I can't speak to dry cleaning here and maybe that service is fine, but they sewed all of my uniform ranks on two jackets visibly crooked and with wrinkles under the patches from the fabric not being straight when the ranks were sewn on. When I asked the owner (middle aged man) if he could sew them on straighter, he insisted that I was wrong about the way that they looked on the sleeve. He argued with me for at least 5 minutes over it. He ended up fixing the rank but after the hassle I ended up paying another business to fix my other jacket. The prices are about the same as other local businesses but having to pay double and take them somewhere else made the overall value pretty low. As a business owner, you really shouldn't advertise or accept payment for work that you're unable to do. I would have appreciated it much more if he had just told me he could only do tailoring and dry cleaning, or offered to refund me for the service but arguing with the customer over a service that was paid for and clearly not received is pretty bad business. I would not recommend this business to anyone and I will not be back. read more

Service: The gentlemen working there is the second owner of the store. This store has been open since 1971 assisting Marine Corps and Navy servicemen with their uniform alterations. In addition, any services that MCB Camp Pendleton won't do, they will do it. Definitely a good alternate place to bring your service uniforms and receive quality results. I had a good experience here twice, first with altering two dresses for the marine corps ball and then second with them dry cleaning my husbands dress blues. It is hard to find a reliable tailor in the area but they did not disappoint. The lady quoted me a price for alterations and when I came in the man actually gave me a better deal. I called in and asked if i could drop off a maxi dress and if it could be cleaned before the end of the day. The gentleman on the phone said sure bring it in. A fifteen minute car ride later I bring the dress in he says that he doesn't do dry cleaning on Fridays. He had no explanation as yo why he told me two different things. He could have simply stated that he was unable to fulfill the request instead he wasted both our times when it could have simply been stated over the phone. read more

I dropped off 14 pair of pants and 2 jogging pants in which I wanted them to make them into shorts. Instead of measuring them, I gave him a pair of my Jordan shorts and wanted them to be the exact same length. My wife picked up the dry cleaning 4 days later and when I check them, none of the shorts were in there. I went back to the dry cleaners and the owner (older gentlemen) told me that he doesn't have my shorts. He insisted that my wife picked them up. I told him that I checked every item and the shorts weren't there. Finally, after calling me a liar, he went in the back and came back with my 2 pair of jogging shorts. When I checked the length, I noticed one was a bit longer than the other. As I pointed this out to him, he told me it's just a little and that I shouldn't complain. I had enough that day and walked out. Today, 9 January 2019, two days later, I remembered that he never gave me the original Jordan shorts (the ones he was taking the measurements from) so I stopped by his store. When I told him the situation, he again called me a liar. He was very confrontational when he took me to the back to show me the shorts weren't there. He yelled "I don't need your shorts", I said "that is fine, I need my shorts". He then put his finger in my face and started yelling at me. His wife got in between us, as I was telling him that I was a customer and he should calm down. I told him to not worry about the shorts, and I will not be in this establishment again. He then picked up a chair as I was walking away, as if he was going to throw it at me. His wife got in between us again and pulled on the chair. Since he couldn't throw it at me, he threw it to the back of his shop. I immediately left the area, went home and called the police! I am waiting on them now. Please listen to this review, be careful if you have a disagreement with this guy. He will attack someone, just like I read on the other reviews. I am a retired military man, and so disappointed that he is taking our money from our military with bad customer service as this. read more
