Food was good. Hash browns could have been less greasy and toast more toasted but otherwise we'd go here again. Biggest complaint is I never know when they will be open or closed. So I only eat here when I drive by and see they're actually open. read more

Small hole in the wall. To be honest, the outside makes you kind of hesitate. You can tell it has been around for quite some time. It looks like it has seen a few wars it is so old looking! One waitress was waiting on EVERY table, and it was a bit busy. She was really impressive. My coffee was always filled, she even brought crackers for the baby. What a find. My family and I were visiting relatives in Michigan. We were staying just down the road at my aunts and decided we'd stop in. I always get a little nervous when I stop in to little restaurants in small towns. I'm not a regular like most patrons and you never know how you'll be greeted. My husband, our seven kids and I stood in the entrance waiting for a table for 9. We instantly felt welcomed. The waitress was great and friendly. Heck, even the patrons were friendly. With our large family size we are quite hard to miss. We had lots of friendly conversation about where we were from and how we ended up in the area. So the people are great... then the food came out. The portions were huge. My kids LOVE to eat. Their little eyes lit up when the plates were set down in front of them. We ordered pancakes, French toast, omelettes and so on. Everything was amazing. Awesome food. Awesome people. When we were walking out the door my kids were already asking if we could go there again the next time we were in town... and the answer is yes! Eat here often as we just live around the corner.. very good and fast service. Waitresses (all2of them) work so hard and are very nice. Sometimes I'd like to help them. Just wish they had hours posted . Sometimes open other times closed. No set schedule even when they're suppose to be there. That won't stop me from going there but it may if you're traveling .. Great place for breakfast. They have specials and the food is very good and reasonably priced. My husband ordered the smoked pork chop breakfast special and he said it was very good. I had bacon and eggs with hash browns and toast. The bacon was crispy and not greasy. If you are looking for a breakfast spot I'd recommend coming here. The parking lot was full. read more

So my husband brags about this restaurant where he stops in to get great fish on his way up north all the time. Like the other reviewer, I was hesitant to go in, especially with my three car rule. If less than three cars in the parking lot we don't go in. What a surprise! The family diner offers fast service and the prices are great! The food is definitely good and worth the stop! I ordered cod fish, fries, soup and a fresh salad bar for only $7.69! The regulars said this restaurantis the cheapest place to eat with excellent service and food! My family goes here every Sunday for breakfast. It's definitely a hole in the wall - but they have the best breakfast in town. My mom rants and raves about their bacon being the best in the world. So bacon lovers this is your spot. I don't recommend the sesame chicken. I wasn't impressed and it was to breaded. But their breakfast is always very delicious. They also always have waters for us as soon as we are seated. They know my parents pretty well and know my dad drinks a lot fk water so they give him a bigger cup and they also have coffee for my mom. I just think it's awesome that they make a point to remember what my family enjoys. Fast, good service and great food!! Truly a hidden gem! read more

Tried to stop here and eat, went in, wasn't to busy. I seen the one lady on duty but she never made eye contact with me. I don't know if maybe she didn't see me and my four year old, or what. So we went and Sat down but after she took a table order she never came back, so we just moseied along. Walked right by her on the way out she still didn't seem to see us. read more
