I've been taking my daughter here for the past year and am not impressed. The last time we went in for vaccinations the nurse came in opened my daughters file and then after looking over it told me she had no idea what vaccines she needed for that day. Another time I called in about her fever and the nurse asked me what I had been feeding her...I mentioned coconut oil (as I use it for her eggs) and she told me that it was an allergen because it's a nut...which it isn't, it's a fruit. Point being, I don't have much faith in the nurses that work there and have had little interaction with the doctors. To end on a positive note: you never have to wait more than 5 minutes which is really nice. read more

We had a very dissatisfying first experience here. After confirming our kids for initial wellness visits and verifying the time, we were told that our appointments weren't for an hour and a half after the time we had confirmed. After waiting for the almost two hours to be seen, they only had time for a 'sick visit' which incurred an unexpected higher copay for us. This was a brutal experience that made a 1 hour intended absence from school into a whole morning, kids melted down in the waiting room and left my wife crying. I called later to seek some explanation and was unable to find any sympathetic help. Transfer of care coming. read more

Over the last few months, my experience with the office staff is less than great; however, the on call nurse hotline is SO helpful and the ladies are so kind and explain things really well. We love Dr. Rich and Dr. Noah- they are the reason I haven't looked around for another pediatrician. read more

My little brother goes to Stapleton Pediatrics and now my husband and I use them for our daughter. I really love Danny and Dr. Brandon. They make sure all questions are answered and have even gone to the lengths of calling in a prescription for my daughter while we were on vacation. Danny is wonderful at quilling new parent freak outs to the extent of him calling me while he was out of town because I had some concerns about my daughter. I can't speak of them highly enough!! Tip: if you are a patient and decide to get your child's ears pierced, they offer in office ear piercing. read more

Love stapleton pediatrics. We see Dr. Rich and have been impressed with his care since our son was 2 days old and he visited him in the hospital. We especially knew we made the right choice in pediatrician when our son had an serious condition at 4 months and Dr. Rich followed along with his care at Childrens hospital and supported us by providing guidance..sometimes calling late at night when he knew we were waiting for test results. And just as important, the nurses and front desk staff are great! Our son has needed quite a few visits lately (probably a mix of first time mom and daycare) and I swear my baby starts giggling when we walk through the door because he loves everyone! read more

I have been taking my daughter there for a year now. I have had mixed experiences (good and bad) with the staff. My child is over due for her one year shot and I called to make an appointment. They asked me to wait for two weeks for the next available appointment which I think is ridiculous since they are putting her at risk. The owner needs to consider hiring more providers if they are this busy. I am switching to cherry creek pediatrics. read more

We love Stapleton Peds. They always get us in when needed and Noah is the best!! He is a combination of modern medicine and common sense. He takes a thoughtful approach, doesn't overprescribe and works with you to find the right fit for your family. My kids love him, Danny, the female PA (my 5 YO would remind me our her name- sorry!) and the entire staff, as do we. We went to Dr. Noah. I thought this practice seemed impersonal and too big. You have to book months in advance for your appointment or you could never see your doctor. In an emergency, you can't make an appointment with your doctor, talk to your own doctor and if there is a problem you get a call back from the on call doctor who has never met your child. You have a pediatrician but really it felt like we did not have our own pediatrician that could know our son and truly help us with the problems we were having. That being said, it's really nice to have a 24 hour urgent care associated with the practice that forwarded problems if needed. The PA's and staff were all very nice. The different doctors we talked too were all very nice. Just depends on what you're looking for. read more

