I'm glad that there's a place where you can Drop off multiple vendor packages. I had a stack for UPS, USPS & FEDEX. I hated that you have to pull the door open vs push. So annoying when you have tons of packages. Which of course dropped on the ground. This location doesn't scan in packages for USPS or FEDEX you just set them in the designated piles. They scan in the UPS but do not provide you a receipt just tell you to follow up online. read more

Horrible customer service. Attempted to drop off a FedEx package with QC code provided by FedEx only to be turned away by the shop owner. Was told to go and print out the label. UPS store has the ability to scan the code from your phone then print the label providing a receipt on the spot. When requesting a receipt, I was told to go to FedEx.com after 5PM today and figure it out myself. The shop is a small derelict, place not very inviting for friendly commerce. I wish her the best of luck, however, things for her must change. i have been a business owner in Bellevue for 38 years. I would give these guys a negative rating - instead of 1. I went to do international shipping by DHL. 1) I paid around $250 for shipping small containers of moisturizer (16oz). I should have checked the DHL site prior to going there. The actual DHL price quote, later I checked, was $133 for the weight and dimension. They charged 185% of the actual price. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS. 2) The lady inspected every single item and then told me she will do the packing the next day before DHL comes to pick it up. When my family received it, they told me there was NOT a single packing material inside - NOT a single layer of bubble wrap or anything. And the moisturizer containers were badly damaged and the moisturizer came out and it was a total mess. Such irresponsible people. I would NEVER give any business to these folks. read more

I used this company for their I9 verification service. They have contracted with Fieldprint to verify ID of employees before they start a new job. First visit, I provided my social security card and Washington Driver License. These are both acceptable forms of ID for an I9. The older woman entering the info seemed to not know the system well and couldn't get the ID entered in the system. Kept telling me I needed a passport which is not true. The forms of ID, I provided were acceptable. I suggested they should have received better training. She told me she had 2 months training. I can't believe one process requires 2 months of training? She never offered to contact someone to help her navigate the system. No "sorry for the inconvenience." Just handed me my id back. I spent 40 minutes driving home and back to get my passport. On the second trip, the woman seemed equally confused, but the process seemed to complete. I asked for a confirmation code and she said they don't get one, it would go through to my employer. I was not surprised when a day later, my employer had not received the verification of ID needed. I called Goin' Postal and asked that they resend the information. They said they couldn't and I should contact my employer to figure a different way to get my id verified. Hunh! That's why I went to them in the first place. I asked if I could come back in, they said I would have to make a new appointment. I kept pushing to have them step up and take responsibility to complete this transaction. The woman said, "I don't make any money doing this". Is it the customer's issue that she doesn't make money on this process with Fieldprint? The owner is foreign and didn't have a good command of the English language. I think this hindered her ability to communicate and navigate the system. Their overall lack of concern or attempt to reach out to Fieldprint customer service to help them was the biggest complaint. Just "it's not working you will have to try something else" They now have 3 copies of my important ID. For all I know they will use these for some illegal purpose or to hack my identity. They have terrible customer sevice and made no effort to reach out to the appropriate people to help them. Their name is appropriate. After spending 2 hours of my day with no results, one does end up Goin' Postal. read more

By far and away the worst experience I've ever had. Total communication breakdown with the one and only employee in the entire shop. I wasn't allowed to pack my package, I watched as she reformed the most inefficient packing method I've ever witnessed in my lifetime of shipping anything. On top of all this they charged me for any little thing they could find, this included there cheered packing peanuts purchase plan. In which you can only buy packing peanuts in blocks. Since I had no control over the packing of the item, I figured the item will automatically be under insurance since they were the ones that packed it. Are you kidding me with these prices? I came to ship something in a medium flat rate box, you know one of those 'if it fits, it ships' sort of deals. They charged me 18.50 to ship a medium box when it's normally about $11 at the post office. I understand a small mark-up/surcharge but that's outrageous!! Definitely my last time shipping anything there. I'd rather wait in line at the post office than give a penny to this place. 1 star for the convenience of dropping off prelabeled/prepaid packages. 0 stars on everything else. read more

Do not go here! I took two packages here in the course of a week. One sat in a sorting facility for 10 days and could not be located by the USPS. After they finally found it, they said that Goin' Postal had put tape over the shipping label so that it could not be read. Seriously? A place that is in business to ship things doesn't understand that a shipping label needs to be uncovered? Not to mention the price was outrageous. The second item cost me $50 to ship for some reason, but they didn't tell me this until after it was packed so I had no other option. It was a 2lb package, shipped via the ground. I took another one to UPS a few days later and they only charged me $12 to pack it and ship it further. Go to UPS or the Post Office, but do not go to Goin' Postal. read more

