered at FedEx Kinkos - now FedEx Office. Because of this, I use UPS more often than FedEx, and I use UPS Stores a lot! So when I tell you this is a really good UPS Store, I know what I am talking about. What makes this a good store is their friendliness and efficiency. This is not my home UPS store, but it was the closest UPS store when I was leaving for a trip overseas just before the holidays. I was probably in there at least once a day for about 2 weeks, but it only took a day before they had a feel for my shipping needs - mostly Amazon returns for items I would need on my trip. That makes them golden in my book. After that first day there was no need to explain anything. I could just walk in and they knew exactly how to help me. I come here about 5 times a month sometimes even more. I come here because it's the closest one to my house but the staff are rude and snappy with customers. Not just to me but while I'm waiting in line I can see and hear how they are treating other customers and it's very belittling. Some people don't have perfect knowledge of the mailing system so they should treat them like they're stupid. I can count on my hand the number of times I have been in a UPS store or any store since last March. I buy on Amazon to feel safe. I had a return for Amazon because I made a mistake. The staff made me feel terrible about returning the product. He thought I would be better off going into a store and purchasing the product and then "they" would have caught my mistake. Like others, I too experienced some of the worst customer service out of all UPS locations I frequent. I usually have no problem in getting things packed by employees to send back to Amazon, but at this location they acted like it was an extreme inconvenience. At first when I asked if it were possible, they said no. Then I asked if it were possible if I paid for the service, the employee said that there would be a charge in a very snappy tone. All three employees seemed very unhappy to have me and others in the store as customers. One even began slamming things and rolling his eyes at me. I see too that the manager responds to complaints here in pretty much the same rude tone that he spoke to me with in the store. One or two might seem like a bad day, or a bad apple customer, but this is clearly a pattern. Anyways, thanks for reading, I recommend you avoid this location, and hope you take care! Update 10/20/20 I see Stan responded and for that I am grateful. It seems as though he has confused me with someone else as my package was not labeled for USPS. However, as that was not the important drawback from my original complaint, it is of little consequence. Stay away from this store! Horrible customer service and scam artists. First, I am disabled and tgey allow everyone to ilegally park on front of the store making it difficult for me to het in with my walker and the box I was bringing in today. Second, when I ebtered, the music was blaring and it was head-banging death metal. I am 49 so it's not like I am some old cranky person. It was so unprofessional. Third, I brought an Amazon item return in the SAME box that it was shipped to me in and they told me I had to buy a box from them. I could not physically bring the boxback to my car. It was hard enough getting it obto the stote. So I had to pay $12 to return a $30 item. I am calling their corporate office but I will NEVER go back to this store again. A mosh pit probably breaks out after closing time. UPS shoukd be ashamed to have this store represent them. I would like to give this place a Negative 5 stars but 1 star was as low as I could go. I had a terrible experience today. When I got the store they spent 45 min just with one costumer. So I had to say in front of the people( customers inside the store ) that he was taking too longer with a lady sending package I don't know where. I was with my 2 year old baby girl. And the men didn't show any sympathy with me when I got my turn. I was returning a package from Amazon and I have ready the scan code. He said can you put more brightness. I said this is the only code I have. He said like " someone can help her" he thought i didn't speak English. So he took another person behind me. I said what????????? I waited here 1 hour and when it's my turn you said you can't scan the return code because of the brightness in my cellphone. Omg that's ridiculous. This is the worst experience with a baby in your arms in the ups store. I went to another ups store and the ladys scan really easy the same return code that I showed to him. In the short amount of time I was here, the employee behind the counter, who was quite possibly the owner, made it known that he was annoyed and made it a point to provide some of the worst customer service. Telling me my address is wrong because it doesn't show up in his computer system, messing up the packaging, put in the wrong phone number....I don't even want to say anymore as this guy just went out of his way to be as irritating and unpleasant as possible. At least the rest of the staff didn't have their heads up their asses like this particular gentleman. So I'll give 2 stars instead of 1. EDIT TO RESPONSE: I was at the front of the store, but I'm not deaf nor blind. Rolling your eyes, huffing and puffing, and getting visibly agitated because you were asked to do something else, like change the phone number back because you left the wrong one in and told her "you can change it next time" is not being helpful. Go to another UPS store if you want friendly and helpful service. I just needed to drop off a return of two boxes to Amazon using a bar code Amazon sent me. Guy tried to make me pay for a box because "you can't ship two items with one label". It was suggested to tape the two boxes together and then he tried to charge me $5 because "I have to use a lot of tape". I said no thanks and left. I went to another UPS store and guess what? This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I went into this location to mail a letter and they tried to upsell me to get a tracking number for an extra $12 we're talkin a regular letter with one stamp the manager / owner Stanley came over and try to reassure me that this is the way to do i only come it for a stamp though . Thank God Nick was there one of the other associates I had asked him about what was going on. With the price and stan interrupted us as if to get extra money out of us owner came over and abruptly talked to him like he was less than a person I was embarrassed for the whole situation and made me feel very uncomfortable needless to say I will never be returning to this UPS Store ever again and I hope Nick get the recognition he deserves for going out of his way for amazing customer service read more

This store really gets it. Although it's clearly a part of a massive company (which helps w shipping etc) the team runs it like a small local business. Stan/Nick/Jason get to know their customers, go out of their way to be helpful, and believe in developing long term relationships.
