I picked it up right…read morebefore they closed for an early start in the morning. when looked over the splitter before leaving there is a pin that holds the splitter in place for travel. the keeper that keeps the pin in place could not be the original. on the way home the fastener that keeps the keeper in place came off causing the splitter to stand up while driving. I stopped I fixed. the Splitter worked ok. When I returned the splitter I let the guy behind the counter was very rude especially when I told him about the pin coming loose. He said they never had a problem before. I told him that there was no way it was the OEM locking system. He irritated that they never had a problem. on my way out I looked at another splitter that was the same and it had another jury rigged keeper but different. The hours of operation is another reason I will never use them again. I went there because the cost was cheaper than Home Depot. They close much earlier this means the cost is much more over all because operating hours. Home Depot 125.00. Johnson Creek rentals 175.00 advertised price less but it costs more and equipment is old and safety of equipment is not a concern judging by the person that checked me out. I was hoping to use a smaller more local company when I went to Johnson Creek rental.

When it came to the pickup? My then-fiancé went to get the generator, and of course these guys had no desire to ensure the machine was loaded with the wheels perpendicular to the windshield, and didn't bother helping her secure with the ratchet straps we had. It rolled back and blew out our windshield. And when my fiancé asked if they would cover any damages due to their negligence? They laughed. Normally I would suggest supporting local businesses, but I would rather direct all tool rentals to big box stores than these rude guys.

He suggested that I tampered with the hitch after I pulled out of the site in an attempt to get money from him. His insurance company denied my claim as I signed a waiver for any potential damage to my car. His trailer hitch mechanism failed and its my fault. Avoid this scum bag and his garbage equipment. Reading his reviews this isn't an isolated event. Low morals and not value of repeat customers.

The girl at the office (apologies, I didn't catch her name), Juan, and Daniel were all very helpful and very friendly. It was my first time using an excavator, but Juan took the time to show me how to operate it and helped me get it through the gate into my backyard and change out the buckets. When I went to pick it up the install fee was almost double the price with no communication as to why, I had to pay it to get my equipment released. I moved on, so I thought. The wiring has caused issues with the turn signal and break lights only on the bed plug they installed. They will not warranty their work to correct it and make it right without charging you more for a terrible install they have done. I would recommend highly that you DO NOT take your equipment there to get work done on it. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way and can only help those looking for quality recommendations. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!
