This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a body shop used by a car dealer. When I arrived to pick up my car, 1/2 of the repairs that were quoted in my insurance documents were not even done. VERY apparent repairs like NOT painting the damaged front of the vehicle....for starters! New parts were never ordered instead he painted over old parts then claimed they were new. Was never able to provide proof or show me the old part he "replaced". Reason being, he NEVER did it. When he "fixed" the paint on the front and returned my car the same day to my job (after waiting 6 wks for it), I noticed all the internal damages, my car was making a serious noise, brakes were not working well and air was coming in from the door. I was SO stressed out driving home!! Roman then tried to say the seats, door and panels were already ruined. He sent me pictures of updates on my vehicle where he had heavy equipment inside my vehicle on my LEATHER SEATS! Who does that?? This vehicle had 15k miles, no kids ever sat in it and it was not used for transporting anything that would have cause any interior damage. Since I had proof of how my vehicle looked right before it was towed to the bodyshop, the dealer made arrangements to have everything repaired by someone else. I was NOT going to allow my vehicle to return to this fraudulent scam artist who takes advantage of insurance companies and people! Now, I'll explain why Roman is the MOST offensive, rude, uncivilized and unprofessional person I have ever encountered. And that says a lot living in NYC for 25 years! When I arrived (with a gift for him and treats for the staff), and I saw all the damages that were still existing....I asked Roman about it in disbelief! He proceeded to yell at me on the top of his lungs telling me not to question him and that those things were not in the quote. That I would have to pay extra for all the details I was pointing out. He continued to yell at me and tell me that he doesn't do bad work and has a high end shop. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? WHO DID HE THINK HE WAS YELLING AT A CUSTOMER THAT HE WAS TRYING TO SCAM??? When I pointed out in the documents I had printed what was on there and he messed up...he continued to yell and I told him NOT to speak to me that way! I was SO upset that I called the dealer and demanded to speak to a Manager. My car was brought in the first week of January 2021 and I picked up my car ending of Feb 2021. Because of Roman's carelessness, I didnt get my vehicle back til July 2022. I was without my vehicle a total of 7 months due to all the damage this body shop created. Roman's Star Service body shop created an additional $20K in damages. NEVER EVER EVER come to this place. I have NO idea how this place is in business and why ANYONE- including car dealers- work with this place or this man. read more

Customer service is a huge part of your business, and yelling and being extremely rude to your PAYING customer is just terrible. I would recommend staying far away from this shop. Great great great! Had them paint a fender and a bumper and they polished the whole car and made it look new! Shop is ridiculously clean and they are super meticulous. Lots of high end cars so you know they're doing a good job here. Just take one look at this shop and you'll be super impressed. read more

Worst experience ever. Brought in my Bentley with loose front bumper, wound up repainting the car, big mistake, orange peal all over. Misaligned front hood and bumpers, lost my Azure emblem, repeated emails with no good outcome. Bad attitude, poor workmanship, avoid at all cost. Have never taken a car in to this place but as a local I felt like giving my first review. The owner of this place is an absolute asshole and during these times you should support those businesses that are worthy. All day long this guy screams at his employees like they are dirt and loves the sound of his own voice so much he makes sure the neighbors can hear it. I walked by as his poor delivery driver knocked on the door to deliver his food and he came out and screamed at the poor man to come in and put the bags down. Why not just take the bag. Or ask him to leave it at the door. These poor delivery drivers are working during a pandemic and dont deserve at any time to be spoken to like dirt. Whoever runs this place is extremely rude. I called in the morning to make sure they were open and they would be able to service my car. The guy said yes and I should come by in an hour. I show up the hour later and upon entering the office he proceeds to shoo me out, questioning why I was even there and that i should get out, exclaiming "he doesn't need the money" and "he's having a bad day". Thats fine, but you don't need to be a dick about it either. We all have bad days but leave the tude at the door. I was pretty shocked at how an adult could be behaving this way in a professional environment, but then again look who is currently our president. I went there with my car and the owner Roman played the game like I have such a big damage to my car and CHARGED me so much that I actually went to the dealer afterwards to get an estimate and it was less then what he wanted to charge me,you guys tell me how its even possible that a regular body shop charge more then the original dealership !? I just got hit by a van on the passenger side and got a dent.. so I went to this guy named Roman at this shop cos my husband repaired with him previously because we got keyed one time. so today I got there and explained to him what happened and he literally screamed at me saying he doesn't care if I got hit by someone and that he's overwhelmed. I begged him to take a look at it but was screaming at me. the guy who hit me was right beside me. this Roman guy literally made me look bad in front of the other guy. ((STAY AWAY)) As unprofessional, rude and arrogant as they come is the only way I can describe the owner of this place, my car was hit while parked and one of my clients had worked done at this place and recommended it to me, I decided to call Roman on a Saturday afternoon to set up an appointment to get an estimate to submit to my insurance and he asked me to call him on Monday, I did, and he totally dismissed me over the phone, said that he was way to busy and that he would have to call me back and just hung up on me and I am putting this nicely compared to his tone and unprofessionalism. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited all day for his call and he did not call. As a person who is part owner of a small and very successful business that has been around for 32 years I understand that the customer is first and we always put every effort into making everyone welcome to our place. One can only make 1 first impression, Roman made his first impression and that says a lot about him. I am very disappointed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