I picked this practice for my newborn son, because in my childhood, I had been treated by Noah Makovski, a truly exceptional pediatrician and the main MD at Stapleton Pediatrics. However, Noah's always booked up (surely because of how great he is) so my son has not seen him since a check up in the hospital immediately after being born. Minus Dr. Noah, this practice is a joke. I had a few visits with another doctor who gave mediocre service and prescribed my son a baby version of zantac for excessive spitting up. The medication made no difference, so when I made a follow-up call two weeks later, I was expecting to receive a different prescription (my son wasn't keeping anything down and needed relief). Instead, I got a week-long game of phone tag. Every time I called, I'd be put on hold for an eternity, then the doctor would never be available, so I'd have to leave a message. I would either not get a return call or the doctor's assistant (yes, it was never the doctor who called) would call his Dad when I would leave my number, or vice versa, call me if I left the Dad's number, then leave a message asking me to call back. Around and around we went like this until I gave up and decided to address the issue at my son's two-month check up, just a week away. Meanwhile, in the mail I receive two bills for the appointments my son had previously. Um, hello? Did you not bill my insurance? I wrote it off deciding that if I received a second copy of the bills, I would submit them to my insurance myself. I show up for the appointment and one of the ladies at the desk breaks the news that my regularly accepted insurance has switched over to an insurance that is not accepted by the practice, so they couldn't see my son. Now this was an error with my insurance, so I don't hold the office responsible for it, but this lady was very cold about the whole thing - totally unsympathetic and offered no advice for what to do next. I called my insurance company that same day and requested to have my insurance switched back over so I could be seen at this office. My insurance company agreed to switch me back, although my insurance number would not reflect the change until the following month. In the meantime, I was given an authorization phone number to have the clinic call so my son could still have his 2-month check up at Stapleton Pediatrics. I call the office immediately and (after the traditional hold process) I book an appointment for the following week, explaining the situation to the receptionist, who said "That's perfectly fine." Fast forward, we walk in for our appointment today, get checked in, start working on the 2-month paperwork, and that's when I get called up. "Because the insurance number does not reflect the change yet, we can't see him." I offered up the authorization number and the lady behind the desk proceeded to tell me they don't call those numbers. Clearly sensing my irritation, she summoned someone else from the billing department up to the front to act as her parrot, repeating everything the first woman had said. I even asked that I be billed personally and I could deal with the insurance myself. The woman proceeded to tell me how "that would be completely illegal" (so wait, what about those two bills you already sent me???) She then reiterated that they "would not call the number and I would just need to come back next month." Thanks, but no thanks. These people have been such a headache, my son is almost 11 weeks old and still has not gotten his 2-month vaccines, and is still spitting up everything he eats - thanks to this place. Noah Makovski is a fabulous pediatrician, and it is truly a shame that he is associated with this clinic, because I've had to make the judgement call that it's just not worth it. I will be finding a new office ASAP so my son can actually be seen. read more

We have been taking our children to Stapleton Pediatrics for 4 years so I do not write this review lightly. My wife slipped and fell on ice while carrying my one year old and he hit his head. I called to ask them if he could be seen. They were not closed and I asked them if I could bring him in as we live 15 minutes away. The receptionist said that she was hoping they could leave a little early today and wasn't there somewhere else we could take him. I was more insistent that he needed to be seen. I was told the doctor said "just take him to the emergency room" because they wanted to go home. I asked if they were closed, it was reiterated to me that they weren't technically closed, but they just finished their last appointment for the day and they wanted to leave a little early. I mentioned that we have been going there for 4 years and if they cared this little about my son that I would have to find my children a new doctor. I was told "you do that" and then she hung up on me. This lets me know that we are just a number to them and that they have never cared about us or our children. I would not go back to Stapleton Pediatrics ever. read more

The front desk is rude and very unfriendly. They don't even greet you when you walk in the door. I stopped by to pick up a report from ENT doctor that they had referred me to and I stood patiently waiting to be acknowledged and I was by myself. Finally a woman asked me if I needed to sign in! Why would I sign in if I'm an adult? Its quite obvious that I had a question! Must be a very miserable place to work. I highly recommend Partners in Pediatrics! read more

The providers (PA and docs) have been good. Our main concern is that we seem to be routinely overcharged for things like blood draws (charged for a provider visit even though it was strictly a blood draw with a technician) and labs done in the office (double charged for flu tests). When we've tried to speak with the billing staff they just state that's how the doctors have told them to bill it. I would appreciate a better explanation and a refund when it becomes apparent the charges are excessive or questionable. Sadly, the "nickel and diming" has been a repeated pattern over the past couple of years and we'll likely be looking elsewhere for care because of it. read more

