He was at the curb at about 5:20am and off we went to the airport. We arrived in plenty of time and paid the quoted price and tip with our credit card. He was extremely friendly and professional. We shared some life stories and our backgrounds. I would definitley use Americab again. FYI - the other company we called which wants you to believe they are Yellow Cab - you only get voice messages, you can't understand most of what's being said and they only want you to book online. You can't ever speak to anyone. So, Matt was way ahead of the curve in terms of response and hospitality.

They completely failed to schedule a driver during the dates they committed to. As a result, my car--and everything I packed inside it--is now stranded while I'm trying to relocate across the country. Instead of honoring the agreement they made with me, they called and said the only solution was for me to pay an additional $1,800 to get a driver. Even worse, that driver still wouldn't have picked up my vehicle until three days after the original pickup window. They expected me to pay thousands more for service that was still late. When I explained how unacceptable this was, their response was simply: "This is the transportation industry." That wasn't an apology. It wasn't accountability. It certainly wasn't a solution. To make matters worse, Nexus has refused to provide any compensation or make any effort to make this right. Despite failing to fulfill the pickup window they contracted for and putting my cross-country move at risk, they've taken no responsibility for the financial costs, inconvenience, or stress they've caused. Apparently, once they have your business, you're on your own. People rely on auto transport companies during some of the biggest transitions in their lives--moves, new jobs, military relocations, and family emergencies. Reliability and integrity are the bare minimum. If your business can't meet the pickup windows you promise, don't make them. And if you fail your customers this badly, at least have the decency to take responsibility instead of asking them for even more money. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. My vehicle and my personal belongings are stranded because Nexus failed to do what they promised, and their solution was to charge me more, deliver later, and refuse any compensation whatsoever. Avoid Nexus Auto Transport at all costs. There are plenty of auto transport brokers out there. Choose one that stands behind its commitments, communicates honestly, and treats customers with respect. If they truly guaranteed the pickup dates in writing, you could strengthen the review by saying they "failed to honor their contracted pickup window." If the contract instead says the dates are only estimates or subject to carrier availability, it's better to stick with "agreed-upon pickup window" to keep the review accurate and defensible.

I sent him the information as requested, and got a canned response that they would get back to me shortly. I never heard back, but I figured that we had everything in hand. Pick-up time arrived and no transportation was in sight. We had to make emergency arrangements which caused anxiety to our client and to the caregiver who was caring for him. Dialysis is a life-saving treatment that must be done on schedule, and Issac really let us down by not showing up for this commitment.
