Would not recommend for body work or paint. Maybe okay for something simple like a tire fix, but absolutely avoid for any paint or bodywork. My car was returned with mismatched paint, a heavy orange peel texture, and visible sanding damage to an adjacent panel that was poorly covered with touch-up paint. The vehicle was also returned dirty, with white sanding dust caked into the front grille. Also car was damaged parked on street. The entire experience was disappointing and felt like a waste of time. yesterday I called to get a quote to changing my front brakes on my Cadillac - they quoted me 80 bucks for it. So when I got there, they told me that I didn't need new breaks that I just needed to resurface the rotors. So I was OK with that. so they picked up my car and started changing the brakes and surface the rotors I specific told them not to change the brakes at the end of the service they charge me $130. And when I left from the shop , My car was shaking more than it was before. I took it to a different shop and I was told that the brakes were put on backward.. don't ever go to the shop worst service ever! if I could I would rate this place a zero!! read more

I took my car here somewhere between 1 1/2 years ago to change the oil pan that had hard locked bolts. They were able to change it within two days however, my husband noticed after that there was a considerable amount of leakage whenever we would drive it and park the car. For the past 20 years I've had this car. We've never experienced a leak until they touched it. My husband checks the oil regularly and since then the oil gets depleted completely where there's absoluteley no oil left in the reserve. That has never happened until they touched it. read more

Took my car here during lunch to have a nail pulled from my tire and get it patched. Drove up and asked how much? Steve, one of the mechanics said it would cost $20.00 to do the job. As Steve proceeded to take the tire off and asses the damage he came across 3 other nails and screws in the tire. He told me it's probably going to be more than 1 patch and said he'd have to charge me $30 to do the extra work. After pulling all the screws out, it turns out that only 2 had actually gone all the way through and caused damage. Steve did the job in 20 mins. Patched both holes and replaced the tire. On top of that, he honored his original quote and only charged me $20.00 for the job. I tried to offer him a small cash tip on the side for his honesty and workmanship, but he refused. I had a slow leak I was supposed to be watching...but my busy (everything for the show, before ANYTHING for myself) production industry job made me forget and next thing I know, I'm on the 170fwy and feel the flat. I pulled off to a gas station to fill it with air & could see I drove too far on the fat, the tire was dead. So I googled tire shops & this place was a block off the freeway! I did not have time for this! I told the guys about my time issues. So, in just 20 minutes & only $40 later, I was back on the road with a perfectly good, barely used tire (my choice to go used) that is the exact same make & model as the Lexus issued flat tire I drove in on! I'm 41 years old and this was one of the worst experiences at an auto repair location I've ever had. A simple fix turned into an all day fiasco. I was advised by the AAA truck driver to divert to this location instead of the dealership and suggested by the AAA dispatch. I drive a Prius and the 12v battery was possibly dead (can only be purchased via Toyota). There is possibly an inappropriate connection between teh driver and the owner of this shop. I was dropped off and told I had to pay an $85 diagnostic fee to get my car checked. I was also treated very rudely upon arrival. The owner was obviously hoping it was the alternator and rudely questioned me about it. I told him he'd have to use that money to find out but both myself and the first AAA battery truck driver agreed it was the battery. Two hours later I was called and told it was indeed the 12v battery that needed replacing "at least." and that would take several more hours. 6 hours later and nearly $300 in debt to this shop the owner "forgot" how to apply the AAA discount properly and I had to do the math for him. He was consistently rude during the entire process. Also for some reason they tossed the entire contents of the back area of my car into the back seat and created chaos when I had to retrieve the car and load my child into the back seat. I would not ever use this shop again. I regret letting the AAA driver talk me into changing the plan to go to the dealer. read more

I was a long time (and happy) customer of this place until today. I would imagine that most business owners would value customers who have literally been going to them and sending them referrals for nearly ten years. That is not the case here. I took my car in yesterday because the check engine light came on. I called today to find out when my car would be ready since I hadn't heard from anyone all day. The guy on the phone told me it'd be ready in an hour. When I showed up almost 2 hours later, my car's hood was still open as if it wasn't ready. The real issue, though, was that I discovered damage to my front bumper that was not there when I dropped the car off yesterday. I brought this to the attention of the owner and he repeatedly denied it even though it was plain to see. (Happy to provide photo evidence of the damage) To top it off, the repairs cost $100 more than he told me they would on the phone just 2 hours before I arrived. How did the cost jump that much if they only had an hour of work left when I called? I have been a loyal customer but I will not be returning as I find all of this totally unacceptable and unprofessional. If you decide to use this place, get your estimate in writing and be sure to take clear photos and videos of your car before you drop it off! read more

My Dad has an automotive shop in Texas. Therefore my Dad seriously distrusts mechanics. I had power steering go out on my truck last year, and it was covered by an insurance system shops like my Dads and A&B carry to guarantee their work. I took the truck in and needed a quick turn around because I use it for work. Jack made sure it was prioritized and I got it within the day free and clear. Cut to new more complicated issue. I did some diagnostic work on a stalling issue, and replaced the easy to replace parts like the control arm before I grudgingly took it in. A&B's bid for the work was a fair price for parts and labor, and they turned it around within a day, before calling me to come out and pick it up. I paid for a LYFT went to the shop, paid for the work, got my key, got in the truck and it wouldn't turn over. I was upset, but, sometimes with automotive errors they can be intermittent and it's not the mechanics fault because the error doesn't occur when they test. Jack was more upset than I was. Apologized, and told me they were on it. When he calls the next time, I again pay for a Lyft, and again it won't start for me. I'm more upset now, but when I tell Jack, he is Way more upset than me. I get a call later as they look into it and it's decided that it has to be the computer for the engine at this point (expensive) and there's going to be an ordering issue through L.A. Dodge dealerships the back log will be 5 weeks. AHHHHHH!!!! I ask if it's okay if my Dad sends me the part cause he can get it faster if it's ordered through Texas instead of LA. (To a mechanic this is the equivalent of going to a fine restaurant but bringing your own cut of meat for them to cook) but I ask, and Jack says that's fine, let's do it. Throughout the whole process the shop was easy to work with, never defensive, and quick to take all appropriate actions to get me back on the road. Today I picked up the Truck expecting to be out for the Lyft rides as well as labor for installing the part. Jack hands me the key and waives off payment! I have Never had a shop where they didn't at least Try to charge labor. Mine was a unique circumstance, but still... knowing how shops work... very impressive. I will recommend them to friends, and for any issues I can't fix myself, this is where I'll be going. Good people can seem rare in L.A. I usually don't write reviews but I want to share my experience so people can avoid coming to this place. I took my car there for the first time and I wasn't happy with the service I received. They take advantage of people that have no knowledge about cars. They speak in Armenian all the time in front of their costumers who don't understand the language, very unprofessional and rude since we don't know what they're saying. They also have some promos and coupons on their website but when you ask about them they always say that they're expired YET they're still on their website without an expiration date, how convenient!
