I needed a cup of coffee, actually a misto while I was driving somewhere. I found this location on Yelp! and since it was only five minutes out of my way I went. This was one of the cleaner stores I've been to over the years. The staff was average friendly to me although a lot friendlier to the regulars, even knowing their names. Ordinarily I would not bother reviewing Starbucks since it is so ordinary, however, after my most recent experience, I would like to make note. You go up to the counter, place your order, blah blah blah. Unfortunately for me I only had a $100 dollar bill. Yes, I was buying coffee for me and my dad, but that is all I had in my wallet. Well, it was as if I committed the sin of all sins. I avoided this location after two bad experiences a few years ago but recently was nearby and craving a Green Tea Latte. Definitely this place has improved on its customer service. I'd say as of today I've been here 7/8 times since I started coming back and everytime walked out happy. Mobile ordered a venti Iced toasted vanilla oat milk shaken espresso. Got something that looked like a latte. I went back in to ask it to be remade since it wasn't anything like what I order, a man who I imagine was the shift manager/supervisor was very kind and asked the barista to remake it. Only to get the same milky product back. I was extremely disappointed but decided not to make a scene and left. I've never had a problem here. Sometimes it's a little crowded but the staff is always friendly and I've never had an order messed up.

This Starbucks has the best barista's. Not only do they work really hard there because they are always so busy, but they always seem to have a smile on their face. Plus, they are some of the HOTTEST looking barista's I have ever seen!!! The condiment bar sometimes needs cleaning, but that is only because they are so busy that they cant get around the counter to wipe down the spilled milk from clumsy customers. Starbucks is usually not my thing but I had a few gift cards here so I stopped in to grab something for breakfast. There was no line and the menu was very clear. I ordered a peach green tea lemonade and a banana loaf. Both items were great they warmed my loaf and I was in and out in a jiffy ! The staff was friendly and there were a few people dining in. I would definitely go back, I noticed they had a few prepared food/ lunch/ snack options of cheese and fruit trays, sandwiches and wraps. This Starbucks staff is undertrained and can't meet the demands of its customers in a timely fashion. They have a pretty large staff but most of the time they're not doing anything and just standing around not asking the customers what they want. The service is just awful and super slow. I ordered a tall drink and I got their at 4:07 and left at 4:30! Can't believe I wanted 23 minutes for one cup of coffee. The place is also unsanitary and can tell isn't cleaned properly. This Starbucks has also been over taken by its neighboring Monsey residents if you know what I mean making it dirty and stressful. If you're in a hurry or like being on time I would skip ordering from this Starbucks! read more

Well, messing up my iced tea order a bit was a little annoying...but the real problem at this place is the climate control unit they have installed above the front entrance. Every time the door is opened, it clicks on loudly with an overwhelming fan noise that stays engaged until the door closes. It is loud, intrusive, and thoroughly annoying, especially if you're sitting near the front and trying to carry on a conversation. Ordered a grande java chip Frappuccino. Had to wait a few minutes. I drank it and noticed that it was more like drinking milk rather than a nice slushy mix of ice, milk, Java chip, etc. Oh well. I hate to say this but this location in my opinion is one of the worst I've been to. I returned a few times to give it another chance but I have to say every time I'm in there it's a bad experience. One of my visits there I had to wait 15 minutes for my drink and it wasn't even busy. There were 4 people standing around who could have been making my drink but I had to wait for the one girl who was making a drink for a picky customer which took 10 minutes. Another one of my visits one of the baristas put an overload of caramel in my macchiato. so much to the point when I got to the end of the drink I opened it up and there was an inch thick of caramel sitting at the bottom. Gross. I'm normally a super easy going customer and never picky but this was horrible. From now on I'll be sticking to the nanuet locations, specifically the one at the Shoppes. So far my orders have been quickly made. Everything tasted right. The cashier and barista (cute guy) were pleasant. Never tasted the baked goods from here. Probably got a packaged meal once or twice, nothing to complain about, expiration dates were good. The only thing to complain about is the price. But u know what your getting into.
