I am surprised to see such a low rating for this location. Maybe I was just lucky as I had a wonderful and pleasant experience here. This is not my usual FedEx location. I came here because I was waiting to pick up a photo nearby. While I was waiting, I decided to drop off a package at FedEx to use my time in an efficient way. I have a FedEx account, so I already have my own shipping label. I only needed to drop off. I simply used Google and found this location. I scanned and I was about to put the package into the drop box, but then I realized that the box was kind of stuck at the entry. When I was wondering what I should do, a young man behind the counter saw that and offered to take that package for me. He was the only employee I could see in the store at that time. He was helping another customer for some packing materials, and he noticed that my package might be too big for that drop box. So I brought it to him. He was very friendly, and he greeted everyone coming into the store. It was very pleasant. If I happened to be in this area next time, I would be happy to come again. read more

I really like this store. All the staff I have dealt with have been great. I recently had Vishal Giurala help me with some international shipping. He was very helpful with the paperwork and it was a relatively easy process as a result. I would highly recommend this branch. Fedex is very competitive in terms of price for their express shipping - you have to use one of there express shipping boxes (which are free and come in a variety of sizes) but the 2-3 service is very good at a very good price. read more

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this FedEx location. The employee I dealt with, Vishal, was unprofessional, unfriendly, and seemed completely untrained. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted and felt ignored as he looked down, seemingly trying to avoid acknowledging me. Only after I stared at him did he finally look up, and I approached him with my prepaid package. Instead of simply scanning the prepaid label as expected, he asked for my ID--which is completely unnecessary for dropping off a prepaid box from my employer. He also asked for the value of the contents, and when I couldn't provide an exact figure, he insisted that I give an estimate. He then unnecessarily measured the box and tried to tell me it would cost $500 to send--even though it was a prepaid shipment. When I explained this, he claimed he needed the account number instead of simply scanning the label. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. I ended up leaving and taking my package to the Factoria FedEx location, where they scanned the label, handed me a receipt, and sent me on my way--no ID or unnecessary hassle required. Vishal clearly needs proper training on how to handle prepaid packages and on customer service in general. My experience at this location was a waste of time and incredibly frustrating, especially since I have a very busy schedule. I hope management addresses this issue to prevent other customers from having similar problems. read more

The ratio of customers to staff was literally 10 to 1 and let me tell you, the staff they had working that night was AMAZING! I stopped by today (9/29 at 3 pm) to get these oversized papers scanned into PDFs and wow... I was so blown away by all the three employees in there. All three of them were so kind and one of them helped show me how to use the machines to scan the oversized papers. She was really patient with me and was really nice. I was there for about an hour because I had a lot of oversized papers to scan and I noticed they treated everyone super nice and it just really had a positive energy/vibe in there. I haven't had such a great customer service experience in a while and I really hope all 3 of them get a nice bonus or raise. I'm not sure what their names are but whatever they're doing, I hope FedEx would continue to hire more peps like them! read more

