Dr. Thai and her staff, Camilla and Ashley, were able to diagnose my OSA by using a Home Sleeping Test (HST). The HST was very easy to use and a world of difference from previous in-clinic sleep studies I've done. The results of the HST were conclusive and my OSA is considered "severe". Dr. Thai and her nurse, Camilla, did a fantastic job explaining the diagnosis and the potential risks associated. They then competently and clearly laid out a number of solutions, the pros and cons of each, and the costs associated with each. In a very vulnerable time, I felt comfortable and safe, knowing Dr. Thai and her staff really had my best interests in mind. I can't recommend Dr. Thai and her office, DFW Sleep Solutions highly enough. I'm just beginning this journey, but feel hopeful about what the future of my sleep holds.

No matter how good a doctor may be, allowing staff to treat patients this way reflects poorly on the entire practice. There are plenty of other pulmonologists in the area who treat patients with respect, and that's where we'll be going instead.

I called and they said the order erroneously got cancelled - very odd and unprofessional that they weren't tracking that on their end. They sent another one out and offered to reschedule my appointment but I didn't accept that offer since I was able to get it done once it finally arrived. I show up to my appointment and they have no record of an appointment. They cancelled it without my approval. The front desk lady Taylor was not helpful and basically said it was my fault bc I didn't confirm the appointment. I get hundreds of texts, emails and phone calls a day, I'm a very busy working mom and sleep deprived, I travel for work and happened to be out of town for Memorial Day weekend with my family when they called and text to confirm, so, they just cancelled it! No attempt to accommodate their mistake. I told them since they messed up TWICE if they were going to make me reschedule and come all the way out there again then the appointment needed to be virtual and she basically said no can do. 0/10 do not recommend due to terrible processes and lack of professionalism. I requested a refund for all monies paid to date and they refused. I did NOT receive the service I paid for, this is fraudulent behavior.

This is a dentist office that decided they could work less and make more money by selling you an appliance. No other anti-snoring option available. Appliance or nothing. In December, I was told the price would be a whopping $6256. I could not afford that in my wildest dreams. But- they told me that insurance would cover a large portion, especially after doing a sleep test (which apparently I didn't score high enough for insurance to care), bla bla bla. I spent the next few months trying over and over to figure out the insurance stuff. Phone calls, emails, claims filed and denied, scanning through my Explanation of benefits on both my medical and dental insurance. Mind you- I had been told both by my insurance provider back in December (UHC in case you're curious) and this place a large amount would be covered. Insurance originally said 90% coverage due to the nature of my treatment, but then went down to 70% since it was out of network. "OK, Fine" I thought. It make still take me forever to pay off that additional 70%, but OK. Well surprise, once the claim actually went through, they didn't offer any at all. It is now the end of April. I have had what seems like endless back and forth conversations with the billing department, my insurance, and the medical provider and I feel like I'm walking in circles. I am stressed out. Honestly- as a young adult taking care of such a big medical expense for the first time, I feel taken advantage of and mislead. Have I been swindled? I don't know. All I know is that I am desperately trying to take steps to get my money back and dispute the charge with care credit. If I can't get this solved, this mistake is going to take me years to pay off. As for the treatment- I believe they would have had more success with a different device, which they admitted in their last appointment with me. There's a lot of positive reviews and I don't doubt that the people that can afford a 6K expense are getting their moneys worth. I appreciate the medical staff and office staff trying to be helpful. Maybe it comes down to just being a young adult making a poor-informed decision because I was in pain and looking for relief.

I have trouble sleeping. I have for years. I don't know why, which is why I ended up here…read more - After many visits to my doctor, and after trying many things, they referred me to a neurologist who ordered a sleep study be done. This is where I went to have it done. - I'd always wanted to have a sleep study done. I've seen them on TV and have always been curious about them. I even remember Alan Alda going through one on an episode of Scientific Amerian Frontiers. So I was really curious how it would work out. - You'd think with today's technology it would all be wireless, but it's just as complex, if not more so, then what you see on TV. - It's a great facility. You get your own bedroom with your own private bathroom. It's like a hotel but smaller and much cleaner. There's even a bathrobe on the hook behind the door! Pretty nice. - Anyhow, you show up at night for your sleep study. When I went, there were two people working for us; Solomon and Katie. Both were super friendly and helpful people. They assign you to your room and let you get settled in. Each room also has cable TV, as well as wifi access, so you'll still be able to update Facebook telling all those people that you're participating in a sleep study. - After awhile they'll come in, tell you to "put your jammies on", then they'll come back and wire you up. I was all tired before that happend, just chilling in my room. The wiring process is extensive, and it pretty much got me wired myself. They glue and stick sensors all over your body. Your scalp, your temples, forehead, even some on your legs. After you're wired up you get into bed, and they plug you in. They also put a heartbeat monitor on your finger. You can still watch TV or play Candy Crush. It's lights out at 11 PM though - they wake you at around 5:00 AM. - The bed is comfortable, the room is comfortable. There's a big fan on the side if you need some air or white noise. What's super-creepy is the big camera pointed right at your bed! They watch you all night long. Literally. To make sure you're ok. - Oh - the creepiest part - if you need anything, you just speak and they'll come get you! Like, if you need to use the restoom at 3 AM, you just say "Hey Katie" or whatever, and they'll be right in to unplug you. Weird, right? But nice. - So it's super creepy to have to sleep with people watching you and wires all over the place. The wires were a bit much, I thought. But overall the experience was as I anticipated - a restless nights sleep in a comfortable place. - They wake you in the morning around 5-5:30. You fill out a little paperwork and you're free to leave. You can use your bathroom to shower up if you want - it's really nice and there's shampoo and conditioner and everything. Not to mention that nice fluffy robe! Me, I took off. I was up early enough to make it home to get ready for work. - I thought it was pretty cool, and the people working here are super-nice and comforting. I didn't sleep well, but that's my fault. It's also the reason why I was here. You don't get your results right away or anything. You just go. - But if you need to go here for a sleep study, you'll like it! Good night!
