I only have praise for the Redmond store. I took my laptop in for repairs. Due to a couple of backorders on the part required it took 18 days to get it fixed but they kept me in the loop & only charged me $130 for a $300 repair to make up for the delay. read more

They have everything you need and then some. Unline the Staples in Alderwood/Lynnwood area, this one has super fine point Sharpie pens individually in a TON of colors. Other prices seem reasonable in the store, but really, I mostly only go for the colorful pens. :) read more

I went in search of 40 composition notebooks for a non-profit. Justin not only helped me find the right aisle but also pulled down more from stage when I couldnt find enough on the shelves at a sale price. When the new set rang up at a higher price he called a manager and explained. The manager granted the sales price and Justin helped me finish checking out. I was so impressed with their service and time. I will definitely come back to this store! read more

Good Staples overall. They just did a complete remodel and it is SO MUCH BETTER than it was before. There is a lot more space and the whole store is brigher and easier to navigate. The only problem I have now is that they have a ton of salespeople who all harass you offering "help." Ugh, it's so irritating when I want to go in and shop and not be pestered... now I feel like I'm walking into a Best Buy every time I go into Staples. read more

It is Staples, so it has a higher price for the convenience. I wish there was a Frye's nearby, because for the exact same price as you pay in Staples, you get a higher quality product/brand from Fryes. HOwever, when in Redmond and in need of a computer component, you are limited to Staples, Radioshack and the Mac store. read more

Worst customer service. I went in to look at the mice the day before yesterday. I gave the lack of greeting and any offers of help by any employees perhaps to how busy they were. Today I went in again. The store was dead. No one said hello when I arrived. I purposely walked by several employees who were chatting amongst themselves. Absolute garbage customer service. Every time I call there I get hung up on at least once, manager there named John doesn't have a clue of what he's doing. I was on hold for 20 minutes, he told me to give my # to him because he was too busy and needed to call me back to get me the information I needed. An hour passes and he still hadn't called me back, I call again and he said he couldn't find the information so he decided to just not call me back. Finally I talked to Sean the GM, and he was able to get the information. Every. Single. Time something like this happens. Oh and it took about 10 minutes just for someone to answer the dam phone. read more

I've always had great customer service here. Friendly staff, helpful and able to tell me where something is or lead me there and for that I want to give them a four. However, the EasyTech guys, while helpful, take way to long to get things done. I don't know if they are short staffed or what the problem is but both times I have used them it has taken me longer then it should to get my computer back to me. read more

Scam alert - bought printer online, had it shipped to store. Store says they don't have one. Called me next day and said they had one but I had to buy it in the store and they would refund my online purchase. Then they tried to charge me a higher price in-store because the sale price was web only. I said I already checked out on the web and you took my money. So finally in-store they gave me the web price. I have yet to see any refund for my online order. When I called them they said I picked up the printer so they can't refund it. I explained that the store made me pay again and they said that means the store has to deliver me another printer and then I can "return" it. What a scam. read more

"I placed an order online, and never received the order after 15 days! I went to check the status of the order, it showed that it was processing but the expected delivery date was 9 days ago! I chatted to a representative online who told me to contact the phone customer service since my order had been "CANCELLED"!!!! I was just furious! Called the customer service on the phone and apparently they had called my cellphone to verify my shipping address (I do not have the call in my missed calls list) and since I had not responded within 3 business days, they had automatically cancelled my order! I recently brought my computer in to be repaired. This location has worked on this computer and other computers that I have owned. They identified the problem and completed the repair. In the process, there was a failure to communicate on a repair plan that I purchased. When the error was pointed out they politely and professionally corrected the problem. The Tech person that helped with the repair, Myron, was excellent and very professional. Customer service, in the end, is what really matters and this is where I feel this Staples location excels. Won't take my computer any where else for repairs. read more

I was told the gift I'd gotten from my sister was from Staples. It's value was around $12, and since I didn't need it I thought I'd exchange it for something else there. It hadn't been opened. Ben (the mgr.) at first scanned it and said it didn't come from Staples. I made a call and verified that yes, it did come from Staples. After showing it to Ben from my cel phone (it had the item number on the Staples website), he agreed they did carry it but couldn't exchange it without a receipt or the person's credit card number. When it comes to gifts, rarely do we include receipts. So, I'm supposed to ask my sister for her credit card number? Really?? This should NOT have been a big deal. My husband and I won't shop there any longer. Ben has no customer service skills, and if this really is their policy - Staples won't stay in business long. ANY other retail store welcomes gift exchanges. If it were a high priced item like a computer or a printer I'd understand, but for a little $12 item? Ridiculous. read more