EPSON PRINTERS EPCEPTIONALLY "THE WORST" I stopped in at the Bellevue Crossroads FedEx today to get seven letter documents copied, scanned and emailed, because my worthless Epson printer/copier/scanner, still won't print, despite replacing two cartridges. And now, nor will it scan or make copies. And no marvel, one employee at Rapid Fill Ink (see my RFI review) confirmed that Epson is "the worst" offender among copier makers that try to force you only to use their brand-name cartridges. GIVE BEN A RAISE! But FedEx employee, Ben, graciously bent over backwards for me today to help me do all this as I was not in a "higher consciousness state of mind". In fact, he did it all while I watched. (TRANSLATION: I was a nervous train wreck) In fact, after Ben had emailed the documents the first time, I discovered that I had them sent to the wrong email address because I gave him the wrong email address. Nevertheless, Ben resent them to the correct email address, and even subtracted the extra charge out of their computer, so that I was only charged once for everything. FEDEX TO THE RESCUE FOR ALL YOUR OFFICE EMERGENCIES This was not the first time I had stopped in here. I had stopped in here from time to time at least since 2000. And no marvel, they really do have everything (see my photos) you need to help you with your office related emergencies. They even have a restroom for orifice related emergencies. So if your worthless POS Epson (or any brand that frequently requires cartridge replacements) printer/copier/scanner fritzes out on you, never despair (like I did today, for reasons not entirely related to my Epson), as this looks like a job for FedEx. Nor was this the first time that I had an employee help me out. This is not to say that their employees will always be able to help you as they may be too busy. The asian rep at the shipping counter ( I really wish I had noted the name) was a real disgrace to the store. She was rude, very bad at communicating, was not ready to help or answer questions. It seemed like she got easily overwhelmed when there was more than 1 person at the counter. She seemed to want to shoo everyone away. Seemed like a newbie who was not willing to learn or find out more. Thank goodness she called her manager to help. Your typical FedEx Office (formerly Kinko's) location. It is across the street from Crossroads Shopping Center in a small strip mall. This part of 156th Ave NE is closed off so you can only enter from the southbound direction. And make sure to turn into the parking where it says entrance. The store is located in the space closest to the parking exit. I bought something from Walmart's online store and had it shipped to this FedEx Office for free. There was the option to pick it up at the Walmart Neighborhood Market, but I decided against it based on my previous experience picking up an online order there. Specifically, the customer service and wait being the biggest issues. They had to bring the package all the way out from the back of the cavernous store. The store pickup experience at FedEx Office was much smoother. They brought the package from the much closer back room. I was in and out within 5 minutes, just having to show ID and sign. Though more importantly to me, I did not have to lug the package too far to my car as it weighed a lot. If I buy something again online at Walmart, I would consider having it shipped again here as it is quicker and easier than picking it up at an actual Walmart store. read more

I needed to pick up a print job that I ordered and paid for online. The website said they closed at 6pm on Saturdays so when I got there at 5:17pm I was surprised that they said they were closed. They said they couldn't help me because the registers were closed. I advised them that I had already paid and the website said they closed at 6. I was told they changed the hours before Christmas and it wasn't updated yet. This is completely unprofessional. I will never trust them with an order again. read more

I came here with a pre-paid label and an item I needed shipped. I was second in line and waited while 1 employee was helping someone else. About 5 minutes later, the store manager came out and started helping me right away. She was very friendly and did what she could to find a box that would fit my item. About 5 minutes later she said I was all set and good to go. I appreciated how quickly I was helped. The only thing I'd take a star off for is that $20 seems very steep for 1 box with some bubble wrap. The shipping was already covered, so that seems double, if not more, than the price it should have been. read more

Kind of weird to write a review for a FedEx Office location. But really, I had a great experience! I went in, needed to search a couple web sites and print some things urgently. The lady at the counter totally helped me out, while helping others. She let me use her own thumbdrive so I could easily transfer to my laptop, helped me figure out the CHEAPEST and fastest way of doing everything, which I really appreciated. Just really great service to me, I wasn't spending hardly anything there, and she kept up with several customers all at the same time. I really wish I could remember her name to give her the appropriate kudos. But I will actually go back if I need FedEx services again, and I will pick that store because of the service I received. read more

I came here to get a passport photo which was like $16. First thing i noticed is the there are only couple people working so the wait a bit longer than other FedEx stores. But once it was my turn, the person took my passport photos pretty quickly. Maybe too quickly?!?? When i got my photo, i noticed that my head was too big in the photo, so I asked him about it. He said as long as my head is showing, it is ok. Well, I had my doubts but he takes lots of passport photos so he knows right? WRONG! I went to Seattle to get my passport and the photo was rejected!!! Ugh. Wasted my time driving there. So I got my passport photo at Omega photos which cost $13. I got my refund from FedEx. Even tho my passport photo was a FAIL, I am giving 2 starts since passport photos is not their core business. But don't get your passport photos at this location! read more

