After walking out of another restaurant for being ignored, we got back on the road and found this Starbright restaurant, and immediately upon walking in were greeted with a smile and a hostess, who seated us and asked what we were drinking for the day. Within seconds seriously, the waitress came back with our beverages and asked if we were ready to order. This was such a pleasant change from the restaurant we had walked out of because everybody ignored us. My friend ordered a country breakfast which he loved, and I ordered an egg white vegetarian omelette. When the waitress brought my omelette, she looked at it and noticed there was ham in it, and said you didn't order ham did you? So she took my order back to be made with all vegetables, but she did come back with my plate of hashbrowns and toast in case I wanted to start eating while I was waiting for them to re-make the Omelette. Very good food, pretty fast service along with a great staff. We go for the breakfast a lot or the broasted chicken which is the best place to go in this little town. I usually get the Omelette and it never disappoints me read more

I was so excited to try this little coney!! It's so vintage and cute! I'm all about small restaurant..little "hole in the wall" type restaurants, they always have the best food! I gave 2 stars because our waitress was super nice!!! BUT here is why I didn't give it 5 stars... I was eating my patty melt w/ cheese fries..after I was a quarter of the way done I noticed a tiny blonde hair!!! Mind you, my sister and I both have super dark hair and my two year old has brown hair also & there was NO color to this hair. I was very disappointed, quit eating and paid my $34 bill w/ a $5 tip because they looked like they needed the money more than me & also mistakes happen.. After leaving I felt I should have said something but when I even talked about it when my sister asked "your full already?!" I started gagging because I already ate some of the food..it's one of those situations I just could talk about without wanting to throw up. read more

I have never been wronged by this place. It's actually a go to joint when wanting to eat out. On Friday, the all you can eat fish dinners are really good. Do yourself a favor and check them out. 3 stars for food and an additional star for staff (friendly and fast). Total 4 stars. Stopped in for lunch while in town for business. The Starbrite has dated dining room and booths, but it is clean. The staff is very friendly. I ordered a ruben and fries. According to the menu, sandwiches typically come with chips. The Ruben arrived and it was a typical ruben. The serving of fries was generous. While the Ruben was very good, the fries were only ok. Thin cut fries and some were soggy or seemed under cooked at least. However, they were still edible, but just not a very good batch or something. I would certainly come here again. They have a good selection of breakfast dishes as well as lunch/dinner options. I decided to stop by with a coworker today and check the place out and was pleasantly surprised. I'm in the area quite often and to be honest the exterior look of the place kind of put me off, but the Yelp reviews drew me in. I ordered the turkey reuben and cheese fries. Everything was really good! The food on the menu is varied, it is not groundbreaking but if you want a good restaurant experience with menu items you'll know this is the place to go. It's bad. Very trashy and dirty. It's always nice when you see a place with no cars in the parking lot at lunch time on a weekend. That should have been a tell-tale sign right there. It was empty when I was there and I can see why. I just don't understand how they can stay in business. read more

This is a cute little restaurant and I would go back. The decor is out of date and the food isn't stellar. But for the price and location it works fine. The menu is super varied and has all of the standard diner fare. My waitress was nice and I enjoyed my meal. read more

I never wrote a review before, but this place is so good I had to write one. The food is nothing but all good. It arrived at the table hot and freshly made. Nothing been sitting under the heat lamp waiting for the waitress to deliver the food. The waitress was very polite & friendly. I wish I've found this place earlier in the week.
