Staples deserves a ton of kudos during Covid-19, especially with the way they've been able to keep their online shelves stocked with a lot of the disinfectant necessities and precautionary items we've all been needing. Not only have I been able to find my family members items that are being ransacked off the retail store shelves that are still open, they aren't gouging the prices and offering quick shipping too! On top of that, their online customer support team has been super quick to respond to issues with any orders that I've placed. Easy Parking, Good Selection, Sale Items! Overall, this place is AOK. They have a good selection of items and the prices are AOK. I think my only issue is that I can walk around forever and never get anyone to help me. When I check out, it seems like the workers don't really want to be there. Good hours, freindly service and parking made this location excellent. It's proximity to a lot of good eats, TJ's and a mall made it superb. I really like this Staples location. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I always hear a nice hello when I walk in the door. Not only do I buy the usual office supplies (ink cartridges, paper, etc.) here but also school supplies. When I get the huge list of school supplies at the beginning of each year, it's so nice to buy all the items in one place. And the staff here is so helpful. Who knew (obviously besides my son's teacher) about the very cool designer duct tapes available and where to find it in the store? Well, the wonderful staff at Staples, of course! The staff here, at the Orange California store on Tustin avenue are very rude!! We purchased an unassembled desk chair a few weeks back. The piston that supports the seat was defective. We called the mfgr 800 number and they sent us the new part. We were unable to remove the old part, so my wife took it to the store asking for assistance. The person at the register very rudely stated that chairs only have a fourteen day return policy and that we were out of luck. My wife said we don't want to return it, but we wanted some help since they assemble some chairs. Again the employees were very rude and said they could offer absolutely no help. My wife went to the car and called the manager to explain the very poor customer service attitude displayed by the employees. After spending a couple of minutes explaining what had happened, there was no response and only dead air on the phone. It seems the manager had just hung up on her right in the middle of the conversation! Bottom line, go somewhere else for your office needs. The people at this store just don't give a darn! read more

Need some school supplies? A few new sharpies for work? maybe a few hundred thousand sheets of copy paper? well you can get all that chit here and then some. I have done some basic supplies shopping here. I have also gotten a lot of back to school stuff for my daughter here. They have it all just about. Seriously from sharpies to pencils to office furniture to 800 reams of pink paper. They got you covered. Pro Tip: Watch their sales and email discounts; the get you in the door deals are well worth it. The rest is not neccessarily worth it! The service here is fairly average. The staff will answer questions, but you may get bounced around a couple of times till they get the "right" expect to let you know what is up with whatever it is that you want to get. This Staples had such GREAT service and incredibly friendly staff!! Their aisles in the store were kept clean and the employees were busy while being attentive to their customers' needs :) I came here to buy printer ink and had no problem finding it, this location was so organized!! Various Staples locations have proved to me that they're not all equal although they may be the same branch. Upon checking out, the cashier at the front gave me a discount and then another 15% off!! I forget why but I think there was a promotion going on or because I was a Staples Reward Member. Usually the discounts come automatically but this time I got my 15% off along with another 15% off the cashier gave me!!! Such an AWESOME experience =) I will be coming back soon. Crystal is a phenomenal person. My little sister had to a project about anatomy that needed to be bound. Well things didn't turn out well, so when I had to fix some mistakes that my little sister made, she remade it and it looked perfect! We were so happy how it turned out. It was a a nice enough Staples. My biggest complaint was customer service. I walked in and I was greeted by two workers who were talking to each other. I walked over to the copy center where someone was sitting in the back on their computer. The two workers could clearly see me waiting and the guy in the back paid me no mind. After about 2-3 minutes of waiting I was finally helped. Once I was helped it was super fast. I just think their customer service could be better. read more

This has been one of the best Staples I've been to. As an avid Staples customer I've got to see several different Staples. This is the best I've been to thus far. I get most of my office supplies at this location now along with my printing work done. I would say that the printing work is expensive so use coupons... they are available quite often. I have a small art business and frequently come into this location to get prints of my artwork - every single time Robert has helped me out, I have been impressed. He manages to help everyone out, even when busy, as well as ensuring quality work for the people he is helping. Ordered online for 1 hour pick-up, got a confirmation number at time of order but no alert to notify purchase was ready. I came 2 hours later to check and staff said they didn't receive the order due to computer glitch. They found my order after checking and said it would be 10 minutes. I stood there looking at what I thought was my cart of products for 5 minutes before I finally asked "is that my order, it looks like it but are you guys still working on it?" Turns out it was ready for me and no one knew about it. Very poor communication among staff at this location. read more

So disappointed that Staples stopped recycling old batteries. We need to have more stores involved in recycling. The nearest recycling center is very far away and I think many people will just start throwing the batteries back in the trash. I was very grateful that Staples offered this.
