I am very…read moreticklish and after tickling me once, the nail tech acknowledged how ticklish I was and did not tickle again. This is soooo rare for me! I rarely can enjoy a pedicure because of tickles and leave more tense than it started. What a refreshing experience! I got a basic manicure and pedicure. As I was getting the manicure, it seemed the coats were a bit thick and rushed between layers. I didn't say anything, but I'm certain they were not dry between coats. Otherwise everything looked great by time I left. It was the next day my review began the downturn. All 10 of my fingernails had spiderweb cracks over the entire nail, after only 12 hours. I also noticed my toenails were different lengths. One foot with noticeably longer nails than the other. I'm going to need to cut them myself way before I was due for another pedi and that will, of course, destroy the end polish. I won't have time to go back for them to fix either within a reasonable amount of time to complain. I might return to give it another chance simply because the people were so awesome. **ONE MONTH LATER** I've always had natural nails. I've never had issues with peeling and my nails are usually strong enough that I've used them as screw drivers. After my manicure here, I noticed deep grooves across the nail and I can't get them to stop peeling or breaking. Long term this turned into the worst manicure I've ever had. I will not be returning. This is not how you treat natural nails.

My manicure was the most I've ever paid outside of a high end salon and the job was mediocre at best. The structure of the nails were wrong. If you look at photo of the pinky- notice how it dips down in the middle. It was like that to a degree on every nail on my right hand. They were extremely crooked and the painted tips very uneven. I returned the next day for repair and they were very gracious. Unfortunately, the repair was also subpar. They did not replace the gel but ground it down so now they are extremely flat and extremely thin. That means they will not last the 3-4 weeks they're supposed to. When I asked the guy if he was going to rebuild it, he laughed at me and started talking to the lady beside him. She said- "that dip is normal because you have tips on." And I said, "Really? Because it's not like that on the other hand." So, a little rude and just okay. I'm not offended but I'm also not going back.

I was referred here by one of my clients. It was a beautiful facility. The lady at the front desk…read morewas very nice. I asked for one of the two people to do my nails that I had been referred to. Neither were available. They put me with Peter. Peter seemed very nice, he talked me into getting powder rather than the hard gel. He began to work on my nails with his drill. He was very rough and looking around as he was doing my nails. Needless to say, he was hitting all my cuticles and messing them up. He did this a few times. Then he said sorry when I pulled my hands away from him. I said you are hurting and I usually am pretty tough about these. But you're not supposed to take the drill onto my skin. He said I was too sensitive. I told him I was not sensitive, but that he should not be drilling on my skin. When I started bleeding, he threw stuff burned horribly. And then kept working on my nails. He then took my nails way shorter than what I asked for, but it was too late to change it at that point. he slowed down,a little but then he got rough again. Normally I would leave, but I was in the middle of my nails being done and did not want to walk out like that. I should've said something to the lady at the front, but I don't think she had any authority. There was nobody hardly in there that day except maybe two people. It was way overpriced. Go to Tulip Nail Spa. Knoxville. Tulip has been professional and nice. They have never damaged my cuticles like Peter did. I was bleeding when I left there on multiple nail beds. I even had to start soaking my hands every night, and putting Vaseline on them until they healed. Don't go here, and if you do, do not use Peter.
