Dragon drink... first try not bad
    Paul N.

Came by late to try a Dragon Drink, I've never ordered a Dragon Drink before and thought I'd give it a try. The drink was good not to sweet kinda tasted a little watered down however it was made with coconut milk. I would definitely order this drink again, it was quite refreshing This location is open till 10:00pm which is nice if you have a coffee craving a little late. Lots of space inside and the music was not too loud. Service was great barista was very helpful and since it was my first time trying this drink she said if I didn't like it she would make me something else.

Perfect place to meet up with my friend and catch up on our day while getting a sweet treat and a beverage! Wonderful service, yummy treats and close to home. Easy peasy!!

So, it's a Starbucks, and I like Starbucks, so the three stars are not meant to suggest anything more or less than the fact that this is a good solid workhorse of a Starbucks. That said, this location has no drivethrough (nor does it have a Clover brewing system, but neither does any other Starbucks in NM), but it is probably my favorite loc in town. Great view of the mountains if you sit outside (even if you have to look past the parking lot in front of you). And it's a little off the beaten path -- well removed from Interstate traffic. On the other hand, it is in the middle of a well populated residential area, so plenty of locals from whom this is not a guarded secret. But the big news is that this location just (like just last week just) went through a redecoration. Gone are the upholstered chairs (which I liked), and the large uni-space. They've been replaced by more a modern looking sitting space of chairs and sofas (Scandinavian influenced design?). It was comfortable, but very cold in that corner this evening. This space is separated from the rest of the shop by dark floor-to-ceiling bars (like a jail cell without the unpleasant incarceration vibe). I'm going to go with "Japanese design" influence on that architectural touch. The rest of the place is set up with the usual table and chairs, including some tables that are large enough to accomodate a group of, I'd say, ten or so people. Overall, the place has mod'ed itself up. Sleak and cool rather than warm and cozy. Not in a bad way, but just be aware of what to expect.

Oh ya just to show those of you who think I might be scamming the check in system. :)

Awesome place to go to in general. The staff are friendly and parking isn't bad at all. Plenty of parking spots. I wish it was a drive through though. It's in a relatively nice shopping area, there's a smith close by and ups right next door, so if you need to get groceries and ship stuff though, it's all in one location.

That was in my daughter's blueberry muffin!

They dont mark the drinks anymore! My daughter had this in her blueberry muffin! Not cool!

"Light Ice" yeah that's light ice I guess & didn't even put down Soy Milk even though I asked for that. It's two simple request

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

Very mild chocolate, I believe it is Dutch chocolate if my memory services me not to sweet which I appreciate. It was delightfully well balanced. The coffee itself is very smooth and not bitter, excellent taste! I will be back for sure to try other options there are lots of choices. I should have taken a picture of the menu. There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.

Friendly service and faces always warm up a cold morning, and we definitely got that at Los Ranchos Bakery. The menu is simple and the baked goods look great! We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chile cheddar bagel, a lavender latte, and a red chile mocha. A cherry tart and a cinnamon roll to go. The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!

Always love supporting small, local spots that have that kind of story behind them. I tried their Aztec Latte, one of their signature drinks made with espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon. I was a little unsure at first since I'm not a big fan of cinnamon, but it ended up being super mild and creamy. We also got the Red Chili Mocha, which has espresso, milk, red chili, and chocolate. I expected more of a kick from the chili, but it was actually on the milder side as well. Since it was a little chilly in Albuquerque, we went for hot lattes, which definitely hit the spot. We split a couple of toasts too. The avocado toast came with hummus, avocado, and a drizzle of sriracha. I liked that the hummus was the base instead of just plain avocado. I think it added a nice creamy layer that worked perfectly with the sourdough and spice. The Caprese toast was classic: pesto, mozzarella, balsamic, and tomatoes. Also a solid choice. The vibe inside was really chill. People were working on laptops, chatting quietly, low music in the background. The walls had artwork from a local artist, which was a nice touch. The baristas were very friendly. Service was on point.
