Insane business model to provide a customer with STAPLES return labels, tell a customer to expect a pickup within 5 days, wait two weeks with no pickup, then I go to the store with the packages (with staples branded return labels) and they look at me like I'm insane for trying to drop it off. Refuse my drop off, send me with post it note with the wrong customer service phone number (had to be transferred and waited on hold) only to go leave with the packages back in my car. Wild that an empty store with employees standing around wouldnt have an interest in even trying to understand their own system to help out a frustrated customer and make them walk out with product that their own company is trying to retrieve. read more

It's been so long since I've gone to Staples and didn't plan to enjoy the trip as much as I did. My husband wanted to buy me an office chair for my birthday, which I happily agreed to if I could "test sit" on them. They had a solid variety in the store (and there's more online). I found a great option and on sale. While there I walked down several aisles and the little girl who got so excited to buy new school supplies came out! So many pens, post-it notes, planners, binders, organizers, planner stickers, etc. I don't need any of it but wanted it all!!! The store associate we worked with was helpful and friendly, bringing out the office chair from storage and even offering to take it to the car. He also helped my husband access his store rewards to apply to our purchase, and looked up the organizer I found without a tag. If you're looking for a modern and more grown up type of organizers and supplies, check out their Poppin line. Store gift cards and birthday cards are available. Staples offers a copy and printing center too. It was nice to shop for office supplies in person instead of an online catalog. read more

I needed a hole punch. The kind that does ONE hole. I didn't need one of those three-hole punches that are used to punch paper to fit in a three-ring binder. Just a single hole punch so I could make little circle stickers to place on some of the audio equipment in my studio. Do you think I could find the rarest of all hole punching artifacts, the Single Hole Punch??? This was a lot harder than it needed to be. We went to Meijer - no hole punches at all, not even the three-hole punch that lives in a three-ring binder for punching holes in paper to fit into a three-ring binder. (did I just divide by zero?) Kroger - None. Walmart - None. (seriously, why was this so hard to find?) I even tried CVS and Walgreen. NO ONE had a single hole punch. You know the kind, it looks like a cross between a pair of pliers and a duck-billed platypus? Just as I was about to call it quits and resign myself to use scissors to try to cut some sickly-looking not-exactly-perfect-shaped circles for my studio, Wifey said "Let's try Staples. It's on the way home!" (Sometimes Jim gets so focused on things that Wifey needs to re-focus him.) Stopped in Staples and asked the nice lady behind the counter where we'd find a hole punch. She took us to what I'm going to suddenly call the Office Gadgetry aisle and pointed them out to us. The clouds parted, a choir of angels sun, and a beam of sunlight shined from above (ok, it was a halogen light from the ceiling, but same effect) and there they were. Two peg hooks. One with a hole punch for $1.25, one with a hole punch for $4.00....and, this being just about the luckiest day that Jim has ever had, the $1.25 one was empty. But at least I found a single hole punch! WHEW! FINALLY! I was so elated that I decided to spend some more money at Staples. My wife had a pen that needed a replacement ink barrel, so I got one of those, too...because I was just feeling good. I even put a sand dollar in the box for Jerry's squids -- for the halibut. I know it's a bit todo for a hole punch, but since we'd visited about half dozen retail locations before realizing we could have saved our selves some time and just go to an office supply store, it seemed like a much bigger accomplishment. The lady that directed us to the platypus-shaped paper punch was very helpful, the store seemed adequately staffed, and all COVID precautions were very much in place. We've always had great shopping experiences at this Staples and have never been disappointed. Location is so-so. Customer service has always been great for me. I pop in here from time to time, as it's near my office. Customer service had never been a problem for me, though, I see in other reviews this wasn't the case for everyone. I've had a few employees help me find things or assist with a print job and they've been fast and friendly. The store can be a bit disheveled and seems to have smile yellow light inside. Also because of the way the doors are set up and black signage on the windows, this location doesn't always appear to be open even when it is. Plenty of parking. No bad visits. I don't have any issues at this location and am overall satisfied. read more

This Staples location isn't great. I have only visited once, but I do not plan to return unless it's absolutely necessary. The store was disheveled, and the employees were not attentive and not helpful. I visited this location to pick up a print job, and though when I walked to the counter there was no line, and I could see the employees sitting in a small room just behind the counter, no one came to help me for several minutes. Both employees looked up at me several times, and then returned to what they were doing, as if I weren't there. I was not even greeted or given a simple, "We'll be with you shortly." If you can avoid this Staples, I would recommend it. read more

My trip there was not at all what I expected. The store was not clean and their was boxes and ladders everywhere obviously they were stocking but not sure anyone was actually stocking. There prices were 4x as much for common items. I will not be returning read more

Just left empty handed. We need a printer for our wedding invitations and couldn't find anyone to help us in our selection. The store had about 8 customers total. We finally tracked someone down but they couldn't answer our question (which was ok it wasn't his department) he called someone to come help us and left. As we were waiting, that someone comes up and starts selling to another couple who didn't ask for help. We finally get his attention and he asks if we need help. We said yes and he says he'll call someone over. We left. read more

On July 4th 2012, I came to this store to pick up my item as requested from another store, as I was asking the cashier, Ashley, Charles the Assistant Manager overheard me and right away got my item out. He helped me load the item to the car as well. Though at the beginning there seemed to be a 'what's going on?' situation- the cashier was clueless about the item I was talking about and there was another associate near by but she didnt know anything either until Charles came- everything got resolved quickly. Maybe they need to work on better communication next time, but overall I was pretty happy with the service. read more

I will NEVER EVER order anything from Staples online again.. They never updated their shipping info.. Because they never shipped my item.. I've live chatted AND called customer service numerous times. I demanded a refund and then they stopped delivery.. My refund was issued on 12/16 (the website says 3-5 days processing) I called today, day 5, they informed me it will be 10 business days.. HORRIBLE business practices.. Never go there for ANYTHING, especially on their podunk website! I recommend negative stars if I could read more

Aweful!! The customer service in Print Services at the Hurtsborne Parkway store is definitely lacking! The lady was rude when my daughter and I asked for help with the self serve printer/computer. She said "help with what" in a rude tone, and told me that I took her comment the wrong way. She walked off and didn't come back until I called her back 3 times to assist. Went in to get something printed out - literally 3 pages in black and white - and I was told that your printing services have a 24-hour waiting period. I've never heard of having to wait 24-hours to get something printed. And the thing is, it wasn't like there was a flood of people over there trying to get something printed. It was me and one other lady. So guess what I did after that experience? I went straight to Office Depot and got it printed out immediately. read more

Terrible customer service I was told I could buy the same item online and pick it up at the store within one hour only after I placed the order online I was told NO you have to wait till 2 days to pick it up even though they had it in stock and they guy online side I could! Very frustrating! and no resolve! This is probably why stores are closing! I was not asking for something free I just wanted my item when I was told I could get it not 2 days later after the order was purchased. Hint!
