Well that's exactly what I'm currently doing. They have great customer service. When I called to inquire about the hours the lady I spoke with on the phone was very kind and courteous. The nail tech offered me water. I came in for a pedicure. And when I left I was upset and dissatisfied. Let the picture speak for itself. 1. I showed a picture of what Shape i would like my nails. Very happy about my experience here!! I showed up at 8:45pm because I saw the open sign on driving by and they welcomed me in. Lisa and her dad Lom were fantastic. Very thorough, detailed, friendly and fast! They did my mani pedi at the same time, complete with a foot, hand & back massage. A little over an hour for the whole shebang. I got an underarm wax done here by Lisa and she was super awesome ! I came as a walk in and she got me in right away. I always dread waxing but she made me feel comfortable and checked to make sure the warmth was okay and I was doing okay with pain. Come to the end of my visit and she brings me fruit,potato's and an onion as a gift. And this was after I already paid so this was undoubtably out of the kindness of her heart. My wax was done well and having service done by people with great hearts is even better !! Truthfully I was feeling a little down before my visit so this completely warmed my heart. I asked for matte black stilettos and received shiny black almonds that are coming off Sunday when I got them Friday... Dude who started my nails cleaned my nails individually and then very deliberately wiped my scraped knuckles with acetone or some shit. Burned so bad and sad completely uncalled for and unnecessary. I was hesitant to go here because of previous reviews however I saw that their sign said under new management so my sister and I decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint! We both got a deluxe pedicure and they took their time and gave a nice long massage. I wish I got the girls name who did them I believe she might be the owner though. I am very, very unhappy with the shellac nail job I had done by the female. She told me 5 or 6 times, shellac last long time, you get, it better. Its the worst shellac I have ever had done and lasted less than a week. When I went back she didn't want to listen, only argue and yell. So I asked her if she was going to fix it and she said no. This place is a chop shop. Do not go there! It has all the issues and annoyances that you can imagine in a nail salon/butcher store. The asian women who work here are loud, rude, and talk about you blatantly in their language. Then if you ask them a question they will pretend they can't speak english but when it comes time to bill you - funny how quickly they can speak english. Hmm... They rush you through pedicures, the massage is weak and they seem to take a lot of pleasure in scraping the calluses quite violently. I got gel nails put on and they sliced my fingers up not once but twice. They really don't deserve any stars. The service is terrible, the end result is a bloody mess and they charge way too much. This is the worst place to get your nails done!!!! Really it is!!!! I came in with my daughter and we both had full manis and pedicures and I got a full set. The staff seemed annoying that we were there and they lady messed my nails up big time.. she sanded them down to a nub and they were uneven. ...I paid and tried to have her fix the nail but she said "its fine its fine" I never get upset with my nails but these were terrible.. After I left I stopped at Vina Nail just down the road and they fixed them!!! The best part about my terrible visit is that I found a nail salon I love VINA NAILS ALL THE WAY... I WOULD NEVER GO TO STAR NAILS AGAIN EVER!!!! It was also dirty the longer I stayed the more I noticed it!!! GROSSS read more

Do not, I repeat do not get your nails done with this this lady!!! She is very impatient and rushing thru the whole process doing a crappy job, she left our nails deformed looking and the nail polish was clumpy she was ask to correct it and just started talking fast in her language and was pissed off walking away. The only thing I can say is the pedicure from her husband was pretty awesome except the nail painting job was so crappy I can see my natural nail. It really sucks you go to these nail shops thinking their professionals but at the end of day all they care about is upgrading you their expensive services to make money off of you. read more

Don't go to this place, if there was a negative star I would rate them that. So I walked in to this nail salon full of hope that they will do a good job with my nails. I opted for a regular manicure. I am still upset how they did to my nails, I cannot believe they chopped my skin around my nail fingers, they butchered my fingernails alright. The Vietnamese guy who rarely speaks English did not know how to do nails at all. They tried to sell this Shellac for $32 Usd but then I saw one customer who seemed pissed off with her shitty nails walking out the door, I knew then that I do not want that Shellac, I'm surprised their business is still up and running if they have been doing poor jobs for people for years. read more

I know there are a lot of bad reviews on here, but I wouldn't go anywhere else for a pedicure! They take the time to really massage your feet and legs and they are always friendly and polite! They know me by name (even though I only go every 3-4 months). I would highly recommend them! read more

Worst job ever! The lady doing my manicure was outraged that I would get a simple manicure and not a shellac job. The pressure was worse than my teenage years. She proceeded to do a job that only a Parkinson's patient or a small child could accomplish and wondered why I wouldn't pay her. She yelled at me in Thai and told me she "would fix." If you want a manicure better than what Star Nails can do for you, call my 3-year old nephew. read more

12/4/11 Went for Shilak - What a disappointment!! Not only did the polish end up not drying correctly but when I asked for it to be fixed there at the shop the lady laid on more polish over the already "problem areas". It's been two days and the polish has not dried completely..... meaning that it's so thick that it nicks and tears. 12/6/11 I just called them and the man, who claimed to be the manager, told me that we would have to come to the shop and they would fix the areas. I requested that my CC be refunded however he claimed "no refund" to me. I then asked for the owner and was told that he lives in CA. I was refused his contact information. My next move - calling the bank to have the charges reversed. I'm highly disappointed! read more

I love Star Nails!!! Lee and Tina are the best. They are a very good team, and I would recommend them to any and all of my friends. Sometimes there is a wait but it is very worth it. They are willing to learn, and open to critiques to make their salon a better place for their customers. The re-model makes it look open and bright. They have more colors of Shellac (for those of you posting on here that do not even know how to spell) than any other salon I have been to, or heard about and the pricing is way better and appropriate. For those posting negative reviews (I happened to be in there when one of these people on here was there) and you are a horrible person trying to take advantage of good people just because you think they don't understand.
