I have never walked in here without a line! Last visit I asked an employee if this was the correct line to check out? And he yelled "do you see I am busy with packages?" Today, standing with 4 people -on a c circle on the floor that says "Amazon returns!" One man helping a customer, while over five people are standing . I observe, unemployed named Dory, just unpacking things and standing behind a register and not concerned about the crowd at all, and then she screams out "the Amazon returns are over there, not where you are!" Really? This store never has enough people working, and "some" of the workers stand around and look at long lines, or are disrespectful and rude. I had to fax some important documents. The young man behind the counter was too busy with his project despite seeing myself and another woman waiting. Howard helped me fax my documents and waited with me until I received the confirmation. He was friendly, helpful, and is definitely an asset to the company. Very appreciative for his help, and I'd go back to this location again because of him! My one complaint isn't the employees fault...it cost me almost $20 to fax 9 papers! I was assuming $10-11, but $20 was mind blowing! Not the employees fault, but definitely something to note if you have several documents you need to submit. read more

I went in to Staples today with a semi-tedious request for assistance to print things for my upcoming wedding. I brought the files with me but from the start, the woman working at the counter had an obvious annoyance at my presence. After repeatedly telling me "you know you can just do this online, right?" and sighing repeatedly as I attempted to explain how I wanted things to be printed, I decided that if someone was so inconvenienced by me asking them to do their job, they do not deserve my business and I left. I have never experienced such terrible customer service at this store in the past, but will not be returning to the store in the future after such a negative interaction. read more

I came into the store to print shipping labels from my e mail so I could send something back to amazon. I saw they did ups deliveries, at the store so I'm like , wow I won't have to make an extra trip. The girl at the print desk pointed me towards the self service area, where you email the item to staples, and you print it from one of the machines with a code. Ok, cool with me as it's cheaper than the pc. I stood there for a few minutes, and the e mail never came. So I said to hell with this, I'll use the pc, and do it that way. So I print my items, and wait at the ups desk, I stood there for a few minutes, and I was never even acknowledged. I can understand if you're busy, but at least say excuse me, I'll be right with you. One of the WORST Staples I have ever been to. The place is a mess and the workers are not helpful at all. Asked the worker where I can find folders and he just pointed into the air and said right there or there. Just another horrible experience...I sat online for 25 minutes watching the new hire trying to find her way while the entire time the active manager or person in charge did nothing to help. As I was limited for time and 25 mins with only 1 person in front of me should be more then enough, I reluctantly left the store never to return. I went to Staples today to get reprints of 10 driver's-license-sized laminated cards. Waited 20 minutes for the dumbass behind the counter to scan the images. Twice I asked her if she needed help. Twice she told me no...but continued to fumble with the computer. I bought an Acer Aspire V5 touch ( a monumental.piece of electronic TRASH) from here. A young man named, Bill, was helpful with the information and purchase. HOWEVER, I went back one week later to complain about the troubles I was having and a young man at the register informed "Of course, you're having trouble. That thing is a piece of garabage!" Excuse me? Unfortunately, nice Bill was not working that day. No one was at the Customer Service desk. One of the cashiers said she would be right with me when she finished with that customer. WHY the person on the floor couldn't stop what SHE was doing was beyond me. All SHE was doing was stocking a shelf and intensely avoiding eye contact. She looked like a manager! The cashier continued ringing up customers rather than helping me. I waited seven straight minutes, told them all to go on a honeymmon alone and proceeded to call Staples main Customer Service line. They apologized, took my information and made no attempt to follow up. So, now I'm stuck dealing with the barely-intelligible miscreants at Acer. This Staples is staffed by unprofessional imbeciles! Convenient location. I always drop off my ups prepaid packages here and have never encountered a problem. One issue here is that I have found the laser toners are more expensive than their online prices. i have been shopping here for almost 15 yrs. i typically spend over 2000 dollars per year. not alot but enough for my business. i have been returning ink cartridges every month. about a year ago i find some months i dont get the credit even if i make a purchase and some times i do. my sister recently told me the same thing for the last few months on her account as well. they take your used ink cartridges and never give you a credit. it seems i get a credit every other month but not what they advertise on their website. im at wits end with staples. i can provide proof as i have all my receipts showing the inks that i traded in for credit. we purchase over 500 per year on ink alone for the 3 printers we have. im so done with staples at this point. my sister even called the 1 800 number and they give her the run around telling her to contact the store. when you go to the store they tell you to call the 1-800 number so the same ole run around. the only choices they leave me is to close my account or call a lawyer im so frustrated. beware if you trade your ink in and make sure you get the proper credit. read more