We love Stapleton Pediatrics. Dr. Noah and Dr. Brandon are friendly, professional, and thorough. They are very knowledgable and patient. Each time they ask questions and pay full attention to my children. They are also very cautious when giving medical advice, especially when prescribing the medication. The front office staff are very friendly as well. Dr. Noah's nurse is especially well trained in terms of giving shots to the children. She is precise and fast. Each time before my sons realized pain, she had already done with the shots. This made the dramatic moment very very easy. read more

Our experience at Stapleton Pediatrics was unbelievable. From the moment we parked the car, to our experience checking in, to our experience in the waiting room, to our time with the doctor, and the time we checked out, we were beyond impressed. We researched this practice in hopes of finding a new pediatrician for our 2 small kids. We did not have the best experience prior, so had extremely high expectations when we arrived. They did a great job making the waiting area, patient rooms, and even the parking lot kid friendly. The staff at the front desk could not have been any nicer. They made our kids feel at home and safe, which is so important in that environment. There are separate waiting areas for sick and well-children, which is also extremely important. When we didn't notice and took our well children into the sick area, the staff was paying attention and let us know immediately because they cared. While all of that was amazing, our medical assistant and doctor were phenomenal. Dr. Gustafson took excellent care of our kids. Everything he discussed was backed by research and care. He was incredibly kind, intelligent, and we know he will provide the best care for our kids. Instead of leaving in tears, as we did with our previous practice, constantly worried that something in our kid's health would be missed, we left with tears of joy. I'm not exaggerating. it's hard to read the negative reviews (although i realize a lot of them are older which is a good sign) as we have had all completely positive experiences here. i do feel like they have made some positive changes to the front office staff and that would have been my only complaint in the past. we have been taking our 3 year old there since she was born and our 18 month old twins since they were born also. we primarily see Dr. Rich but all of the doctors, PAs and nurses are amazing. highly recommended!! read more

This is a fantastic practice. We saw Dr. Noah Makovsky when he was at another practice starting in 2005, followed him to this practice and stayed at Stapleton Peds until we moved out of state. We saw several doctors, nurses, and a PA there and were always pleased. They are super friendly and supportive, I felt that they respected me as an educated parent and worked with me on things I wanted for my children, and the office is warm and inviting. My children liked going there. Now we are struggling to find a good practice in our new area and I realize what a gem Stapleton Peds is. read more

This Ped office is awesome! My kids have been going here for the past 3 years. If you are one of those mom's that refuse to go straight to medicine, than this place is for your kids. We don't take medicine in our home, unless it is the VEY last resort, and the physicians at this office respect me and my decisions for my kids. They will also help look up other alternatives if needed. My boys are at the age where the HPV vaccine is recommended by doctors. We have decided to not allow the boy's to get this shot. Although my ped recommended it, he wasn't pushy or made me feel bad for not going through with it. This office is one of the better pediatrician offices around. read more

Stapelton Pediatrics is an well-organized, responsive and extremely helpful practice. We have had an amazing experience with Dr. Rich. He is very informative, honest and comforting, especially during the transition into parenthood. My husband and I are both physicians and have very high standards for our daughter's health care and we have been very happy with the care that has been provided for us. All of our questions are answered thoroughly and any after hours concerns have been addressed in a timely and helpful fashion. We absolutely LOVE Dr. Noah! Unfortunately we have moved out of state and can no longer go to Stapleton Peds :( but I can only hope we find a doc we love and trust as much as Dr. Noah. I worry about everything and Dr. Noah was so great for this first time mama. He never made us feel rushed, took time to answer all of our questions, and took great care of our little guy. I love how they have a separate area for the newborns coming in for well visits. Yes, they are a busy place but if you plan ahead you should have no problem getting in. We so appreciate having him on our team guiding us through all of the first time parental worries. read more