I had very bad customer service experience here. I have been chasing a package that has been failed to be delivered and all the lady said was that she could not help me. She was overall very bitchy and did not show any care, talking over me. I was really nice when I asked for some guidance. I needed to print some invitations that I had designed myself. I went in to get a price on the job and was greeted by David, who then quickly prepared a sample and a price list. It was a lot more expensive than getting it done online, but I am on a time crunch so I went with it. David saw my hesitation and gave me a discount, which I very much appreciated. He said they would be ready the next day, but within 45 minutes, David called and said they were ready to pick up. I'm very happy with the invitations, the quality, and definitely the service. I've been trying to complete this project for 6 MONTHS and after another fruitless call asking why my online fax hadn't gone through, I jumped in the car to look for CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dont bother just go to the ups store. I had a document and printed 5 coppies all of the coppies had the edges cut off and got charged $7. Went to the desk and told me becuase the document size they could not fit it on the paper even though at home i print them on standard size print paper all the time. After paying $7 for faulty useless documents i went to the UPS store across the street. They printed the document fitted to standard paper in 30 secinds. They didnWhat fedex said was not possible. Even though i told them i peint this document on standard size all the time. Also cost $2 less at ups then fedez. Saved me a hour trip home to go print these documents. Go to ups. This kinkos doesnt know how to work their machines. read more

My spot for doing self-service color printing, copying, and laminating. Here's a tip for saving money on color (or BW) impressions - which are typically around 50 cents an impression on the color copy machines with USB Drive Readers. However, on the computer, it can be 80-90 cents a color impression and in addition to the computer time to load the file, render it, and then print it. You're paying for processing time and color impressions. Here's my tip, I usually prepare all of my color jobs to be printed at once (before heading here), and convert them to Archive quality PDFs. Put those files on my USB Drive, and then waltz towards the color copiers to make prints. It can take a little longer to render the color files given the slow processing power of those terminals - but I think the savings are worth it. Besides, to kill time, there's always listening to music, or reading the Yelp Talk threads. There's also a laminating machine, works up to Tabloid-sized paper, and a large format sliding paper cutter, one of my favorite paper production tools to use. Because it's so accurate. One thing I don't like is how they are closed at 2100H, usually when this happens; it's time to make a trip to Lynnwood FedEx Office, on 196th / SR524, which is open 24H a day. read more

I went here to get passport photos for my two young girls. It was pretty much empty in there with one woman working behind the counter and another gentleman wandering. After I got my two kids unloaded and in the store, I asked if someone was available to take our passport photos. She quickly (and not that politely) told me they don't do children's passport photos. I had to ask her why and she said they're too hard. There should be some sort of distinction on their website if this is the case OR maybe she could give it a try before deciding it's too hard. I had to ask her where she suggested we go and she referred us to Omega Photo. Rude and unwilling to try. That's some pretty horrible customer service. read more

I came here 3 weeks ago and was "helped" by the sales associate with long red hair. Who was less than enthusiastic and annoyed that she had to help me. I asked how much express shipping was since I needed to get a toy to my nephew in Arizona. She gave me two options next day delievery at 100$+ dollars or next Wednesday which would be in 5 days for 10$. She then asked me if I wanted the package to be signed for without letting me know I had to pay an extra fee! I would later find out when's I called customer service that that's why my package cost more than 10$. She then tells me I can choose a delievery window and I chose 6-8pm. Well then the delievery person tries delevering in the morning. Because the sales associate didn't click the delievery window! So not only did she not tell me about the signage fee, she didn't even select the delievery window she told me about! So come now 3 weeks later my nephews toy is delievered back to me, I ask for the refund customer service told me I'd receive. The manager comes out and rudely informs me that that's not their job id have to call claims services. The people here are incompetent and I've filed a formal complaint with fed ex. If you must use them avoid the red headed girl at all costs! read more

The machines mostly work but help is non-existent. Thanks for reminding me that I could print color PDFs right from the photocopiers for half the price of renting computer time AFTER I was already done... annoying, since I asked BEFORE I got started about the best way to print color files. Lamination is cheap and easy... and that's what I do most there. It always feels like an empty ghost town in there until you need help, and then there are five people waiting for help at the counter. How does that happen? It's super crankypants, that's for sure. Gone are the days when everyone was here doing high-end paper stuff... now it's the freaks with odd projects (me) and square businessfolk making lots of copies, and some people paying highway-robbery prices for packing/shipping services. (Why?) Until I pony up and buy a color printer, I'll be here, but I'm not especially happy about it, and the lack of 24-hour access is icing on the almost-useless cake. I miss the days of 24-hour super-busy, well-staffed Kinko's stores, but I will also admit that those days were over 20 years ago. read more
