They had to order a part that would only take 30 minutes to arrive (crazy fast), but I decided to come back a couple of days later. I stayed in my car and it only took 5-10 minutes for them to swap the part out and I passed my smog check after. I've used him 2.5 years now, lots of repairs from complete fully replaced breaks to spark plug gasket replaced, full alignments , oil changes, he even found an oil leak NO ONE could. I highly recommend taking your car to Star Auto Center after 2 visits. My son and I came to Star Auto Center today because I was advised by I thought another respectable auto shop that advised my son the alternator needed to be replaced but I had just had it replaced by Star Auto Center about a month prior. I was fairly upset because I didn't understand why it already needed to be replaced. Star Auto was patience with my frustration and rechecked the car right away and found that it was actually another issue and fixed it right away. It's very hard sometimes to trust a mechanic when you have been taken advantage of before but Star Auto Center was quick to resolve the issue. read more

He went above and beyond to ensure that my car was in working order, even found engine problems that past mechanics failed to spot.
