‼(SCAM) (SCAM) (SCAM) You are not desperate enough to bring…read moreyou car to Jay's I brought my 2013 Countryman s to get an oil leak fix after I got it diagnosed at Loveland Mini when they told me it was the rear main seal and the front crank case seal Jay's tells me that they will have to diagnose and charge me $250 to do so After a week they call me and tell me it's my oil pan gasket and immediately I know this is inaccurate but went ahead and paid $2400 for the repair 2 weeks later my car is dripping oil and I can smell it burning off the exhaust pipe I drop it off again and After one week they call me to tell me the oil pan gasket is still leaking even though it never was to begin with and they advise that the rear main seal needs to be replaced and it would be $3500 after I already shelled out $2400 for the none existent problem they supposedly fixed at that point I did some investigation and after reading all the reviews I finally got it They are a huge SCAM no sympathy for their customers they are out to get as much money out of people and SCAMMING at every chance they get Bottom line I'm out $2400 and my car is still not fixed Will not recommend to my worst enemy stay away and find a mom and pop shop wanting to make a living Jay's sucks Thank you for nothing (SCAMMERS) Even if they offer to fix my problem for free I wouldn't come back and now I will push to not even bring company vehicles in for anything from the company I work for let's see who loses more.

BEWARE! I have had my jeep for 12 years and while I have had some problems, it has been pretty…read morereliable. That was until I brought it to On the Side. I brought it there less than 3 months ago to have them check out the whole car to see if there were any issues. They, of course, found some issues and charged me about $2000 to fix them (ball joints, tie rods, spark plugs etc.) This was after they were supposed to have fully checked the car. I had them do all their recommended fixes, which included fixing issues with the radiator that they said were needed. Well, that is where the issues started! About 1.5 weeks later, my clutch fails without any warning. My clutch has been fully reliable and solid up to that point, no signs of wearing out. So I go back and pay them about $1500 to fix that issue. Or course, maybe a coincidence that they did not find it during their checks. The car also had some issues with the gear going into reverse that were not fixed by the clutch replacement (they claimed they did not even find it after fixing the clutch), and their response was "well, that's just a jeep". (This was their first point not standing behind their repairs). A few weeks later I go to have the oil changed and they tell me that my car is a couple quarts low on oil. Shouldn't they found this on their review of the car? (I would think so, but when I brought this up with Angelo, he said "well, we didn't check the oil".) I brought it in for a full review and they did not check the oil!?! They had done almost $3500 of work including a work-up of the car and did not EVER check the oil? OK, I let that one go too, and then a some weeks later the radiator fails - cracks and fails completely! They had just worked on the radiator and did not see any issue that would lead to a total failure? And when I brought it to them, their answer was "radiators fail all the time... when it rains, it pours". Really? Maybe it should be better stated, when you bring your car to On the Side Automotive it pours. That was the last straw. I have had good and bad mechanics in the past. Good mechanics stand behind their work and never seem to generate new issues on the car after they work on it. Bad mechanics never stand behind their work and seem to, as if by magic, generate consistent repairs on a car. Angelo seems like a nice enough guy, but based on my experience, I would not trust him with an oil change unless you want a major repair in the near future. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I feel a lot of shame...

Had these guys do a head gasket repair on my Subaru in 2019, and have brought them additional work…read moreon my girlfriends car over the years for brake jobs and whatnot. After they completed my engine repairs my serpentine belt began to squeal and my AC was drained. I've had them replace the belt 3 different times since the repairs, and it's continued to squeak each time. When I called in today to remind them that they never refilled my AC and that I was on my way in so they could make it right, Stuart became angry and began to yell at me to which I responded by hanging up immediately. I'd sooner pay someone to fix your mistakes than ever bring my vehicle back to Stuart's shop, which is what I'm now doing. In March my girlfriend brought her 4Runner in cause she was having what we thought was an alternator issue. She was told after they did a diagnostic it was in fact just her battery. When she went to interstate to get a new battery they also did a diagnostic and told her it's the alternator not the battery. The man at interstate battery also said that whoever had done the initial diagnostic wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree. You literally plug it in and the computer tells you what the issue is... Unless you like wasting time and money, or being yelled at for asking someone to fix something they broke, this is not the garage for you. Stuart should remain in the garage, and not be allowed to talk to customers because he has the communication skills of a 6 year old, no wonder he has his mom answering the phone for him. He doesn't just replace broken parts with new ones, he uses his experience, common sense, and intellect to improve upon what caused the problem in the first place. I took my 1999 Jeep Wrangler in for a really bad vibration - rear driveline. The CV was worn out. I had problems with this for many years and even had the transmission rebuilt. Eric had a custom manufactured, heavy duty CV with critical balancing technology made for my specific vehicle. After spending in excess of $10K in Phoenix over the past 12 years to get rid of steering wheel vibration, Eric has my jeep purring at high speeds. Windsor Diesel is the only shop in the four corners that I will take my 1998 Dodge Dually (Cummins engine) and my 1999 Jeep Wrangler to for any/all repairs.