I came here a couple days ago to ship some old books to a friend who lives in New Jersey. The price I paid for the service seemed a little pricey at first (like, $36 something), but was definitely worth it because they took care of everything. From the packing to the actual shipping. The lady that handled my shipment was very upfront about the price of shipping, and was willing to answer any questions I had. This is the worst place to pick up a penske from, I ordered a 26 foot truck to drive down to Arizona for a friend a month in advance and when I show up on time to pick up the truck I was told they haven't even left to bring the truck me. When I asked if we have all the supplies I paid for I was told they don't and I'm SOL. Honestly the worst Penske experience I've ever had. I used Goin' Postal for a Penske truck rental, and would not recommend this to anyone. I reserved the vehicle via the Penske website, and unbeknownst to me or the site, this location doesn't do local rentals, only one way. They never have trucks onsite, only delivered to them. This is because they get ticketed having Penske trucks in their shared strip mall parking lot. This causes the owner to then ask you to drop the truck off late at night as to avoid his business getting a ticket. It is not the renter's responsibility to do this. The Penske website needs to not have this location be an option for local delivery, no matter what. It hassles the business, and in turn hassles the customer. Or the business just needs to drop Penske altogether, considering they do not have a designated spot to park vehicles. read more

Just went to this place to ship a DHL package. Asked her for a small piece of tape to tape my label on..... That will be 1.50 Place is a joke and always empty and the cashier has a terrible attitude. They charge these small fees all the time and they assume just cause people are already there they will pay it. I spent $10 on gas to go to Seattle just so I would give in to their BS charges. I decided to open a mailbox here and so my my experience has been great-- if not fantastic. I'm starting a business, and this location is perfect for it. Busy intersection and what not. Other benefits: I am able to receive mail from all the carriers. And Goin' Postal Bellevue calls/text me when I am expecting a package or letter. Great service by far. I just closed my PO Box. I highly recommend if you are new to the area or using this for business. Rent a mailbox here and you will get to know Bellevue and the Redmond area instantly. I've lived here for quite sometime, and I didn't know about this store until I went to ihop for breakfast. This little shipping store is a hidden gem in this city. They have everything: FedEx, ups, and the postal service! I came in to mail a letter... And I was amazed of how friendly they are. Just by the name I thought it would be a hassle, but boy was I wrong. If you are ever in town and need to ship anything... Or buy a box then you have to stop by and check this place out. Usually I use a postal contracting small business a bit further north but since I had another store I needed to visit in the area I decided to try Going Postal. I needed to mail a paperback book which usually costs around 2.50. The cashier at Going Postal told me the price would be 3.50. I asked her why it was more than mailing a paperback usually costs and she explained prices had been going up again. I'm assuming the additional dollar was some kind of an extra fee that she didnt want to admit to. At the other postal service business they always print the postage label out but she didnt - just wanted to take the package and the money. I didn't want to bother driving to another location so I went ahead and used going postal - but I sure wont ever again. Save yourself a few bucks in their mark up fees and use a different postal service. read more

I spent $500 to ship several boxes of iPads and received a call back claiming that there was a miscommunication and they charged me incorrectly and wanted an additional $250 to ship and that I can pay up or come back and cancel the order. My experience with GOIN Postal. I was looking for shipping from Bellevue to Bay Area ,stuff from a two bedroom apartment this was my first move in USA ,I got in contact with GOIn Postal they gave an initial quote of $1200 dollars for picking,shipping and help me in packing some stuff around 10 boxes,2 queen beds and couch and TV but i added a futon and extra box .The initial quote was givin by Asian Guy and then they charged me 1700 dollar for moving to Bay area 500 extra from original quote ,I thought OK atleast they deliver all the stuff properly to desitination instead they took extra time and also dropped a big palate in the first floor and i had to move everything to 2 floor all by myself ,everything was well packed though without any breakage,I do not want to judge them bad or good just wanted to let you guys know my experience and you can decide yourself read more

This is a one stop drop off haven! They offer all the carriers and even help identify which box goes where. I recommend at least bringing your own tape because they do charge a taping fee-- but what mailing/shipping store doesn't nowadays? I asked Going Postal why and their clerk said that the carriers do not supply them with drop-off materials (such as tape, packaging materials, etc). They have to use their own tape when customers drop-off packages... which is totally understandable. The post offices have been requiring customers to bring your own tape (byot) or buy a roll from them. At least Going Postal gives you option of them taping it (for a fee) or buying your own roll. read more

Very bad service. When the lady realized that I just came in to drop prepaid items, her smiling face suddenly turned down. And ever since that, she never smiled any more. I was holding two big boxes and then tried to put on the counter. She overlooked at the first box and use her eye to point out where I should put. I really couldn't get the clue at all. After I asked her for several times, she finally got out of her inner counter place and walked maybe three or four steps out and pointed at a hidden under table drawer and told me that's the place I should put. As for the second one, when I asked her for a scanned receipt, she said no, she couldn't give me. That's it! After reading the other reviews about the over charge, I'm not surprised now about her attitude towards me. Because I don't pay her anything. That's why she gave such horrible service. Really really bad experience. Although it's walking distance from my work place, I'll never go back there any more! Definitely try to avoid this place, even for drop offs! read more
